Thanks to Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska it appears President Barack Hussein Obama’s X-mass (it can’t be Christmas – he’s a Leftist) wish list will be made possible. Reformed Healthcare the Democratic Party way seems to be a go. If you have health problems and can’t afford insurance – move to Nebraska.
The Washington Post and Politico disseminate summary details.

I am not sure when or if Dr. David Barton actually spoke this speech; nonetheless the insights are of an American-Christian historian that I think are consistent with the information herein.
Yes I am posting a chain letter. This is the reason I am uncertain of its actual authorship.

Intro:
On Dr. Charles Stanley's Sunday program "In Touch", the guest speaker was more of a historian than a Biblical speaker, but he is very famous for his knowledge of historical facts as well as Biblical truths.
Dr. David Barton is his name. He is an expert on the subject of whether or not the United States was founded as a Christian Nation.

David Barton:
Respect the Office? Yes.
Respect the Man in the Office? No, I am sorry to say.
I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.
Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I AM NOT
uniting behind Obama!
I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith and pray for him, BUT that is it.
I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that he is a one-term President!
Why am I doing this?
It is because:
- I do not share Obama's vision or value system for America;
- I do not share his Abortion beliefs;
- I do not share his radical Marxist's concept of re-distributing wealth;
- I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+ (the ceiling has been changed three times since August);
- I do not share his view that America is Arrogant;
- I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation;
- I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%;
- I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than our American Citizens who need help;
- I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage;
- I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend
and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land;
- I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public);
- I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system
in America;
- I do not share his Strategic views of the Middle East; and
- I certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran.
Bottom line: my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my GOD to do what is Right!
For eight (8) years, the Liberals in our Society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs!
They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country!
They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!
They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years!
They have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country!
They have made every effort to remove the name of GOD or Jesus Christ from our Society!
They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code!
They have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms,
the right of free speech!
Unite behind Obama? Never! ! !
I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!
PRESIDENT BUSH made many mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him. However, I believe that he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!
Majority rules in America, and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and his "goals for America."
I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our Country! ! Any more compromise is more defeat!
I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist anti-GOD crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America!

Dr. Stanley’s In Touch
About Dr. David Barton
Dr. Marc Lamont Hill was given the axe as a paid contributor to FOX News. Dr. Hill actually did an eloquent job defending the Leftist perception of occurrences that FOX News reported on. Nonetheless, Dr. Hill’s pedigree of activities out side of his paid contributor status has turned to be a bit heinous for respecters of American Constitutional Liberty and Justice. In fact Dr. Hill’s Leftist apologetics are down right subversive.
David Swindle writing for NewsReal has some thoughts on the matter.

On October 6th I posted Bill Warner’s disdain for Lt. General Stanley McChrystal as the military leader in Afghanistan and Sarah Palin for a speech in Hong Kong that included her current thoughts on Islam.
Warner’s complaint is that these two do not have a grasp about the correct actuality about Muslim tenets to be in the positions they are either in or aspire to be in.
Another excellent writer exposing the tenets of Islam picked up on Warner’s piece and focused on the Palin’s Facebook description of her time in Hong Kong. Ben’s Blog took Palin to task for her ignorance of Islam because she followed the politically correct path of Islam is not evil, terrorists are. Or anyway that is my take on a brief summary.
Ben is very specific and so I cannot fault his thinking; nonetheless I had some thoughts that I posted in the comment section:
Ben you would be surprised how many Conservative Republicans feel Sarah Palin is not bright enough for Higher Office. I am not one those Conservatives.
Palin's total lack of knowledge about Islam is not unique. Leftists and Conservatives alike tend to believe spoon fed information concerning the religion of evil. Would Palin find advisors in the know if indeed she runs for Higher Office? I pray that is the case.
Bush began with Islam is Islamofascism. Whether or not that is a good description of Islam is debatable however at the least it had the seeds of knowing Islam inspired violence and not peace. Then as Bush began to backtrack by describing Islam as the religion of peace. One has to think that Bush caved into State Department Republicans of the nature of James Baker and the deception of American-Islamic organizations such as CAIR.
As it stands now I believe Palin is flexible enough yet political enough to grasp the wickedness of Islam yet not having to commit to a public understanding of such an understanding. To publicly announce Islam is evil would be political suicide in America today.
That is one lesson Palin or any Conservative candidate can learn from President Barack Hussein Obama: Deny everything, promise what your followers and centrists want to hear and attack the attackers' credibility for criticism.
P.S.: No anger here. Palin definitely has to change her vision of Islam.
With those thoughts in mind I discovered an article at Investors.com concerning Palin’s time in Hong Kong that is more on the positive side.

