Polls conducted by Arabs that call themselves Palestinians and polls conducted by Israelis demonstrate that a majority of these Palestine Authority Arabs support terrorism against Israel while the Israeli polls show that a majority of Israelis want to stop further withdrawals from Judea/Samaria (the West Bank).
So someone in the West tell me again how creating a sovereign Palestinian State will bring peace to the Middle East.

Bob Tyrrell writes of the foolishness of Appeasing a people whose reason for existence is to hate Jews, the nation Israel and America.
At the direction of America and the anti-Semitic pressure of the EU, Israel has given and given and has received absolutely ZERO reciprocity.
This is a Western hypocrisy that will end the existence of Israel or inevitably end in an upgrade from the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) to a World War. The stakes will be a defensible Jewish homeland and the threat of the world’s oil reserves that is the current energy life-blood of the globe.

I am re-posting from the blog Sigmund, Carl and Alfred an excellent summary of how the seeds of Jewish hatred were planted between Arabs and the emerging State of Israel.
Here is a clue: the pollination of the seeds of Jewish hatred came from the Third Reich through Haj Amin El Hussein (Grand Mufti of Jerusalem) who cooperated with Hassan Al Banna (Founder of Ikhwan or Muslim Brotherhood) and then passed on to the Mufti’s nephew – Yasser Arafat.

Deja Vu All Over Again, The Mufti And The Palestinian Authority
Posted by SC&A

The attack on the Jewish seminary in Jerusalem was not the first time Palestinian terrorists chose a religious venue.
Recall the Passover Massacre of 2002.
There was attack on a Jewish seminary, in another time. Flashback to 1929:
“At 4:00 pm, an Arab crowd began gathering outside the Hebron Yeshiva and throwing stones through the windows. Only two people were inside, a student and the sexton. Upon being hit, the student tried to leave to find himself facing the Arab crowd, who grabbed him and stabbed him to death… Early the following Saturday morning, a crowd armed with staves and axes appeared in the streets and killed two Jewish boys, one stoned to death and the other stabbed…some of the remaining rioters, shouting “on to the Ghetto…”
One third of the killed were students of the Hebron yeshiva…
On September 1, Sir John Chancellor [publicly] condemned:-
‘the atrocious acts committed by bodies of ruthless and bloodthirsty evildoers… murders perpetrated upon defenseless members of the Jewish population… accompanied by acts of unspeakable savagery.’
High Commissioner Chancellor had more to say. From a letter to his son:
I do not think history records many worse horrors in the last few hundred years.
I am so tired and disgusted with this country and everything concerned with it that I only want to leave it as soon as possible.
The principle instigator was Haj Amin El Hussein. The Mufti was certainly known by the company he kept;
November 2, 1943 Himmler’s telegram to Mufti (see image):
‘To the Grand Mufti: The National Socialist movement of Greater Germany has, since its inception, inscribed upon its flag the fight against the world Jewry. It has therefore followed with particular sympathy the struggle of freedom-loving Arabs, especially in Palestine, against Jewish interlopers. In the recognition of this enemy and of the common struggle against it lies the firm foundation of the natural alliance that exists between the National Socialist Greater Germany and the freedom-loving Muslims of the whole world. In this spirit I am sending you on the anniversary of the infamous Balfour declaration my hearty greetings and wishes for the successful pursuit of your struggle until the final victory.’ Reichsfuehrer S.S. Heinrich Himmler
…During the Nuremberg Trials, Eichmann’s deputy Dieter Wisliceny testified that The Mufti was one of the initiators of the extermination of European Jewry and a collaborator and adviser of Eichmann and Himmler in the initiation of the Final Solution.
For more see Answering Islam The Nazi Islam Connection.
