Barack Obama is whining in his cheese because Senator McCain and President Bush have labeled Obama an appeaser.
Yeah … Obama’s concept of winning a war is having multilateral talks with rogue nations and Islamist terrorists to give them what they want while the U.S. of A. skips town.
Sounds like appeasement to me!
Then Obama gets his back all hunched up and says if they want to debate about protecting America he is ready for that one because Bush’s policies have divided America and the President and his supporters – like McCain – have a lot to answer for.
What a load of Dem dung: It is the Dems and the Leftist MSM that have divided America with distorted reports while not verbally attacking America’s enemies for attacking America on our homeland and abroad.
Islamofascist terrorism has attacked American assets through Republican and Democratic Presidencies. Do you think America should lie down after invading Afghanistan just because al Qaeda and its closest regional ally the Taliban colluded on the final straw that awakened a President to not look the other way about the existence of Islamist rogue nations and terrorists?
No the Democrats (and Obama is one of them) saw an opportunity to bring down a Presidency that was reversing Left Wing social engineering by using a rough stretch in the GWOT as a center piece. That is not only appeasement it is treacherous politics as far as I am concerned.
The Dems are further using the Leftist MSM in quoting McCain to allude that sooner or later America will have to deal with Hamas, while claiming that Obama would never negotiate with the terrorist organization Hamas.
Hmm … Let’s think about that before people go off and agree with the Dhimmicrats that McCain is wading in hypocrisy. I suspect McCain’s view of negotiation would be completely different than a Dhimmicrat version of negotiation.
I suspect the Dhimmicrats would fall in line with the current Bush Administration of giving everything but the proverbial kitchen sink to Hamas and Fatah (both are equally terrorists) believing that would secure peace in the Middle East between Mohammedan nations and Israel.
When comes to the time to “deal” with Hamas it should be more like this: You will recognize Israel’s existence and quit trying to bring a second Jewish Holocaust or American and Israeli troops will march through Gaza to destroy Hamas and its so-called civilian supporters.
Now that is what I call negotiation. AND that is why Hamas has publicly endorsed Obama for President in America.
I am looking forward to that debate with between Obama and McCain so I can watch Obama squirm when McCain uses reality to slap Democratic Party half-truths down Obama’s throat.
The Mainstream Media (MSM) is all in a blather (and so also Barack Hussein Obama) over a comment manipulated by the MSM of John McCain.
If you have not heard, the MSM is painting a picture that McCain said Hamas endorses Obama for President. Obama has tried to exploit this sound byte by being outraged that his Campaign receives the endorsement of the Murdering Muslim terrorist organization known as Hamas.
The reality is McCain was quoting a Hamas spokesman who indeed said Hamas preferred Obama over McCain for President of the United States.
Of course the Obama Campaign is going to reject such support as he has – uh – rejected and denounced racist Jeremiah Wright who Obama claims was his mentor and Pastor for over TWENTY YEARS. It would be political suicide to openly even hint publicly that Hamas has a case for destroying Jews and Israel off the planet earth.
After twenty years of association with Jeremiah Wright and a former association of Jew hating Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam I wonder what Obama privately believes.
Anyway, McCain’s point should be noticed. There must be a reason why Hamas fears a McCain Presidency and embraces an Obama Presidency.
Keep that in the back of your mind as you read this report from WorldNetDaily.com.
Now I know John Kerry is not in the Presidential hunt in 2008; however when I read an interview of a fellow captive with John McCain in North Vietnam’s torture prison camp known as Hanoi Hilton, I immediately thought of the difference of what a Dem thinks of decorated hero and what real Americans think decorated heroes are.
Supporters of Kerry’s war record are those that directly served on his boat and the reports given and written by Kerry himself in which top brass read then awarded citations of valor and medals. So there are documented facts yet different interpretations of those facts exist. There is a mystery of Kerry’s discharge from the Navy itself. The thing is serious some dispute of the validity of the documentation. So even after the long delay of Kerry allowing his war record to be released, doubters of Kerry’s war record have a good foundation to doubt. Besides a true American hero does not trash his fellow military comrades directly after leaving the Service if he indeed performed the acts the disputable documentation portrays.
