AGAIN! Iran Threatens Reprisal if Nuke Program Attacked

I utilize an InJesus Group known as Prophecy Update frequently as a source of information. Prophecy Update searches for news around the world from secular and Christian sources and puts together a daily report which relates to End Times Prophecy and sends it out as an e-newsletter. As you might guess the focus tends to be the Middle East.

The Middle East for decades now has been growing as a region of Mohammedan hatred toward the West with America and Israel in its telescopes. I think America viewed Islamofascist terrorism as a pesky nuisance until 9/11. Then it became obvious that these Islamic radicals had the ability to exact global terrorism that affects the global economy in a negative way in the West.

Israel has had to deal with this threat from the very time of its modern inception in 1948 when surrounding Arab nations thought they would annihilate Jewish Israelis in a second Holocaust terminating a Jewish homeland before it could even get started.

Obviously the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob had other ideas. The soundly outnumbered Israelis not only repulsed the 1948 invasion, but it has successfully repulsed several other invasions since 1948.

Now the rogue nations of Iran and Syria joined by transnational terrorists like Hezbollah and Hamas have upped the stakes in the constant Mohammedan pursuit to destroy Israel. Iran is becoming a regional hegemon building nuclear plants with the capability of producing weapons grade uranium for nuclear weapons.

Have you looked at a Middle Eastern map lately? Israel is still a speck of water surrounded by an ocean of hostile Mohammedans. Weary Israel is currently dominated by a government that has fallen hook, line and sinker for the concept that giving up what little Land it has acquired from God ordained victories will result in peace. And yet Iran continues to pursue weapons grade uranium. With the talk of giving up land at least the Israeli government has no illusions what a nuclear armed Iran would mean to the existence of Israel.

With that in mind there has been talk of either an American or Israeli strike against Iranian nuclear facilities (or both) to slow down the manufacturing of weapons grade uranium.

So check out the first two articles from Prophecy Update. One is from the British Telegraph and the other is from Israel’s Haaretz. Both articles relate Iran is saber rattling that if ANY attempt to strike Iranian nuclear facilities occurs, Iran will blockade the Straits of Hormuz which 40% of the globe’s oil supply is shipped through.

So here is the Iranian tactic: 1) Stand by and assert that their nuclear program is peaceful (Yeah and I have a sand dune for sale real cheap); 2) Tell the UN, America and the EU that we all need to talk about it (stalling for time); or 3) Threaten America and Israel with a retribution that could affect the entire world’s economy and/or safety.

Most of the world appears to lean toward selling out Israel under the delusion an Islamic Agenda will stop in the Middle East; however Europe is already inundated with hostile Mohammedans that are giving every indication of overwhelming the continent with a Mohammedan birthrate.

Geez my fellow Westerners and Americans – WAKE-UP! The cancer of radical Islam has to be nipped in the bud even if it means a world war OR the West will it appease its way into subjugated dhimmitude.

I am not willing to replace my Liberty and Freedom with the despotism of Sharia Law and subservient dhimmitude. Are you?

There is Taqiyya in the Air

Ted Bellman believes a peace deal has been made between Israel and Syria.

Apparently Israel has working behind closed doors under Turkish mediation to cut yet another land for peace scheme with Syria. Bellman suspects there is a relationship with Egypt mediated truce between Israel and Hamas.

It all boils down to the apparent success of convincing Arabs and Sunni minded Turks that Shi’ite Iran has become so much of a threat to the ruling Sunni Elites of the Middle East, that they are willing to make serious deals to legitimize Israel in order to focus on Iran.

It would be a huge coup to get Syria on board with the other Arab nations and Turkey and out of the Iranian orbit.

The thing is I do not trust it. Assad of Syria has signed military pacts with Iran. Syria and Iran has been a conduit to provide sophisticated weaponry to Shi’ite Hezbollah of Lebanon to the detriment of Sunni Muslims and Christian Arabs of the same nation. Since Hezbollah is a puppet of Iran with a goal to eradicate Israel, there is an essence of treachery in the air.

Another thing to consider is that the population of Syria is a majority Sunni Muslim nation; however the ruling elites are Alawites more akin to Shia than Sunni. The only thing that Shia and Sunni really have in common is the radical Islamic element hating Israel and America.

