Well so much for the Sadar family dealing Muqtada al-Sadr privately as a family matter. Al-Sadr apparently is gaining confidence from rogue Iran that wishes to carve out a Middle Eastern hegemonic power base in the Middle East.
The Yahoo News source I just read implied al-Sadr is prepared to engage the U.S. military on a full scale basis in order to carve out his own Iraqi mini-state. Let’s see, what that State be called? Perhaps it would be called the Mahdi Republic or perhaps al-Sadr would just proclaim al-Sadr’s fiefdom a new part of the Shi’ite Islamofascist Republic of Iran.
Hello, its another play for oil power in the Middle East. It is somewhat like Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait to usurp oil for more money to rebuild Iraq after Iraq-Iran War ceased.
This could be another move on the chess board of war preparations between Iran and America: Patraeus was elevated to CentCom Commander so Iran elicits pressure from client terrorist al-Sadr.

General David Patraeus is being promoted from Baghdad Command to Central Command in the Middle East.
This is happening after Admiral Fallon abruptly resigned the CentCom position in March over strategy disagreement with the Bush Administration. Fallon opposed “The Surge” while Bush and Patraeus agreed it was a need. Patraeus obviously won out and it looks like he is taking the old bosses job.
With “The Surge” being way more successful than its opponents could ever have imagined; speculation must begin to arise as to the position of CentCom Commander for Patraeus. This is so particularly because of all the saber rattling from Iran and the promise of retaliation even from Democratic candidate Hillary.
Iran is supplying terrorist enemies of America and America’s ally Israel. Is the Bush Administration planning some kind of strike on Iran? It is just something to think about.

Bradley A. Blakeman of Freedomswatch.org has sent out an email exposing the defeatism of the Left and the Democrats in particular. The left are garnering forces to attempt to discredit General Patraeus in his second report to Congress on the progress on the War in Iraq.
Remember Moveon.org’s treasonous and malicious full page ad ran in the New York Times? The infamous “General Betrayus” was utilized.

Dear John,
General Petraeus is delivering his second report on progress in Iraq to Congress this week, and once again those in Washington opposed to the war are pre-empting his report with defeatist nonsense.
Democratic Senators Chris Dodd, John Kerry, Jack Reed, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have decried the lack of political progress and called it a sign of "failure." Apparently they're unaware of the Iraqi government's passage of key legislation, including a vital de-baathification law, oil revenue sharing provisions, a national budget, and granting limited amnesty to thousands of detainees.
Now, a new group of liberals wants to get in on the act, setting up a new coalition called "The Responsible Plan to End the War in Iraq" - but their plan is anything but responsible.
It calls for an end to all military action in Iraq, and instead encourages the U.S. to end the conflict using "diplomatic, political, and economic power." There's a word for this strategy: surrender.
When General Petraeus was in town last year, Hillary Clinton said his claims of progress required a "willing suspension of disbelief." If anything requires a suspension of disbelief it is the notion that Islamic extremists, suicide bombers, and dead-end insurgents will lay down their arms if we just leave - a strategy so naïve only a liberal could believe it.
Call your member of Congress today. Tell them the only responsible plan to ending the War in Iraq is through victory. A good first step toward that goal is for Congress to listen to the advice of the military commanders on the ground - qualified and capable men like General David Petraeus.