It is no wonder that Kerry is part of the cut-n-run crowd which is actually a disappointing huge amount of people, not just Democratic Party politicians.
So I have taken one more shot at Senator Kerry for this reason. There is man running for President in 2008 who also is Vietnam Vet and there is little mystery of his heroism during the war or after. That candidate is Republican John McCain.
There are Leftists that are trying to debunk McCain’s war record attempting to do a Left Wing version of Swift Boating. However there is little mystery in facts and the conclusions that follow as with John Kerry. After the Vietnam War, McCain did NOT jump on the “I HATE AMERICA” Left Wing gravy train to infamy as Kerry did.
I found this website that is blatantly stinging toward John McCain record as a POW throwing doubt on the veracity of McCain’s medals. It reads like the words of vets in the John Kerry mold; i.e. veterans that hate their nation and their Service. Then the site links to another person who offers his negative opinion.
The site unwittingly mentions that Colonel George “Bud” Day nursed McCain back to health after being taken as a POW.
Oops! Bud Day does NOT corroborate the website’s disdain for McCain’s heroism. READ HERE. (McCain’s military records – HERE.)
Huckabee still has a strategy to win the Republican nomination. Huckabee’s strategy is to pick up enough delegates to keep McCain from the magic number of a first ballot nomination – 1,191.
Even if McCain leads in the delegate count, if it is less than 1,191 then the Republican Convention goes into extra ballots.
Huckabee’s new strategy is totally contingent on being successful in Texas and Ohio.

The Global War on Terror (GWOT) and terminating transnational terrorists such as al-Qaeda should be the primary focus of the next President of the United States.
Obama and Clinton either offer sweet slogans to woo the youth or highly socialized programs that are utopian and sound good yet essentially will cost the taxpayers a bundle. The fringe Democrats as a whole wish to continue a transformation of America into Secular Humanism in which America’s Christian heritage is proclaimed archaic and alternative lifestyles are validated as morally relative. Thus the homosexuals will call Christians hate mongers (the ones that are Scripture oriented anyway), the abortion mills will prosper, all mottos of God related to government will be erased (e.g. In God We Trust), the southern borders WILL be opened to Hispanics to make America a two culture nation and probably more I have missed.
Obama and Clinton’s biggest card to get elected is to prove that American lives are being wasted in a war that is lost. The Mainstream Media (MSM) being left oriented runs propaganda to brainwash the American public that the GWOT on terror being fought in Iraq is lost. The facts are very much to the opposite of the propaganda.
In fact Iraqi politicians are saying the same thing that Conservatives that want to WIN the GWOT are saying; viz. that an American pull-out would cause a regional instability that would lead to a genocidal blood bath in which transnational terrorists such as al-Qaeda would proclaim themselves the little spark that defeated the most powerful nation in the world – the Great Satan America.
This would lead to a rallying cry for more terrorist activities in the West because Islamist terrorists are not merely in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Pakistan, the Palestinian side of Israel or wherever to merely give America a black-eye. NO! The rallying cry would resound to the past of Mohammedanism founder Mohammed: it is a vision to take the Theo-political cult globally and force world submission to Allah and its harsh Sharia Law.
This is a vision to ultimately terminate Western variations of Democracy and civil rights and replace them with Mohammedan supremacist thinking.
I found a blog post at Truth in Conviction by J. Grant Swank, Jr. I do not agree with everything Swank writes, particularly in this article. However Swank places the GWOT in perspective and what would happen if Obama or Hillary won the White House AND why McCain should be the man in the White House. Swank seems to insinuate a belief that Obama will win the White House to America’s detriment. Swank also insinuates that McCain is the best man to be in the White House to win the GWOT; however because of his age and lack of charismatic connection to younger voters, McCain will ultimately lose to Obama.