Michael Medved has a new article entitled, “The Only Way to Beat Obamanism: Elect More Republicans.” The article’s premise is self-explanatory: To stop the Leftist agenda of the Democrats and the Obama Administration, Republicans must be elected.
Medved goes on to criticize the thought that Third Parties are an answer to Leftist Democrats. The gravitation of some of the Slanted Right to Third Parties is the result of frustration with the Republican Party. He even effectively discredits the thought that the beginning of the Republican Party was that of a Third Party. Medved argues that the Republican Party did not compete with the Whig Party but rather replaced it. Hence Third Parties have never successfully operated in the USA.
Medved half-heartedly criticizes the public rallies carrying anti-Obama signs specifically referencing Tea Party protesters. I say half-heartedly for Medved wrote that the rallies do nothing to influence current Congressional or Administrative members. Yet Medved does say the Tea Parties could become a tool to focus on electing Republicans to counteract the Leftist Democrats.
Instead of becoming frustrated with the GOP and supporting the Slanted Right platforms of Third Parties (and there are many out there with good intentions), it is time to focus on the only reality which is dislodging Democrats. That reality is a Slanted Right move of Republicans in which the various agendas unite with one purpose – DEFEAT DEMOCRATS.
Pro-Life Republicans do not necessarily have the same agenda as Less Government Republicans. Social Issue Republicans do not necessarily have the same agenda as Free Market Republicans. Many Conservatives view Neoconservatives in a negative light. I am sure you could add some other scenarios. The point is though that all these agendas need to unite again to end the Leftist agenda that is rendering the U.S. Constitution into a useless “living organ” mystically able to be interpreted as seen fit rather than by intent.

Senator Ted Kennedy passed away on Tuesday August 25, 2009. I read some of the praise remarks of the late Senator. The one I remember best is the “Lion of the Senate.” I think a more apt description for Senator Kennedy is the “Lion of the Left.”
I have also read some of the comments by some of my fellow Conservatives which can be summed up in the invective goodbye of “Good Riddance.” Amazingly some more vile words were used as well.
I was no fan or friend of Ted Kennedy; nonetheless my fellow Conservatives who detest Leftist ideology you should respect a man who spent much of his adult life serving the United States as an elected Senator from Massachusetts.
I was about seven years old when President JFK was assassinated. I was about twelve years old when Senator RFK was assassinated. My lower working class family was staunch Democrats believing that President FDR saved America and American people from jobless poverty of The Depression. It did not matter if there were moral or political differences with Democrats. All that mattered was Joe Working American had work and thus food to put on the table.
I would even venture to say that my family could give a hoot about politics in general. The man that enabled Americans to work and take care of his family was a Democrat; ergo every President my family voted for was a Democrat. Mom would not talk about it but I bet she even voted for McGovern.
What I am getting at is that it was engrained into me the Kennedys were Democrats and hence of the line of the saviors of the American worker. Because of this familial attitude, an emerging affinity to politics in general and my impressionable youth; I too was a bastion of the Democrat Left with a huge appreciation of (neoconservative) Democratic Party Hawks like Senator Henry (Scoop) Jackson. My admiration of Jackson was to be the evidence of my current Republican Neocon slant in politics.
Nonetheless, from ages twelve (1968) through nineteen (1976 and Carter) I was an altruistic ideologue Leftist.
Then the first President I was eligible to vote for – Jimmy Carter – turned out to be an indecisive idiot. How in the world could a Democrat President manage the American economy into despair and allow America to have the air of a decrepit paper tiger abroad?
The 1980 election campaign approached. And as if Sir Lancelot came on his horse to save the honor of the Democratic Party, Senator Ted Kennedy decided to challenge the incompetent incumbent President Carter. Man as a young Leftist I was drooling. Unfortunately my fellow Democrats did not overwhelmingly share my Kennedy adoration.
Before Senator Kennedy announced his candidacy the opinion polls placed huge favor on Kennedy above the incumbent Carter. Unfortunately as the campaign came into full swing, Carterites were able to use trust issues because of the Chappaquiddick scandal that Senator Kennedy was involved in on July 18, 1969.
Was Ted drunk? Was married Roman Catholic Ted having an affair with Mary Jo Kopechne? Was there a sex act being performed before Ted ran the car into the river? Why did Ted abandon Kopechne in the submerged car swimming to safety and not call for help? Why did Ted wait until the next day to report he was the driver?
All these questions were never answered adequately probably due to big money, political familial patronage and political power in general. Kennedy’s demise to dethroning the incumbent Carter was a “Can you trust this guy?”
And so my last Democratic Party Lancelot bit the Presidential dust.
I was a confused Leftist with the choice between President Carter and Ronald Reagan. Considering my indoctrination and the Reagan Cold War rhetoric he often spoke, I thought a vote for Reagan was a vote to push buttons and launch the nuclear arsenal.
So I voted Libertarian in 1980. Thank GOD President Reagan won the day! I evolved into a Conservative.
If Senator Ted Kennedy had pulled the upset and defeated incumbent President Carter for the Democratic nomination, would I have stayed the Leftist path? As much as I despise Leftist ideology today, I cannot fathom when or if I would have become a Conservative with a President Edward Kennedy.