I personally have the opinion the Alawite elites of Syria are practicing Taqiyya with the Sunni Arabs and Israel in a Machiavellian move to strategically upgrade military positioning on Israel and the weak official Lebanonese government. This will enable a Hezbollah coup in which the Shi’ites become the dictatorial rulers of Lebanon while Syria will be in a position to enhance Hezbollah and confront Israel if the Israeli government discovers there deluded mistake of land for peace.

The Egyptian brokered peace between Israel and Hamas is also a probable Taqiyya situation in which the irony of Sunni Hamas receiving military weaponry and training from Shi’ite Iran.

So here is the land for peace picture I see developing under the noses of Israel, America and Sunni Arabs concerned about Iran: A Hezbollah dominated rule over Lebanon north of Israel; a constantly hostile Syria (supported by Iran) northeast of Israel in which if the Golan Heights are returned, a strategic highway for an invading Syria; and an Iranian armed Hamas and Islamic Jihad (not to mention an al-Qaeda and Iranian Revolutionary Guard presence) south of Israel. Add to this: I have suspicions about Egypt’s loyalty to America and Israel. There is such a virulent radical Islamic hatred by the Egyptian populace of Israel I suspect Mubarak might weigh his options to enter an Israeli invasion. Mubarak would re-establish a connection with the huge radical element of his citizens, Egypt (if successful) would be an Arab Sunni hegemon of the Levant to the exclusion of the designs of Shi’ite Iran and a victory would make Mubarak the 21^st century Saladin expelling the kafir from Dar al-Islam as the Egyptian (Kurdish Muslim actually) Saladin expelled the Crusaders from much of the Levant.

Yes, I smell geopolitical Taqiyya among Mohammedans in the Middle East that is not good for the global economy and not good for Israeli Jews.

Could Olmert’s Departure Produce an Israeli Backbone?

This can only be good news for Israel. The Israeli Knesset believes it has enough votes to produce a “No Confidence” vote on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s government.

Olmert’s Kadima Party is attempting to forestall the “No Confidence” by having Olmert resign and having primaries to replace his premiership.

Either way Olmert is out!

The current head of the Conservative Likud Party Binyamin Netanyahu has been the poll favorite for Prime Minister for some time.

Hopefully Netanyahu will have some backbone and not give up anymore of Israel for a delusional land for peace with Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. And if that chaps the PA and Hamas’ hide, let us hope Netanyahu will flex Israeli muscles to move the military wings (i.e. the PA, PLO, Hamas and other Arab terrorist organizations) out of the Land Israel.

This would probably mean forcibly moving hate bred Arabs that call themselves Palestinians out of Judea and Samaria and Gaza. After all that is the very same goal of the lying Arab Islamofascist organizations plan to do to Jews in Israel. Actually the primary Islamofascist choice is the second Holocaust.

Since the government in Lebanon is powerless anyway, Israel should transport these Arabs to Hezbollahstan. Shi’ite Hezbollah and primarily Sunni PLO then can duke out to see if that land will be called Lebanon, Hezbollahstan, Palestine or some kind of loose Lebanonese Confederation (for there are still a substantial amount of Arab Christians in Lebanon. Or Syria and Iran can step in and merely end Lebanon’s existence and have a further group of homicidal suicide troops to fight against Israel’s existence.

Whatever Israel will stand or die united. The so-called Road Map to Peace, Oslo Accords and American pressure to form a Palestine will eventually provoke an armed conflict. It might as well be on Israeli terms rather Arab terms supported by the West.

Bush RD Bible - God Gave Israel to Jews

It is a shameful thing the Bush Administration is thrusting upon Israel from an Observant Jewish and Christian perspective. Not only is the Bush Administration forcing Israel to create a State called Palestine composed of people that given the opportunity would embark on a 21st century Holocaust, it is forcing Israel to divide the Holiest City to Jews and Christians alike – Jerusalem.

The Bush Administration is intent on the concept that the existence of yet another Arab nation would bring peace to the Middle East and Mohammedans would agree to live surrounding minuscule Israel in peace in harmony.

I have been a party to numerous petitions to keep Jerusalem as one city under Israeli sovereignty. I found to my dismay that many in Conservatives in Congress have also been duped into believing a nation called Palestine with the Eastern portion of Jerusalem as its capital (which includes the Temple Mount) would forge peace in the Middle East.