Once in Berlin, the Mufti received an enthusiastic reception by the “Islamische Zentralinstitut” and the whole Islamic community of Germany, which welcomed him as the “Führer of the Arabic world.” In an introductory speech, he called the Jews the “most fierce enemies of the Muslims” and an “ever corruptive element” in the world. Husseini soon became an honored guest of the Nazi leadership and met on several occasions with Hitler. He personally lobbied the Führer against the plan to let Jews leave Hungary, fearing they would immigrate to Palestine. He also strongly intervened when Adolf Eichman tried to cut a deal with the British government to exchange German POWs for 5000 Jewish children who also could have fled to Palestine. The Mufti’s protests with the SS were successful, as the children were sent to death camps in Poland instead. One German officer noted in his journals that the Mufti would liked to have seen the Jews “preferably all killed.” On a visit to Auschwitz, he reportedly admonished the guards running the gas chambers to work more diligently. Throughout the war, he appeared regularly on German radio broadcasts to the Middle East, preaching his pro-Nazi, anti-Semitic message to the Arab masses back home [emp-SC&A]
To show gratitude towards his hosts, in 1943 the Mufti travelled several times to Bosnia, where on orders of the SS he recruited the notorious “Hanjar troopers,” a special Bosnian Waffen SS company which slaugh-tered 90% of Bosnia’s Jews and burned countless Serbian churches and villages. These Bosnian Muslim recruits rapidly found favor with SS chief Heinrich Himmler, who established a special Mullah Military school in Dresden.
The only condition the Mufti set for his help was that after Hitler won the war, the entire Jewish population in Palestine should be liquidated. After the war, Husseini fled to Switzerland and from there escaped via France to Cairo, were he was warmly received. The Mufti used funds received earlier from the Hilter regime to finance the Nazi-inspired Arab Liberation Army that terrorized Jews in Palestine…
After the war, a member of Young Egypt named Gamal Abdul Nasser was among the officers who led the July 1952 revolution in Egypt. Their first act – following in Hitler’s footsteps – was to outlaw all other parties. Nasser’s Egypt became a safe haven for Nazi war criminals, among them the SS General in charge of the murder of Ukrainian Jewry; he became Nasser’s bodyguard and close comrade. Alois Brunner, another senior Nazi war criminal, found shelter in Damascus, where he served for many years as senior adviser to the Syrian general staff and still resides today.
Sami al-Joundi, one of the founders of the ruling Syrian Ba’ath Party, recalls: “We were racists. We admired the Nazis. We were immersed in reading Nazi literature and books… We were the first who thought of a translation of Mein Kampf. Anyone who lived in Damascus at that time was witness to the Arab inclination toward Nazism…” [emp-SC&A]
The PLO and notably Arafat himself do not make a secret of their source of inspiration. The Grand Mufti el-Husseini is venerated as a hero by the PLO. It should be noted, that the PLO’s top figure in east Jerusalem today, Faisal Husseini, is the grandson to the Führer’s Mufti. Arafat also considers the Grand Mufti a respected educator and leader, and in 1985 declared it an honor to follow in his footsteps. Little wonder. In 1951, a close relative of the Mufti named Rahman Abdul Rauf el-Qudwa el-Husseini matriculated to the University of Cairo. The student decided to conceal his true identity and enlisted as “Yasser Arafat.”
In an environment where Holocaust denial and ‘We’ll finish what Hitler started‘ is a part of the consciousness of every Palestinian, is the Hamas response to yesterday’s massacre really a surprise?
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday condemned a shooting attack in Jerusalem that killed at least eight people.
“President Mahmoud Abbas condemns the attack in Jerusalem that claimed the lives of many Israelis and he reiterated his condemnation of all attacks that target civilians, whether they are Palestinians or Israelis,” said Abbas aide Saeb Erekat.
Deja vu, all over again:
While in English language media, the Palestinian Authority condemned the attack saying “The leadership strongly denounces Netanya operation against Israeli civilians and decides to prosecute those involved or responsible,”[3] in Arabic it glorified the “shahid” on January 21, 2003, the official PA daily newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida published a report saying “the Tulkarm Shahids Memorial Soccer Championship tournament of the Shahid Abd Al-Baset Odeh began with the participation of seven top teams, named after Shahids who gave their lives to redeem the homeland. Isam, the brother of the Shahid, will distribute the trophies.” [4]
Plus ca change…

The incompetence of Prime Minister Olmert to manage the government of Israel is appalling. Combine this with the Bush Administration intense pressure on Olmert to agree to create a Palestinian-Arab State managed by a gang of greedy turf minded terrorist thugs and you will have more violence not less.
There is only way for a Palestinian State to exist and that is for fellow Arabs to actually step in and do a Donald Trump to the fractured Islamist thugs and say, “YOU’RE FIRED!”