Read Swank’s post entitled “OBAMA / CLINTON INVITE AL QAEDA US-TAKE OVER.” For me the post is an example as to why Conservatives need to get over the negative issues McCain presents and unite behind him to keep the fringe Dems out of the White House.
Here is an example of America’s future with a fringe Democratic Party President. Obama wants to solve Global Poverty on the American tax payer which incidentally may have United Nations oversight with those taxes collected for poverty outside the USA. I am telling you Conservatives that McCain is a much better choice than to allow this to occur.

Republicans have come to a cross road in which serious voting thoughts must be weighed. Senator McCain has the math on his side and there is no way Huckabee will win the nomination except by a true supernatural act of God in the realm of miracles.
Now I am a Christian that believes God works miracles today as much as in Old Testament and New Testament days; however I believe the reality of the situation is that Huckabee is a politician. Huckabee’s acquisition of delegates could make McCain’s margin of victory slim.
Huckabee may be destined to lose the nomination however the more delegates he acquires the more power and influence he will have at the Republican Convention. The kind of influence that could broker a deal to Huckabee's advantage with Republican unanimity with Social Conservatives as myself with McCain moderates, maverick and RINO Republicans. Huckabee may be able to acquire a Veep nomination or a Cabinet Post or influence the choosing of another Veep nomination.
Huckabee’s influence with Social Conservatives is obvious; however fiscal and America First Conservatives dislike Huckabee as much as they dislike McCain. Huckabee had a reputation of taxation and illegal alien sanctuary in Arkansas. McCain has a black mark with the questionably Constitutional McCain/Feingold Legislation and illegal alien amnesty.
I have come to the conclusion that single issues have splintered Conservatives because the Candidates that could appeal to multiple issues (like my man Fred) have been unwisely dispatched by short sighted voters of the moment failing to see the big picture of which the Republicans are in now. Since the Conservative voters screwed up early, it is time to get over the single issue position the voters have gotten themselves into.
It is cool that Huckabee is making a stand of influence; I don’t have a problem with that.
The big thing for Conservative voters is not repeat the screw-up of earlier Primaries and Caucuses. Pundits like Coulter and Rush (who I like by the way) must think of the long road at this moment. Sure write their misgivings about McCain but get over those misgivings and think of the one issue that McCain is reputed to be effective.
That issue is the Global War on Terror (GWOT). I am betting McCain will be a one term President if he wins in November. I also suspect McCain will be too occupied in cleaning up the GWOT to accomplish anything Social Conservatives fear. And during the GWOT McCain will have to listen to the America First (anti-illegal alien crowd) to activate political support for the agenda on the GWOT.
I am saying to my fellow Conservatives – GET OVER IT!
Let us unite to keep the fringe Democrats gaining power. The fringe Democrats WILL do that which Social Conservatives fear. The fringe Democrats will be pro-illegal alien and matriculate a cheap American citizenship or Entitlements to undeserving non-citizens. So if you do not vote for McCain for these reasons, you will guarantee Social Liberalism and a special status for illegal aliens by voting against McCain.
It is time to think of November 2008 and Republican unity to keep the fringe Democrats OUT. Conservatives live and regroup for another day. That day will more than likely be 2012 with what I believe to be a one term President if McCain is elect in 2008.
I like what Oliver North has to say about McCain and his essay Decision Ti me for Republicans moved me to think of Republican unity and to rally voters to turn out for McCain. Currently the Democrats are kicking Republican butts in voter turn out. Republican divisiveness and the current Democratic voter turn-out will see a fringe Democrat as President in 2008. I am not willing to gamble on a one term Democratic Party President. Bill Clinton was evil incarnate to Conservatives and was actually Impeached, yet Slick Willie completed two full terms as President with a delusionaly high favorability rating.
