Who is Dalia Mogahed? Mogahed is a member of President BHO’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. This is a so-called multicultural advisory board. I presume “multicultural” is the defining word of the board. Among Leftists multiculturalism and diversity is to be promoted to the point of submerging the Christian and Anglo-Saxon heritage derived primarily from Britain.
Mogahed is typical of multiculturalists representing Islam. I say that meaning most American-Muslim groups are influenced by either the Muslim Brotherhood or Wahabbi psycho-Islam from Saudi Arabia. The former emphasizes a global Caliphate and the later emphasizes purist Islam from the Mohammed example. The emphasis is marginal in that both rigid Islamic camps strongly advocate much of same Islamic Supremacist propaganda.
Mogahed is the kind of multiculturist described above. She also promotes the West (i.e. America) accept the Muslim practice of Sharia Law. Despite of what Mogahed may tell her listeners, Sharia Law does not promote civil or human rights. Rather Sharia Law promotes the way of Mohammed which is brutal toward those who do not like Mohammed’s way and to Muslims who stray of Sharia’s path.
Why in the world would President Barack Hussein Obama place a person with links to concepts of Islamic despotism contrary to American Liberty and Freedom on a multicultural advisory council to give advice relating to Islam?

Did you realize that "The majority of women around the world associate gender justice, or justice for women, with sharia compliance”?
That’s right, according to Dalia Mogahed, President Obama’s advisor on Muslim affairs, who made this astonishing statement in an interview on a British television show (see story below).
Mogahed has made news before.
She was a member of the U.S. Muslim Engagement Project, which called for “engagement” with the Muslim Brotherhood — the organization that has a 100 year plan for subverting and overthrowing the West.
She teamed up with John Esposito to conduct a poll on Islam, then misrepresented some of the results (some called it “cooking the books”) in order to increase the number of Muslim “moderates.”
What makes Mogahed’s demonstrably untrue assertion about shariah even more disturbing is that she made it in an interview hosted by a member of the radical Islamist organization Hizb ut Tahrir.
Hizb ut Tahrir is committed to the overthrow of democracy and capitalism and the worldwide imposition of shariah Islamic law. The organization has been banned as a terrorist organization in several countries — but remarkably, not here in the United States.
For Mogahed to assert that shariah promotes “gender justice” would be laughable if it weren’t so tragic.
That she has the ear of the White House is yet another chilling reminder of how our nation is being led down the path of forced Islamification that England and Western Europe have already walked.