The only way for there to be Middle East peace is Arab nations like Jordan and Egypt to join Israel and cooperate in the front of the World’s eyes and remove the incendiary Palestinian murderous thugs.
Without major Arab cooperation the Bush Administration and Ehud Olmert are setting the Jews of Israel for a Wahhabi-Muslim Brotherhood-Syrian-Iranian dream come true: The eradication of the existence of the Land Israel.
Read Carolyn Glick’s insight on this related to Bush and Rice forcing the incompetent dolt Olmert to decease the Gaza Offensive even though CAIR’s pals the Hamas terrorists continuously sends rockets into Israeli civilian cities.

Yasser Abed Rabbo is a top aide of Palestine Authority terrorist President Mahmoud Abbas. He has recently quipped that Palestinians are better than the Muslims of Kosovo which just became a recognized sovereign nation in the Balkans area of Europe. Rabbo is reported as saying the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians should unilaterally declare their independence as well.
The BBC News story I read this at made sure to use all the pro-Arab/Palestine words such as “occupied.” The story is also slanted to promote sympathy for the cough victimized Arabs that call themselves Palestinians.
In case anyone was wondering there was no such thing as a land called Palestine after 1948. That year Israel declared independence and various Arab nations (notably Egypt, Syria and (then) Transjordan (now) Jordan) invaded the new independent nation of Israel. The land that was supposed to be a Palestinian State for Arabs became a part of the sovereign Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In 1967 Jordan was part of a greater Arab plan preparing to invade and dismantle Israel. The obvious troop movements indicated the imminent invasion was on the way. Israel chose not to be a victim and simply preemptively attacked Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Jordan. What became known as the Six Day War became a complete victory for Israel occupying the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt, the Golan Heights from Syria and most importantly the uniting of a divided Jerusalem and what the West calls the West Bank and Israel calls Judea and Samaria.
The land won from aggressor Jordan has been considered part of traditional Jewish land from their historical perspective. It was land acquired by right of victory of Jordan. The land was not taken from Palestinians, it was taken from Jordan. The holy city Jerusalem was finally united under Jewish sovereignty.
Now here is the thing: Rabbo says the Palestine Authority should unilaterally declare a sovereign nation and call it Palestine just as Kosovo did. Kosovo was a province of Serbia of which 90% of the primary ethnic group is Albanians and over 70% of the Kosovo population is Muslim. Serbia did not want to allow Kosovo independence; however American support became the leading factor toward Kosovo independence.
Rabbo has the view if Muslim Kosovo gained sovereign independence from a nation which did not wish to allow it to happen, then the global powers of America and the EU should guarantee a similar sovereignty to a Palestine State.
You know what? I don’t think that is such a bad idea. Probably not in the same way as the PA/PLO leadership views it; however I think Palestine declaring itself a nation unilaterally with the land the currently possess is not a bad idea.
Here is my scenario. Israel has all of Jerusalem. A unilateral declaration of independence will not change that. Unless Israel and Palestine work out an economic and resource package, Palestine would be on their own to figure that out. Their Arab neighbors should step up to the plate for that anyway.
Here is my thinking of a probable outcome of Palestinian independence. The Palestinians would acquire weapons from Russia or China or worse – from North Korea. The thugs that are leaders in Palestine will inspire their constituency to have animosity toward Israel. I suspect a combined Palestine, Syria and Hezbollah (nation within a nation) will do something foolish because of the results of the last Israel VS Hezbollah war in Lebanon. Then Israel dismantles the new Palestinian State, maybe even chasing the ding dongs that supported the thug Palestinian government into Jordan or Syria.
Time will tell.
Jeff Jacoby writes of the disappointing Bush. With the Secretary of State as the voice piece, President Bush is abandoning a principle of the Bush Doctrine pertaining to terrorism.
Regardless of constant terrorism by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al Aksa Brigade and other Islamofascist terrorists that call themselves Palestinians; President Bush is determined to create a sovereign nation called Palestine.
National Interests drive domestic and foreign policies of all nations. What do you think a Palestinian State’s primary National Interest would be?
If you thought that National Interest was to live in perpetual peace with Israel cooperating with the Israeli economy to strengthen the infrastructure of a novice Palestinian State, you would be an idiot.
The National Interest of a Palestinian State will be the same as the prime directive of the Arab terrorists since the Arab League set up the refugees they created as a stateless people: none other than the complete and utter destruction of Israel and the Jews that live in the Land of Israel.