My fellow Republicans of all issues DO NOT RISK IT!
Super Tuesday has come and gone. The waters are a little less muddy but they are still muddy.
For the Democrats Hillary asserted herself as a front runner however by no means eliminated Obama from nipping at her feet.
For the Republicans the once down for the count McCain has beat the ten-count to be ahead in points. Romney had a surprisingly disappointing showing and Huckabee had a surprisingly strong showing; however that combination seems to have cancelled each other out giving the old man McCain new vigor toward a nomination win.
In politics things can change but it appears Huck's strong show may embolden him to go all the way through the primary process even if it is a loosing effort in the hope that miracles will continue to boost him toward an unlikely nomination.
Romney was seriously hurt by Super Tuesday. He has the money to stay in the race; however at this point the businessman needs to calculate the profit and loss and decide on a strategy that could make him a king maker or part of the winning nominee's team in some influential manner. Of course as I have said, politics change. Any unforeseen occurrence could rearrange the fortunes of the Republicans top three candidates at any moment.
Which Republican do I support? I just cannot come up with a clear choice; however I do not suffer from a McCain Derangement Syndrome that might lead to a certain Democratic Party victory. A Dem victory although expected is not a shoe-in and is abhorrent to me.
I cannot vote for a Mormon to win the nomination because of my religious beliefs; however I will vote for a Mormon over a Democrat any day of the week especially in November 2008.
I like Huck’s self-proclaimed Social Conservatism and his stand of not being ashamed to be a Christian; however there are elements of taxation and immigration that bother me about Huck. Still I will vote Huckabee in November above any Democrat nominated. The Democrats are simply to fringe to the Left and although I know they think they are helping Americans by denigrating military confrontation with Islamofascists they are really emboldening the Islamofascists with greater confidence to continue acts of terrorism that could once again reach the land of Purple Mountain’s Majesty.
I’ll see at the Republican Convention who I will ultimately vote for in November. And may all Republicans set aside their differences and stand united behind whoever that winner is. The Democratic Party platform of “Change” is a change to the Left and that will not be good for America.
Look today is Super Tuesday. Since Fred Thompson dropped out because of a lack of support from those who should have supported the only true Conservative in the Republican race, I have been in a disappointing funk as to who I should support.
Frankly all the remaining candidates have just as many knocks as plusses and I truly do not know who the best is.
Although McCain has a history of teaming up with Leftists, he does have a decent Senatorial voting record on Conservative causes. The many pundits that are hysterical about McCain being the front runner as of this date are way overboard on the venom if you look at McCain in balance. Some pro-McCain Republicans have called this McCain Derangement Syndrome.
Romney has a solid record as an administrative person in the private sector and in government as the Governor of Massachusetts. However as a politician he has had to comply with a mostly liberal voter constituency in the State of Massachusetts thus he has made some politically social stands that are abhorrent to the social Conservative; viz. on abortion and homosexual rights. Being a politician and seeking to gratify a larger constituency – viz. the entire USA. This has given him the appearance of a flip flopper as Romney has recanted on some of his gubernatorial stands. The issue for me about Romney though is his religious faith. Yeah I know, to the secularist it sounds bigoted; however I am a Bible believing Christian that has always viewed Mormon theology as not even close to Christian basic theology that even Catholics, Protestants and Eastern Orthodox Christians agree on. Saying all that, if Romney was to pull out the Republican nomination, I would vote for him. Any Republican is way better that than the obviously Socially Left moral relativists who continue a Secular Humanist transformation of American society.