I received a polite email response from my Senator – Tom Coburn – saying he appreciates my concerns but does not endorse a ONE Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty. This means Senator Coburn (at least indirectly) is behind the Bush Administration to give yet another Holy Site for Mohammedans to desecrate in the name of their pseudo-prophet Mohammed and their eclectically created god known as Allah. Do you know what Mohammedans do to Jewish and Christian Holy Sites? Mohammedans desecrate them (Post 1967 Desecration: Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, etc.) in the name of Mohammedan Supremacism ala medieval thinking instead of Western tolerant thinking of the 21st century.

In this one case Senator Coburn is misguided by deluded conventional wisdom politics and I was steaming mad to receive such an email from him.

It is time for a Third Political Party to emerge that will diminish the Democratic Party or the Republican Party or both. I am finding myself forced to vote Republican merely because the Dems have become devoted to American cultural change of Secular Humanism with the goal of rendering Christianity and/or Christian Morality as a myth and an irrelevant faith for modern times. That is another future post some day.

The point is this: MY GOD the Bush Administration and the Israeli Center Left are committed to submerging Jewish Heritage (and so by extension Christian Heritage) to a bunch of hate filled war mongering Mohammedans that have absolutely a zero base for forming a sovereign nation.

Here are some enlightening excerpts from Arab-Israeli Conflict - Basic Facts:

NATIONHOOD

Israel became a nation about 1300 BCE, two thousand years before the rise of Islam. The people of modern day Israel share the same language and culture shaped by the Jewish heritage and religion passed through generations starting with the founding father Abraham. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 BCE, the Jews have had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.

After the Romans conquered Jerusalem about 2,000 years ago, Jewish people were expelled and dispersed to the Diaspora, and the Land of Israel was ruled by Rome, by Islamic and Christian crusaders, by the Ottoman Empire, and by the British Empire.

Throughout centuries Jews prayed to return from the Diaspora to Israel. During the first half of the 20th century there were major waves of immigration of Jews back to Israel from the Arab countries and from Europe. In 1948 Jews reestablished their sovereignty over their ancient homeland with the establishment of the modern State of Israel.

It was only after the Jews re-inhabited their historic homeland of Judea and Samaria, that the myth of a Palestinian nation was created and marketed worldwide. Jews come from Judea, not Palestinians. There is no language known as Palestinian, or any Palestinian culture distinct from that of all the Arabs in the area. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs indistinguishable from Arabs throughout the Middle East. The Palestinian National Charter adopted by the PLO states this fact in the first article (See the covenant)

The area called Palestine included the territories of present day Israel and Jordan. Under Lausanne agreement of 1923 Turkey transferred all claims to Palestine to mandatory power Britain. In 1922 Britain allocated nearly 80% of Palestine to Transjordan. In 1947 UN partitioned this remaining land into two states, a second Arab state, Palestine, and Israel. The great majority of Arabs in greater Palestine and Israel share the same culture, language and religion. The Arabs in the area began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel. Virtually all the Arabs in Judea, Samaria and Gaza in the West Bank of Jordan River have complete autonomy under the rule of the Palestinian Authority.

JERUSALEM

For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem (1948-1967), they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.

In the Jewish Bible, Jerusalem is mentioned over 669 times and Zion (which usually means Jerusalem, sometimes the Land of Israel) 154 times, or 823 times. The Christian Bible mentions Jerusalem 154 times and Zion 7 times. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran. Jerusalem is also not mentioned in the Palestinian Covenant.

King David established the city of Jerusalem as the capital of the whole Land of Israel. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem. Jerusalem remained under Turkish Ottoman Empire rule from 1517 to 1917, and under British rule from 1917 to 1948.

ARAB & JEWISH REFUGEES

The UN partition plan of 1947 was rejected by all the Arab countries. Arab leadership in Israel and in the countries surrounding Israel, planned a Jihad, holy war, against Israel and encouraged the Arabs to leave Israel promising their return after they purge the land of Jews. The great majority of Arabs left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier (see article and Arab sources that describe what happened during the war of 1948 that caused the Palestinian refugee problem).

During 1940's through 1950's nearly ALL the Jews had to flee from Arab countries to avoid persecution and pogroms. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab countries is estimated to be a million. This number is greater than the number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948, estimated as 343,000 (see Peters' book cited below).

Most of the Jewish refugees from Arab countries rapidly integrated into the modern society of Israel. This, despite the fact that Israel is a tiny country (about size of New Jersey) without any of the world's richest resources of petroleum in Arab countries. Today, the majority of the people in Israel are the descendants of Jews from Arab countries. (European Jews and their descendants constitute less than half the population of Israel).