And guess what? Part of the Bush dhimmitude to Arab wishes is for Israel to recede to the vulnerable borders that existed between Israel’s creation in 1948 through 1967 prior to one of the Arab invasions to drive the Jews into the sea. The penalty for that Arab invasion was the complete union of Jerusalem under Israeli authority and the acquisition of land Biblically part of Israel and Judaism.
That border recession is like stamping a big sign on an Israeli map that says, “INVADE ME.”
Evidently the Bush Administration is willing to sacrifice Israeli security to drum up Arab friends to stand with him of the true threat of rogue Iranian militancy not to mention Iran being the biggest supporter of transnational terrorist organizations committed to a Jewish holocaust.
So you see President Bush is playing a brinksmanship game between Arabs and Iranians gambling on checking Iran and offering a Palestinian State as a gift for Arab help to check Iran. I am guessing the thinking is that Iran is the current threat to the flow of oil thus affecting our National Interests so President Bush is operating in the NOW of what is left of his term of Office and let the next President be responsible for the existence of Israel.
The problem with that thinking there is a huge chance that Appeasement minded Democrats may win the Presidency in 2008 and allow Israel to be dissolved by American inaction. Did I say “dissolved?” I meant butchered.
The butchering lay in that Bush has been selling weapons to Arabs that has nearly erased Israel’s qualitative military edge (QME) in superior weapons to potential hostile neighbors.
You can think of the QME in this way. Israel had such a difficult time in punishing Hezbollah for missile launches and soldier kidnapping, that many Middle Eastern nations perceived the first Arab victory and the first Israeli loss in battle since their 1948 Statehood. This was accomplished with better training thanks to Iran more than superior weapons.
Now check this out! America has been selling high tech weaponry to perceived American Arab friends Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt. The Saudi’s have never formerly recognized Israel as State. Although Jordan and Egypt have diplomatic relations with Israel they have been involved in every major invasion of Israel since 1948. These Arab nations have benefitted from American training and high tech weapons.
What do you think will happen if Bush succeeds in creating a Palestinian State with Arab allies that have American military training and American high tech weapons?
Rachel Neuwirth writes of the absurd demand of the Arab “Right of Return” to homes in Israel proper which were abandoned during the 1948 War in which Arabs attempted to drive Jews into the sea and end Israel before it tangibly become a sovereign nation. Of course that failed and with the odds against the Jews, Israel was victorious. That was the hand of God, i.e. the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; not the god of Mohammed and the lineage he extrapolates from Abraham and Ishmael as told by an angel of light (deception or psychosis) known as Gabriel.
I am glad that Neuwirth has extrapolated the truth of the Arab flight out of Israel, because until this essay the only bold scenario I have read is from the much maligned Masada 2000 website. (It is maligned because of an extremism of a past hit list against anti-Zionist sources.) Regardless of the extremism of the website in anger, its history is spot on. Neuwirth provides a moderate voice (though obviously slanted toward Israel) that enumerates the facts the contradict Arab and Palestinian lies.
The pure fact of the matter the aggressors were expelled from Israel, it was not some sort of ethnic cleansing as Arabs that call themselves Palestinians would have Western suckers believe. Indeed I believe the Arab refugees dubbed Palestinians should be forced out of the West Bank and Gaza and the land merged into sovereign Israel. Let the Arab nations deal with the problem they created in 1948 by repatriating Arabs that were encouraged to flee under the false assumption the heavy odds of superior Arab numbers would obliterate Jews and Israel.
This excerpt is from the One Jerusalem blog:
In an interview before President Bush's trip to Israel, Prime Minister Olmert stated that Israel must come to terms with dividing Jerusalem and giving up more land in Judea and Samaria.
Olmert's defeatist attitude is the clearest indication that he envisions Israel continuing the process of giving up precious land even though this tactic has only succeeded in bringing Israel's enemies closer to Israel's heartland.
Olmert's mindset is defeatist and will further endanger the people of Israel.
One Jerusalem’s conclusion is based on a Jerusalem Post article.
The article has Olmert openly musing that it is not reality to keep Jerusalem and discharge control of (what the West calls) the West Bank. Olmert’s reasoning is based on Liberal thinking.