Below is an essay that began as part of an ongoing dialogue between me and a Commenter that goes by Johnny-O on the Vox Social Network. Johnny-O initiated commenting on a photo of Orly Taitz. The photo was connected to a March 18, 2009 post. I think Johnny-O’s ire pertaining to the now discredited Kenya Birth Certificate. Ironically our dialogue evolved into something far different than Orly Taitz, Obama Legitimacy and the Birth Certificate post. If you wish to view the context of the evolving comments that led to this essay the link is HERE.
GW Bush's policy of a Two-State solution is not something I agreed with either. I felt that was also a sell out.
Bush's Israel/Palestine policy and Obama's Israel/Palestine policy are based on the foreign policy gurus that call themselves (or at least are called) "Realists". It stretches through the both the Republican and Democratic Party. The Realists believe that giving Israel absolute support no longer serves the National Interests of the USA. The Realists did not view Israel's democracy an asset as much as they viewed Israel's military an excellent counter-weight to Soviet influence among primarily American-hating Arab nations. As long as Israel was a superior military power, Soviet military donations and sales to Arab nations hostile to the West were in check.
The paradigm began to change when the Communist regime fell in the old USSR. More Arab nations began to seek American aid. Thus Israel's National Interests began to be seen in a different in comparison to America's National Interests stability in the Middle East. Hence both Democrat and Republican Realists began to view Israel as an emerging liability despite their Democracy. Fortunately there are still a huge amount of American voters that don't have the same view as the Realists; however the Left has actively been propagandizing the "need" for a Palestinian State to bring peace and stability to the Middle East. Jewish Americans (of which 75% - 80% [depending on the exit poll] voted Democrat in the last election) tend to be Leftists and are buying the Obama propaganda America will protect Israel from foreign attack.
The reality is the Realist Obama Administration is viewing a nuclear Iran as ok assuming the psycho-mullahs would not push buttons in a Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) Cold War restraint foreign policy ideology. I don't believe that about Iran. I believe Iran will continue to arm the likes of Hamas and Hezbollah to use a sovereign Palestine as a launching base to further the designs of Jew-hating Muslims (Sunni and Shia) in the Middle East. If the USA indicates it wishes to make nice with Middle Eastern Muslim nations, it will encourage the decision for another attack on Israel as in the days of 1948 - 1973 when invading Arab nations sought the obliteration of Israel's existence.
As an example: Saddam Hussein who was receiving a lot of military support from America because of Iran's belligerence at one time felt he was receiving hidden messages of an OK for Iraq to invade Kuwait and annex the tiny oil Sheikdom into Iraq. Hussein’s thinking was that Kuwaiti oil production could make up the revenue depleted from the 8 yr war with Iran (in which the USA covertly supported Iraq). Saudi hysteria of a psycho-Saddam making military inroads nearly right on the Saudi Peninsula asked for an appeal to America to stop Saddam's adventurism. Who produces more oil? Iraq or Saudi Arabia? Hence Kuwait was saved and a message was sent to the Mullah's of Iran that America can get close to Iran.
So will an American government abandon Israel? Right now I would say no; however the Realist chipping does increase the potential of Israeli abandonment by the USA. It really depends on the Realist v 'Israel is a friend' debate with in the State Dept and the Defense Dept. Right now the Realists seem to be winning.
As to being afraid "to try" giving Obama a chance. I am an American and I hope he has success with undoing an economy that the politics of Dems and GOPs both screwed up. It wasn't all Bush as Obama implies.
As a good Conservative my concern is that America's free market system will become socialized (as in national State management). It might actually be a good temporary quick fix but history shows that State management eventually leads to economic stagnation. If Obama is successful in direct government involvement in major businesses he has to recognize there is time to replace State management with Free Markets that have better Regulations to avoid the same mistakes of allowing bad loans to occur to the degree it could affect the whole economy.
Frankly I do not trust that about the current President. His entire history is an association of Marxists, Black Liberation Socialists and anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian individuals (SA HERE) that believe in an absolute socialized system is America should be in which racial quotas out weigh merit.
I can't trust that.
Below is the Johnny-O comment that inspired this essay.