The development of the Jewish community under British mandate led to economic growth in the region providing job opportunities for Arab workers. Consequently, the Arab population of Palestine swelled by the influx of Arab immigrants from Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and other Arab countries until 1947 (The trend of Arab migration into Israel to find a job continues to the present day). While the British forces limited Jewish immigration, they allowed free entry of Arab migrants. The UN agency UNRWA defined a "Palestinian refugee", as any Arab who stayed in the country for two years prior to 1948. Thus, UNRWA included in their statistics migrant workers greatly swelling the ranks of so called "Palestinian refugees" (for best reference on the subject see: From Time Immemorial: The Origins of the Arab-Jewish Conflict over Palestine by Joan Peters).

Arab refugee problem was created by the seven Arab countries that attacked Israel in 1948. Arab refugees were intentionally not integrated into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the fact total territory of Arab countries is about 700 times greater than that of Israel. Out of about 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has not been absorbed into their own peoples' lands. Arab nations still maintain generations of the descendants of the refugees in so called "refugee camps" under squalid conditions with the hope that someday they will dislodge the Jews in Israel. The money spent by the Arab countries on armaments would be sufficient to build houses for all so called "refugees". Arab countries should be encouraged to care for their poor population instead of spending their richest resources in the world on armaments and development of terrorist groups such as Osama Bin Laden from Saudi Arabia.

Since 1948, after three generations the descendants of the Arab refugees are still called "refugees" and are supported by UN "refugee" funds! With the highest birth rate in Arab countries this population has now grown to about four million. In negotiations, Arab leadership requests the "right of return" of this mass of millions into the tiny land of Israel. The settlement of millions of Arabs in Israel would immediately eliminate Israel as a Jewish state. This is the real aim of the Arab countries, to achieve by supposedly "peaceful" means what they could not achieve by unceasing violence in whole scale wars and daily terrorism.

The responsibility for keeping the Arab population who are descendants of the Arab refugees, rests only on the shoulders of the Arab countries that created the problem by attacking Israel in 1948.

Quote from Ralph Galloway, a former head of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), in Amman, capital of Jordan, in August 1958:

"The Arab states do not want to solve the refugee problem. They want to keep it as open sore, as an affront to the United Nations and as a weapon against Israel. Arab leaders don't give a damn whether the refugees live or die."

HOLY PLACES

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is the holiest site for Jews. It was the site of the Beit HaMikdash ("Temple") built by King Solomon (950 BCE), which was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar (587 BCE), rebuilt in 541 BCE, and then destroyed again by the Roman army in 70 CE leading to the exile of Jews from Israel. Al Aqsa Mosque and Shrine Of Omar were built at the site of the ancient Jewish temples. The Arabic name for Jerusalem "el-KuDS" [SlantRight Editor: or al-Quds] is derived from the Arabic name "BeT el-MaKDeS", a translation of the Hebrew "BeiT ha-MiKDaSH", the name of the Jewish Temple (see articles).

Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths. Arabs recently burnt the Tomb of Joseph and the ancient synagogue in Jericho (see pictures). To this days Arab Waqf in control of the Temple Mount does not allow Jews to pray in the Temple Mount. Jews pray facing Jerusalem as the location of the Beit Hamikdash. Muslims pray facing their holy city Mecca with their backs toward Jerusalem. Throughout the ages the Arabs have ignored The Temple Mount and renewed interest only recently because of their political exigencies and not religious history (see pictures and articles).

Civil Fights: The canard of 'disproportionate force'

International denunciations of Israel came thick and fast this week. The EU's rotating president, Slovenia, condemned the "disproportionate use of force by the Israeli Defense Forces against the Palestinian population in Gaza." UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon slammed Israel's "excessive and disproportionate" response to Palestinian rocket attacks. Even the US State Department urged Israel to "exercise caution to avoid the loss of innocent life," which is merely a milder version of the same premise: that Israel is to blame for all Palestinian civilian casualties, either because it uses "disproportionate force" or because it exercises insufficient "caution." Yet media reports on the fighting in Gaza reveal that in fact, the blame frequently lies with Palestinian behavior.