Olmert believes for there to be a viable Jewish State it must create a viable Arab state. The alternative being keeping control of the West Bank and Gaza and making the Mohammedan Arabs second class citizens as they demographically grow to out number people of a Jewish heritage (i.e. religious, secular or atheistic) in a one nation situation. That is the Western Left’s current accusation against Israel.
Another alternative Olmert finds unacceptable is to have one nation granting full citizenship to Mohammedan Arabs. Olmert finds this unacceptable because then the Jewishness of Israel (Eretz Israel) would be submerged again in demographics; i.e. the Mohammedan Arab population would be the majority population in a Western style democracy that would give Mohammedans the legal ability to end a Jewish Israel and eject the name “Israel” and replace it with Palestine. In essence this “Palestine” would be a Mohammedan land and Sharia Law would relegate Jews to second class citizens in their own land.
So for Olmert the only alternative to keep Eretz Israel (the Land Israel) is to disengage into a two State solution without a right of return for the Mohammedan Arabs that fled in 1948 believing that invading Arabs would eradicate Jews and restore them to their homes. At least Olmert is against the so-called “Right of Return.”
There is another solution that would be beneficial to Israel yet would bring an international uproar from the West and threats of war from Arab nations. That solution is based on what Egypt, Jordan and Syria as well as the unanimous vote of then Arab League: Create Arab refugees rather than repatriate them into the various losing Arab invaders thus creating a perpetual reason to war and find a way to terminate the Land of Israel.
Israel could unilaterally uproot the refugees that call themselves Palestinians by the brainwashing of their fellow Arabs and move them to a weak nation that could not stop such an uprooting. That nation is the current Lebanon. In justice the nations that should accept the full citizenship of the Arab refugees are the principle invading nations that created them: Egypt, Jordan and Syria. You know that is not going to happen because unofficially that would be a threat to the ruling elites of those nations and officially it would be branded as Israeli aggression against Arabs. Indeed the father of the current King of Jordan ejected the military wing of the Palestine Liberation Organization out of fear it would depose the Hashemite Royal Family. It was an actual battle between Arab entities for control of land in Jordan.
There are other alternatives for Olmert to take to keep Jerusalem (the city of David) as one under Jewish/Israeli rule.
The splitting up of Israel to accommodate Mohammedan Arabs will lead to another war to eradicate Israel anyway. Olmert (or another tough minded Prime Minister) just needs the cajones to move the Arabs out as King Hussein of Jordan did in 1970.
I just came across a classic example of Liberal lying this time relating to the Israeli versus Arabs that call themselves Palestinians conflict.
The pro-Arab Liberal in question is Daniel Levy. Levy was having a kind of forum style debate with anti-Jihadist David Frum on bloggingheads.tv a day after the fruitless (for Israel anyway) Annapolis Peace Conference.
Daniel Levy is a Senior Fellow of the New American Foundation (NAF) that bills itself as neither Left nor Right but a Think Tank for ideas and solutions. The introduction to the snippets of the bloggingheads debate by the Middle East Forum (MEF) says the NAF “advertises” itself as a Center-Left organization. The somewhat maligned but easily accessible Wikipedia posts that the NAF has board members that include the Left and the Right.
The thing is Levy is considered a man of reputable scholarship; nonetheless at the bloggingheads debate between Levy and Frum, Levy is exposed as a Liberal lying fact manipulating pro-Arab anti-Israeli.

Rewriting History
Factchecking Levy
by Noah Pollak
National Review Online
December 7, 2007
Daniel Levy has of late become one of the most sought-after leftist commentators on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and one of the most frequently quoted and interviewed pundits on the subject in the mainstream press. His name regularly appears in news stories in the New York Times and Washington Post, among other papers. Cultivating an image of expertise and sobriety, he is a senior fellow at the New America Foundation, which advertises itself as a center-left source of serious analysis. The day after Annapolis, he debated David Frum for 40 minutes on bloggingheads.tv, the video of which was posted at the end of last week and which has now been posted on the New York Times's website.
Levy's performance was astonishing. His preferred tactic was to repeatedly digress from the debate in order to lecture Frum on what he claimed to be the "historic context" of the conflict; his appearance on Bloggingheads is one of the most misleading performances I've ever seen on the conflict from a putatively serious person. This is a long fact-check, but I think it's a necessary one.
Yasser Arafat's Involvement in the Intifada