Barack Obama adviser says Sharia Law is misunderstood

President Barack Obama's adviser on Muslim affairs, Dalia Mogahed, has provoked controversy by appearing on a British television show hosted by a member of an extremist group to talk about Sharia Law.
Miss Mogahed, appointed to the President's Council on Faith-Based and Neighbourhood Partnerships, said the Western view of Sharia was "oversimplified" and the majority of women around the world associate it with "gender justice".
The White House adviser made the remarks on a London-based TV discussion programme hosted by Ibtihal Bsis, a member of the extremist Hizb ut Tahrir party.
The group believes in the non-violent destruction of Western democracy and the creation of an Islamic state under Sharia Law across the world.
Miss Mogahed appeared alongside Hizb ut Tahrir's national women's officer, Nazreen Nawaz.
During the 45-minute discussion, on the Islam Channel programme Muslimah Dilemma earlier this week, the two members of the group made repeated attacks on secular "man-made law" and the West's "lethal cocktail of liberty and capitalism".
They called for Sharia Law to be "the source of legislation" and said that women should not be "permitted to hold a position of leadership in government".
Miss Mogahed made no challenge to these demands and said that "promiscuity" and the "breakdown of traditional values" were what Muslims admired least about the West.
She said: "I think the reason so many women support Sharia is because they have a very different understanding of sharia than the common perception in Western media.
"The majority of women around the world associate gender justice, or justice for women, with sharia compliance.
"The portrayal of Sharia has been oversimplified in many cases."
Sharia in its broadest sense is a religious code for living, which decrees such matters as fasting and dressing modestly. However, it has also been interpreted as requiring the separation of men and women.
It also includes the controversial "Hadd offences", crimes with specific penalties set by the Koran and the sayings of the prophet Mohammed. These include death by stoning for adultery and homosexuality and the removal of a hand for theft.
Miss Mogahed admitted that even many Muslims associated Sharia with "maximum criminal punishments" and "laws that... to many people seem unequal to women," but added: "Part of the reason that there is this perception of Sharia is because Sharia is not well understood and Islam as a faith is not well understood."
The video of the broadcast has now been prominently posted on the front page of Hizb ut Tahrir's website.
Miss Mogahed, who was born in Egypt and moved to America at the age of five, is the first veiled Muslim woman to serve in the White House. Her appointment was seen as a sign of the Obama administration's determination to reach out to the Muslim world.
She is also the executive director of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies, a project which aims to scientifically sample public opinion in the Muslim world.
During this week's broadcast, she described her White House role as "to convey... to the President and other public officials what it is Muslims want."
Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America, said Miss Mogahed was “downplaying” Sharia Law.
“There is a reason sharia has got a bad name and it is how it has been exercised. Regrettably in the US there have been acts of injustice perpetrated against women that are driven by the Sharia-type mindset that women are objects not human beings,” she said.
She cited the example of Muzzammil Hassan, a Buffalo man who ran a cable channel aimed at countering Muslim stereotypes and was charged earlier this year with beheading his wife after she filed for divorce.
“Americans understand by example, it’s not as if we are an ignorant mass of people. Just as we don’t broad brush all Muslims, so should Dalia not downplay the serious nature of sharia law.”

I found a Steve Emerson post at Faith Freedom International detailing the stupidity of the State Department pandering to Radical Islamic (aka Islamist) elements and organizations in America. I mean we are talking organizations with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood which advocates a global Caliphate to rule the world and impose Sharia Law. Many of these organizations and elements also have direct ties to murdering Islamic terrorists like Hamas.
I would normally cross post an awesome exposé such as Emerson’s; however my main website at SlantRight.com does not tolerate the many source links the Emerson article utilizes to back up his statements. So I am cross posting at the Blogger SlantRight which is also easier because I do not have to type in the html myself.

The propaganda from Islamic-American organizations is huge in the USA. Now I understand that the majority of Muslims in the USA are probably individuals that believe Islam is peace rather than submission. I also understand that this majority follows the precepts of Islamic inner-peace (the so-called Greater Jihad: a Muslim’s view) or are secularized Americans with an Islamic heritage. The Muslims subscribing to the Greater Jihad or secularism are really deluding themselves when they ignore Qur’anic advocation for Lesser Jihad (What Westerners would call terrorism or militant Islam) as well as the Hadith and Sunna glorification of Mohammed’s personal example of later-life hatred of Jews and Christians and the mandate for Muslims to conquer, humiliate, convert and dhimmify or kill all in the name of Allah.
One of the greatest Islamic propaganda machines in America is the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas associated Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). For an ongoing scoop on CAIR you need to go to the Anti-CAIR.
Sadly CAIR’s propaganda machine has become effective in deceiving Americans about what is Islam and CAIR’s insidious associations which includes some big bucks from Saudi wealth. Saudi Arabia is publicly an ally with America in the fight against the Global War on Terror (yes President BHO, I prefer that appellation). Yet the Saudi government and various Saudi million/billionaires finance radical Islamic ideology up to and including terrorism.
Fortunately there are anti-jihadists that make it their aim to counter the Islamic propaganda of the type Islam propagated by most American-Islamic organizations.

Why Is CAIR Rejoicing?