Then there is Mike Huckabee. At this stage Huckabee probably does not have enough money to make his case to the American people. Ironically Conservatives criticize Huckabee for being fiscally Leftist and acknowledge his Social Conservatism. Just today I ran into a website that is critical of Huckabee’s potential connection to “Reconstructionist Christianity.” The Reconstructionists (aka Dominionists) believe the Law of the land in America should be closer to that of Old Testament laws (bad news since Christ redeemed Believers from the curse of the Law in the Old Testament) than the Bill of Rights in the U.S. Constitution. That is the knock; however from actual readings of Rushdoony’s (father of Reconstructionism) writings, he appears to be more of an advocate of inserting Christian principles into the Constitution rather than abolishing the Constitution of or the Bill of Rights. One other Huckabee gaffe was a December 30, 2007 interview with Leftist Tim Russert in which Huckabee is caught saying homosexuality is a matter of personal choice. Of course anti-Huckabee people wanted to make the Christian Right aware that Huckabee might not be as Socially Conservative as he proclaims.
I call it a gaffe because what the anti-Huckabee people fail to point out is Huckabee’s explanation of his “homosexual statement.”
Although Huckabee asked Russert to understand that "when a Christian speaks of sin, a Christian says all of us are sinners," he asserted that "the perfection of God is seen in a marriage in which one man, one woman live together as a couple committed to each other as life partners."
So here’s the thing. I am voting Republican in 2008 for whoever wins the nomination. For me there is no clear cut choice. However if I was pinned down on who to vote for today, I would lean toward Christian Social Conservatism and that would be Mike Huckabee.
Here is a good clip for a Christian to vote for Huckabee:

I owe a hat tip to the information to Jim Phelan.
I believe Senator McCain would be an awesome leader to guide America toward a victorious resolution on the Global War on Terror (GWOT); however my enthusiasm stops there.
I am deeply invested on turning social issues in America away from a Left Secular Humanist slant back to a Conservative Christian Values slant.
John McCain has consistently bucked Christian Values as a foundation for a standard of life in America and sided with Secular Humanism.
Also McCain is invested in limiting free speech during a period of time just prior to an election. That is the legacy of McCain/Feingold. Thanks to the diligence of the Wisconsin Right to Life organization the Supreme Court ruled in their favor in June 2007, grassroots broadcast advertisements are allowed during the election prohibition period specified in McCain/Feingold; however it still applies to corporate entities and Unions. The design of McCain/Feingold is to squelch criticism of political candidates over broadcast waves during a period of time prior to an election.
There is an organization that is exposing both Mitt Romney’s and John McCain’s past voting record as being Socially Liberal. Both McCain and Romney are running campaign advertisements proclaiming that they are Conservatives. RoeGone.org has exposed that does not line with past voting records in a series posts.
ChristianNewsWire reports that RoeGone.org is beginning to run ads exposing McCain’s leanings toward Left Slanted Social Issues. Left Social Issues is an agenda that is nearly had success in transforming America into a society that accepts hedonistic social relativistic moral values as the norm. For my point of view that is reprehensible.
The femme fatal of the Conservative Right Ann Coulter has come out and said she would vote for Hillary before she would vote for McCain. Now that is a harsh assessment from a gal I love to read. Coulter seems to be a Romney person in the sense that he is the best (her opinion) of the Republican front runners. Coulter also has venom for Huckabee who has the appearance of a Social Conservative but a fiscal Liberal. Huckabee’s biggest black mark is inexperience in foreign affairs at a time when America needs a leader to stand up and buck conventional wisdom and aggressively confront Islamist terrorism around the globe.
Who is the current candidate I am leaning toward? Frankly I waver daily back and forth between McCain and Huckabee. Coulter would be a fool to campaign for a Leftie like Hillary even if she is more moderate than McCain of which I do not agree.
I like Huckabee now purely because he is a Conservative Christian on Social Issues; however the Global War on Terror is the first item of business that needs addressed for America. There might be the problem of electability for Huckabee too. The Lefties will hammer on the false concept of “Separation of Church and State” to influence deceived voters that a vote for Huckabee is an endorsement of government supported religion. This is a concept that is not looked fondly upon by the Left or the Right in America.
So once again I am back to committing myself to whoever wins the Republican nomination and pray the Hand of God is in the choice.