So, why then did no less a Great World Leader than George W Bush say he was all for a two-state solution for the Israel/Palestinian state question?
Thanx for catching my mispelling of Czechoslavakia, I think yoiu will agree that is a tough one!
And, how do you know what Obama wants to do, when he has never said what he plans to do with such matters? The Jewish councils and organizations in this country seem to think he's a fair man - and chatting up Arabs who are Muslims, even anti-Semetic ones, is NOT the same thing as selling out Israel.
The US is an ally to Israel for one reason and one reason only: They are the only democracy in a regional nest of kingdoms, religious theocracies, and military dictatorships who surround them as enemies. We will always be on Israel's side as long as they keep having free and fair elections (which is more than can be said about us in 2000, btw!), and nothing is gonna change that.
I wish you anti-Obamians would stop making up lies - 'cause that is what they are - for no good reason.
If you want to blame someone for Obama's election to the Presidency, blame W - he and his Neo-Cons and their Evangelical allies have not only all but destroyed the GOP, but made the American People (54% of us, anyway) so disaffected with them that we are willing to try anything or anyone - and make history in the process.
I told you before, genius - I don't know why this is so hard for you to understand - I am no 'Obamaphile' - and he is no 'Obamassiah' - if he lets us all down, his betrayal will be all the more despicable. Believe me, that will set you and me squarely on the same side. But I believe we should give him a chance, just like we did a true interloper, George W Bush.
Why are you afraid to try?
~Johnny
Democrats falsely accuse the GOP of sending Americans to disrupt the President Barack Hussein Obama and/or Democrat townhall meetings. The reality is concerned Americans want to be heard. The further reality is when false accusations from Democrats fail to incite shame; the Left goes to the next step; i.e. to sending goons to beat up concerned Americans.
Many Republicans and definitely the Left are not supporters of Sarah Palin. I am. She represents the best hope for social conservatism to offset the Obama Agenda to transform America into a Secular Humanist nation devoid of its Christian heritage.
Here is an essay I agree with that is pro-Palin:

It looks like if you are an old white guy with white hair and he rubs your Presidential friends the wrong way, then you can get rid of him by defaming his character and lucidity.
That is what it appears that President Barack Hussein Obama did to now unemployed Inspector General Gerald Walpin.
When I first saw FOX and Friends Steve Doocy interview Walpin this morning the story was BHO fired Walpin without a cause. Apparently for this particular job a cause must be given.
When BHO began receiving criticism even from his side of the aisle in Congress he rushed to fabricate a reason.
It is official, now Walpin was fired for being confused and disoriented.
Walpin denies the White House allegation and calls it a total fabrication. This could translate into non-PC talk as “the President is a liar.” If anyone paid attention to BHO’s campaign, one should have known this about his character anyway.
Walpin says the key to his dismissal is that one of his huge supporters in Sacramento, CA was busted using public funds for personal agendas. It saddens me to say that supporter and current mayor of Sacramento is former Seattle Sonic great of the NBA Kevin Johnson. (I’m a Washingtonian by virtue of growing up their.)
I will let FOX News describe the details.