If you or I were a fly on the wall inside the national headquarters of CAIR today (Council on American-Islamic Relations), I have no doubt we would be witnessing a celebration.
Anyone who follows CAIR understands that the organization is intent on convincing Americans that Islam is a peaceful religion, that terrorists are just a few “extremists” who do not follow “true” Islam, and that Muslims in America are the constant victims of discrimination, hate, and a massive and organized campaign to falsely smear them.
Government statistics don’t support the claim that Muslims are frequent, or even occasional, victims of discrimination or hate crimes.
But CAIR understands full well that if Muslims can be successfully portrayed as victims, and critics of radical Islam successfully portrayed as “bigots” or “intolerant,” efforts to stop the infiltration of cultural Jihad into America will be seriously undermined.
This is why CAIR has worked hard for years to lobby political officials, members of the media, and leaders in academia. CAIR is quick to attack any person or group or silence any effort that speaks out against radical Islam and the threat it poses to America. Just recently CAIR-San Diego tried to stop an ACT! for America chapter presentation at a San Diego library.
CAIR’s confidential strategy memo of last year, which we obtained from an inside source, reveals CAIR understands very well how important it is to win the public relations battle.
And a recent Pew Research Center poll reveals that CAIR’s strategy is beginning to bear fruit.
For instance, the poll found that 58% of Americans now believe that Muslims are subject to “a lot of discrimination.” The same poll found that 52% believe Hispanics are subject to a lot of discrimination, and 49% believe blacks are subject to a lot of discrimination.
In other words, more Americans believe Muslims are discriminated against than Hispanics or blacks. The public relations drumbeat to cast Muslims as victims appears to be working.
But what is most disturbing is that 45% of those polled do not believe Islam is any more likely to encourage violence among its believers than other religions.
Consider that shocking finding for a moment. Since 1970, over 50,000 different acts of Islamic terrorism or violence have been documented across the globe. No other religious belief comes even remotely close.
Yet 45% of Americans polled by Pew believe Islam is no more likely to encourage violence than Christianity, Judaism or Hinduism. In other words, 45% of Americans now believe something that is demonstrably and provably incorrect.
How has this happened? Disinformation in our schools and universities and rampant political correctness in the media and government, fueled by the actions and activities of organizations like CAIR.
Like I said, CAIR is rejoicing today.
This is a good wake-up call for us. The good news is that 38% of those polled did believe Islam is more likely to encourage violence than other religions, so a lot of Americans “get it.”
But if the trends of the past four years revealed in this poll continue for the next few years, the time will come when a majority of Americans will believe the politically correct misinformation that is flooding our schools, colleges, news programs and films and television shows.
CAIR understands how important the public relations effort is to winning the hearts and minds of Americans. We do too.
This is why I’m writing you today, to unveil an ambitious and powerful public relations effort we are starting to put together for early next year.

Now doesn’t this sound awesome? The CAIR vision reads like a very tolerant American thinking organization whose central concern is sticking up for the civil rights of Muslim-Americans.
Unfortunately it is propaganda validating the wishful thinking of decent Muslims who actually believe that Islam means peace. Also the CAIR vision reads as something very American to American non-Muslims (kafir) who believe in the American principles of Freedom of Religion and social justice.
The reality is CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator with those of convicted in the Holy Land Foundation trial for laundering charitable donations into the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas. So much for the concept of “justice and mutual understanding.”
Now let’s look at Islam’s practice of tolerance, civil liberties and building coalitions that promote justice of mutual understanding.
TOLERANCE
Muslims constantly attack Christians in Bangladesh and force the sale of their property and humiliate them.
Seventeen year old Rifqa Bary fled her Muslim parents fearing they would kill her for converting to Christianity. Her fears have not been substantiated by law enforcement; however there are several cases of honor killing in America and the West for less egregious acts of offending Islam or Islamic family honor. Since Rifqa has fled to Florida she has received death threats from Muslims other than her family Muslim apostasy.
CIVIL LIBERTIES
Muslim Turkish father murders his son when he finds out the young man is a homosexual. If you read my blogs you are aware I believe homosexuality is a deviant sin; however I would never advocate death or harm to a homosexual. I would advocate my right as a business owner not to be forced to hire a person whose lifestyle I find to be repugnant.
There is no freedom of speech or the open freedom of religion in Muslim dominated nations and in the West many conclaves of Muslims have successfully instituted Sharia Law which denies civil rights to human beings.