Take, for example, an Israeli air strike that killed two Palestinian teenagers last Wednesday. According to The New York Times, "witnesses in Gaza told the Palestinian news media that the civilians were hit while standing at a launching site watching Hamas militants firing rockets." There can be no more justified military activity than targeting terrorists in the very act of firing rockets at civilians. If that is "disproportionate," all military activity is. Moreover, since Hamas eschews uniforms, the IDF has no way to distinguish rocket crews from civilians who are cheering them on. Thus any civilian who rubbernecks at a rocket launch is clearly and deliberately putting himself in danger - which in itself should absolve Israel of responsibility.

BUT MORE importantly, for that very reason, most armed forces do not allow civilians in firing zones. The IDF, for instance, generally declares active combat areas "closed military zones" from which Israeli civilians are legally barred, and it enforces such orders. Other Western armies do the same.

But Hamas needs civilian casualties to fuel Palestinian and international anger at Israel. So rather than barring civilians from its launch zones, it welcomes them. And if they do not volunteer for the victim's role, it co-opts them - as happened last weekend: "Palestinian gunmen took up positions in homes while the civilians were still inside," Haaretz reported.

Firing back at people who are shooting at you is also clearly legitimate military activity; no law of war obligates soldiers to let themselves be mown down without a fight just because there are civilians nearby. Moreover, soldiers have no way of knowing whether the civilians have fled or are still inside a house; all they can be certain of is the presence of gunmen.

Under such circumstances, civilian casualties are inevitable. But those casualties are not caused by "disproportionate force" or insufficient "caution"; they are the direct result of Hamas's decision to use civilian homes, with the people still inside, as bases for targeting Israeli soldiers.

Moreover, civilians are not always innocent. Those whose homes were invaded by Hamas were presumably unwilling hostages. But some Palestinians voluntarily serve as "human shields" for terrorists - and by actively aiding and abetting terror, they turn themselves into combatants.

In one widely publicized case in November 2006, for instance, the IDF, seeking to avoid civilian casualties, announced two planned air strikes 30 minutes in advance to enable civilians to leave. Instead, Hamas used the loudspeakers of local mosques to urge civilians to flood the area and serve as human shields. Hundreds did so, and the IDF - precisely because Israel tries to avoid civilian casualties - consequently aborted the strikes. Yet these civilians were hardly "innocent": They deliberately intervened in an armed conflict on the terrorists' behalf.

What is most noteworthy about such incidents, however, is what they say about the Palestinian claim - mindlessly parroted by the international community - that the IDF fires indiscriminately, without regard for civilians. In fact, Hamas summoned civilian reinforcements precisely because it knew a civilian presence would prevent the air strikes. And the civilians came for the same reason - not because they sought death, but because they knew the IDF would not shoot them.

IN ANOTHER incident that same month, hundreds of Palestinian women purposely entered a combat zone to shield gunmen besieged by IDF soldiers. Again, they were deliberately abetting combatants. And again, they knew they could do so safely, because the IDF would not shoot them. And indeed, the soldiers held their fire as the wanted men escaped by mingling with the crowd.

In July 2006, The New York Times described another Gaza battle as follows: "[Israeli] soldiers fired at groups of armed Palestinians who fought in the streets, sometimes surrounded by curious and excited children." Why any parent would let his children outside during a gunfight is a mystery. But unless these parents were deliberately sacrificing their children for propaganda purposes, such behavior demonstrates a truly extraordinary faith in the IDF's efforts to avoid harming civilians.

Contrast this with Palestinians' behavior when the combatants are not Israelis. During last May's Hamas-Fatah infighting, for instance, the Times reported: "The streets of Gaza City were empty except for the gunmen, with shops shuttered and residents remaining indoors, usually in interior rooms farthest from the windows." No "curious and excited" children surrounding the gunmen in these battles: Gazan parents who trusted the IDF with their children's lives evidently placed no similar reliance on Palestinian forces.

THE MEDIA reports above, and numerous others like them, make three things clear: (1) Palestinians know full well that Israel strives to avoid civilian casualties; indeed, as their behavior demonstrates, they count on this. (2) Palestinian civilians frequently deliberately put themselves in the line of fire - either to help the combatants, or, like those "excited children," merely to cheer them on. (3) Palestinian terror groups deliberately foster casualties among their own civilians: Not only do they not discourage civilians from entering combat zones; they force them to do so - for instance, by invading civilian homes - when there are no volunteers.

In short, Palestinian civilian casualties usually result not from "disproportionate force" or "insufficient caution" by the IDF, but from Palestinian behavior, on the part of both civilians and terrorists.