Mutual Understanding in Islam
Here is a mere small list of people who live under a death threat for their advocacy in making people aware of the negative aspects of Islam. Here is another essay demonstrating the lack of Mutual Understanding within Islam.
I could probably fill ten pages of examples of Intolerance, the non-existence of Civil Rights and the total absence of Mutual Understanding AND still not come close to exposing Islam’s negative aspects as compared to Western and (especially) American principles of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
CAIR is so hypocritical in its alleged status of moderate Islam and defender of Muslim Civil Rights. CAIR has not only been connected to Hamas legally through the HLF convictions but the organization’s founders and many of its current leadership have espoused the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood is definitely not a representative of moderate Islam. Nearly all the transnational terrorist organizations of the Sunni Islam persuasion are of the Hanbali Islamic school of thought. The Hanbali school is conservative and interprets the Quran, Hadith, Sunna and so on in literal terms and consider the most extreme violence of Mohammed’s Islamic conquests and retribution as examples to be followed in the in the present time.
Muslim Brotherhood, Salafist, Wahhabi and related groups thus are Islamic reform movements seeking to enforce the return of purest Islam of the Prophet Mohammed’s day in the seventh century AD (C.E. for secular humanists).
CAIR is a part of this very non-moderate Islamic tradition regardless of CAIR allusions to the contrary.
An article by Joe Kaufman at Pajamas Media is the inspiration of my writing actually the briefest of facts about CAIR. You should probably check out the Anti-CAIR website that delves into CAIR constantly; however read Kaufman’s article about Hussam Ayloush. Ayloush is the leader of CAIR-Southern California. Evidently Ayloush sticks to the national CAIR line of being a moderate Muslim criticizing the FBI. The FBI criticism is because the Bureau wisely has cut off official team work with CAIR because of its unindicted co-conspirator connections to the HLF convicts directly sending money to Hamas.

September 11, 2001 is the date that Islam became more than just another religion that was growing rapidly in the world. Islam became the religion in which some people took the literal past as the will of Allah for the world in the twenty-first century. Thus the proponents of what is commonly called “radical Islam” to differentiate from “moderate Islam” seemed to become the mouthpiece of Islam to the American public.
Al Qaeda became a household word in America soon after 9/11. The recognized leadership figure of Al Qaeda is Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden’s ideology of Islam is from the mold of Wahhabi (Salafist) Islam the dominant version of Islam in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is one of the wealthiest oil nations in the world. Saudi adherents of Wahhabi have been the recipients of that wealth and have used it to finance the Wahhabi Islamic version world wide including the United States of America.
Wahhabi Islam is very closely related to the same radical Islamic ideology birthed in Egypt known to the West mostly as the Muslim Brotherhood but also is known as Ikhwan.
The murdering Islamic Supremacist Palestinian-Arab organization known as Hamas is essentially an autonomous wing of the Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza (Gazastan or Hamastan). As we know Hamas wishes to be the lead Muslim terrorist organization superseding Fatah and the Palestine Authority (PA) representing Arabs that call themselves Palestinians in the creation of a Palestinian State that would dismember Israel and provide the next Jewish Holocaust.
The Muslim Brotherhood is highly connected to many American-Muslim organizations of note who claim to represent some aspect or another of “Moderate Islam” in America. Consequently Islamic terrorists Hamas also extend a reach into America as the Holy Land Foundation convictions (along with unindicted co-conspirators) proved.
Despite this interconnected web of evil which is to this day extending its hand on American soil, the American Left is hyper-concerned that Freedom of Religion should prevent scrutiny of the same Islamic ideology that inspired the 9/11 attacks that killed more Americans in our homeland than the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
President Roosevelt announced to America that December 7, 1941 would be a day that will live in infamy. That day of infamy led to a war strategy that the Nazis of Germany and Imperialist Japanese could only make peace by a total and absolute surrender to the Allies that were at war with this axis of evil.
Here we are today on the cusp of nearly eight years of continuous fighting in Afghanistan and there is no unconditional surrender. For that matter there is not a hint of peace overtures either from the Taliban or al Qaeda toward ending the conflict. Indeed the radical Islam of these groups has taken on the nature of suicide before surrender.
Unfortunately the times they have changed from a strategy of win at all costs to a strategy limited by Western International Political Correctness. I am thinking a general like George Patton would have taken the mountainous Bora Bora cave system between Afghanistan and Pakistan and would have immersed the area in carnage (including the collateral damage of Taliban sympathetic civilians) until there was surrender or nothing left to surrender.
Twenty-first century Political Correctness would look upon such a victory in horror because of the huge toll of human lives lost. And yet it was the strategy of forcing unconditional surrenders in World War II that led to the devastating bombing of Dresden, Germany as well as the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. I am guessing more civilians died in those actions than Nazi or Japanese military personnel. Even so Germany and Japan provided the unconditional surrender to sue for peace.
I am also guessing if the WWII drive to win at all costs was executed today, the chasing of the Taliban and al Qaeda would have ended years ago.
Since the polls concerning the Iraq War theatre brought down Republican dominance in Congress and vilified President G. W. Bush, I am guessing President Barack Hussein Obama is watching the polls of American attitudes toward the Afghanistan War Theatre.
Since President BHO is the Prince of Appeasement and Political Correctness, I wonder what the Obama Administration strategy will be to end America’s military action in the Afghanistan War Theatre. Do you wonder as well?
The Mainstream Media (MSM) has been a little better at telling both sides of the story of Rifqa Bary, but not much.
The August 30, Orlando Sentinel is still on board to portray Rifqa as a rebellious teen and goes out of its way to portray Mohamed Bary as a friendly typical Westernized Muslim. The Sentinel goes out of it’s way to express that the Bary family is not a radical-Islamic family (BUT THE FAMILY ATTENDS A RADICAL ISLAMIC MOSQUE). The Sentinel claims to have interviewed friends and neighbors who say they are shocked that Rifqa Bary would say her father wants her dead for converting to Christianity. One must wonder if Mohamed Bary is such a tolerant moderate Muslim why does he attend the Noor Islamic Cultural Center.
Most of the MSM has taken their cue from the Orlando Sentinel. I did find a FOX and Friends interview in which a former Muslim who is now a Christian Pastor in Ohio confirmed that Rifqa’s claims of mortal fear are not something that is a spur of the moment whim by a confused teenager: video found on Infidel’s Paradise. This Pastor counseled with Rifqa about a year ago about her fears of being outed about her Christianity. The Pastor said that at the time she had been a Christian for three years (hence four years now) and told her story of being Born Again.
My bet is if the MSM and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) have their influence and money to snatch Rifqa back to Ohio, she will disappear into an anonymous asylum for lunatics or found dead in Sri Lanka.

Here is an interesting discussion about Islam that takes place between Gary H. Johnson, Jr. and Chris Carter. As you read these musings you will view Johnson’s understanding of phrases used by anti-jihad bloggers. Whether you agree or not with the definitions are not as important as it is to begin engaging your mind to ponder them.
The Obama Administration may not be at war with Islam or at least aspects of the theo-political cult, but Islam is definitely at war with the West (again) or at least aspects of Islam.
The pondering is posted at United Against Islamic Supremacism and it appears it may be an ongoing discussion.

This is one book everyone should read! It is amazing how little one hears from Western Academics about the Hindu genocide perpetrated by the so-called religion of peace (Mohammedanism) in India.

Moorthy S. Muthuswamy's 2009 release Defeating Political Islam is a necessary primer for those seeking to understand the multiple-front jihads that have plagued India since the creation of Pakistan in 1947. The tragic history of the ongoing Hindu genocide at the hands of political Islam is not yet a primary focus of jihad scholarship in the West. Admirably, Muthuswamy's critique of Islam's recent political and militant advances in Southeast Asia recognizes the inherent weakness of both democracy and diplomacy in confronting a cohesive political ideology that indoctrinates its adherents with a "passion for conquest". Historical context leaps off the page for jilted Western observers struggling to make heads or tails of Lashkar-e-Taiba's November 2008 jihadi massacre in the port city of Mumbai; Muthuswamy sets the violent affair as but one spectacular atrocity in a decades long "Siege of India".
The central thesis of Defeating Political Islam is that the leaders of an "Axis of Jihad" made up of Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan are actively, consciously, financing political Islam via the local, regional and international propagation of the "Islamic Trilogy". Muthuswamy's polemic is designed to instill a sense of grievance in nations and individuals assailed by the winds of jihadist terrorism; and, unflinchingly holds the Axis nations to account for their "crimes-against-humanity". Steeped in statistical analysis, Defeating Political Islam: The New Cold War is a deliberate challenge to the widely held notion that Islam is a religion of peace. For the independent terror trackers of this new cold war, Muthuswamy's conclusions will be met with a mixture of criticism and agreement; however, what is undeniable is that his remarkable effort in the path of liberty has left over 600 reference points for those of us who are following in his wake in the as of yet still uncharted frontiers of a dawning intellectual revolution.

Considering the Japanese style sneak attack of Islamic terrorists on 911, it is remarkable that there is not more public information being disseminated to the American public.
The lack of information is remarkable but I do understand the reasoning. The Mainstream Media and a Politically Correct (PC) U.S. government are afraid that if the negative side of Islam is disseminated to the American public that an increase in anti-Muslim hate crimes would increase. Indeed the well financed Islamic-American organizations are also a huge factor in enforcing PC thinking in America. These Islamic-American organizations gravitate toward radical Islam even though publicly they claim to represent the American mainstream Islam. To all the Muslim-Americans that claim to be moderate Muslims eschewing Radical Islam as an aberration of Islam, the existence of Islamist agenda Muslim-American organizations should be sending up red flags. Yet one rarely reads of an influential Muslim-American castigating these Islamist oriented Muslim-American organizations.
I have often read that Islamist/Salafist/Wahhabist Islam statistically only represents 10% of practicing Muslims globally. I am assuming that this statistic is representatively associated with the primary sect of Islam which is the Sunni.
The PC crowd has effectively kept Americans in the dark about the negative aspects of Islam.
An even darker knowledge is that of understanding where Shia Islam resides in the moderate/radical realm of Islam. Shia has had to be radical to survive the dislike of the majority Islamic sect of Sunnis. Thus it is very easy for Shias to radicalize even though there is a “quietist” element which developed to be non-confrontational. Nonetheless, the very nature of Shia (the party of Ali) has to do with the thought that the fourth Caliph after Mo’s death should have been the second Caliph.
Ali was a cousin and son-in-law of the prophet Mohammed. When Ali was defeated and assassinated by his rival, the closest thing to blood descent to the prophet ended. This made a significant portion of Muslims displeased. Thus this portion developed Imams as descendants of Mohammed through Ali as the true heirs of spiritual-political leaders of Islam. The majority of Islam got behind the Caliphate apart from the party of Ali. Thus Shia faired adversely accept in the land that had a traditional heritage of empire and independence. That land was Persia which is present day Iran.
Now I am fairly certain that my brief explanation of Shia would be castigated by an adherent as a weak interpretation. Nonetheless, it is important to understand the roots of Shia to get a grasp of the radical nature of Iran and its radical thinking of a global Caliphate with the Shia perspective rather than the Sunni perspective.
With this in mind I encourage you to read this Hudson Institute publication entitled, “The Paradoxes of Shiism”.

Gary H. Johnson, Jr. has an interesting take on the voting riots taking place in Iran. Since Johnson is remarkably versed in the knowledge of Islam, it would be well worth diplomats to pay attentions to his assessment.
Basically Johnson sees the unrest in Iran as a reaction of third generation of radicalized Shi’ites whose fathers and grandfathers were heroic martyrs of the Iraq-Iran war of the Eighties. Couple the radical indoctrination of a devotion to Shi’ite Islam and unemployment may be the undergirding of why Mousavi has become a symbol of change.
In my opinion that “change” is not a change of Khomeini revolutionary ideas, rather it is a change of radical Shi’ites sensing an abandonment of privilege that should be available to the descendants of the heroes of the past.