There is a Global War on Terror
America MUST Step Up to the Plate to Win
So the Lefties don’t think there is a Global War on Terror that is an illusion of G.W. Bush and Conservative War Hawks.
Let us examine some DOCUMENTED facts.
Now these facts are not all inclusive, there will probably be some that I have missed. Nonetheless the acts of Islamist Terrorism committed on Americans or American assets are well documented.
August 1982: Palestinian terrorist Mohammad Rashid is responsible for a bomb on a Pan Am flight from Honolulu, HI. One person died and several others are injured.
April 1983: Radical Shiite Muslim group takes credit for killing 63 on an attack on U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. The mode of death is a homicidal suicide car bomb.
October 1983: 241 United States Marines murdered in their barracks by Hezbollah (Lebanonese Party of God) in Beirut, Lebanon by a bomb.
December 1983: Pro-Iranian terrorists kill six and injure others with a homicidal suicide truck bomb attack on the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
September 1984: Islamic Jihad kills 16 at an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon.
June 1985: Hezbollah hijacks TWA Flight 847 and takes it to Beirut and kills one American.
October 1985: Cruise ship Achille Lauro is hijacked off of Egyptian coast by Palestine Liberation Front. One 69 year old American in a wheel chair is murdered and thrown overboard.
November 1985: Egypt Air Flight 648 is hijacked by Abu Nidal's Arab Revolutionary Command and 60 are murdered. Iraq’s Saddam Hussein and Libya’s Moamar Qaddafi is named in an international Law Suit.
April 1986: A Rome to Athens TWA flight was bombed by Mohammed Rashid, Palestinian terrorist, members of Iraqi backed May 15 organization. Four are murdered.
February 1988: Hezbollah kidnaps and EXECUTES a U.S. Marine in Southern Lebanon.
December 1988: Lockerbie, Scotland, Pan Am flight 103 is bombed by Libyan Intelligence agents murdering 270. Of the deaths 189 were Americans.
Feb 26 1993: The first terrorist attack on the World Trade Center occurs. Osama bin Laden is thought to have ordered the attack and the master mind Ramzi Ahmed Yousef is convicted for the attack to 240 plus years in prison.
March 1995: Two diplomats from the Karachi, Pakistan U.S. Embassy are murdered in retaliation of the convictions surrounding the 1983 attack on the World Trade Center.
August 1998: Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, U.S. embassies are bombed simultaneously murdering 263 and injuring 5,000. Osama bin Laden is thought to be behind the attacks on American Embassies.
October 2000: The Destroyer USS Cole in the Yemeni port of Aden is attacked by Islamic terrorists killing 17. Guess who the evidence points to as behind the attack: One does not have to be a genius to connect the dots to al Qaeda’s Osama bin Laden.
September 11, 2001: This is the Islamic terrorist attack that changed the lives of Americans. Al Qaeda’s Osama bin Laden ordered terror cells to hijack planes of which the two confirmed targets were the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The last target was suspected to be the White House but we will never know for the heroes of United Airlines Flight 93 rebelled enough that the jet crashed in Pennsylvania. This Time Line roughly measures 19 years of attacks by murdering Islamist transnational terrorist organizations on America culminating with 9/11 when a President finally got fed up and decided to take the fight to the terrorists.
The problem being though is that President Bush could not get enough support to attack all the transnational terrorists in the Middle East because of Leftists in Europe and at home as well as big oil trading with China and Russia.
Dear God in Heaven the Leftists in this country are saying there is no Global War on Terrorism connection with Iraq.
Geez wake up! In the time line there is direct evidence of Saddam’s complicity with funding terrorist acts against American Assets. Let’s look at some more Hussein/Iraqi intent on America.
Notice the Mainstream Media has nearly written off the huge amount of secret documents form Saddam Hussein’s government. Why do you think that is?

Now how was Bush able to finance an Armed invasion of Saddam Hussein’s Iraq?
Hello! Democrats of power in Congress viewed the very same Intelligence information that President Bush did concurring Saddam Hussein must be removed from a position that definitely harmed American National Interests.
Evidence shows that Bush did not deceive Congress as the Leftists are saying (for election purposes by the way) for the viewed the same Intelligence evidence. The only valid criticism of President Bush is that he wanted a pre-emptive strike on Iraq before psycho Saddam stockpiled enough chemical or nuclear WMD based on the projection of the Intelligence reports. It turns out the Intelligence Reports were way off on the Iraqi capability of serious WMD, especially the Nukes.
Although the Chemical WMD was not near as big as the Intelligence community projected, it was there. It can be shown that what was left of Saddam’s Chemical WMD was smuggled to Syria or Russia.
Some Lefties might say: Saddam is deposed, why waste American lives on Iraqis that are killing themselves?
One reason is of the little reported Iraqi Awakening. This is a movement in which Iraqis are growing weary of al Qaeda terrorism. Local Iraqi Sunnis that were with al Qaeda are leaving the transnational terrorist organization in droves forming local militias that aid the Iraq Military and the American Military hunt down al Qaeda. Places in Baghdad and Anbar Province (once havens for Terror cells) are informing on al Qaeda and have become places that people can walk down the streets in substantial relative peace. The Iraqi Awakening is even leading these militia members to join the Iraqi Military as recruits under American Military training.
Even the Shi’ites has joined the Iraqi Awakening. Many Shi’ites are leaving the pro-Iranian Mahdi Army operated by cleric Muqtada al-Sadr to also find some local peace. And of course the Kurds of the Northern Iraq have always been pro-American. The so-called insidious Iraqi civil war appears to be evaporating at a steady pace due to the American Military Surge.
Does anyone see how absurd it would be to pull out of Iraq now? Now that tribal coalitions are forming against foreign terrorist insurgents it would be the height of stupidity to leave Iraq now.
Let’s look at an analogy. World War II ended in 1945, in case Left Wing school teachers failed to teach you that fact. My point: There has been a significant American Military presence still in Germany and Japan for a war that ended 63 years ago. The Communist Chinese came to the aid of a collapsing North Korea during the Korean War and battled America to a stalemate dividing Korea into North and South Korea. In 1953 hostilities ended between North and South Korea. There is still an American Military presence in South Korea. That is 55 years after hostilities ended between North and South Korea.
As a significant victory is in America’s and the new Iraqi government’s grasp, the Dems want to pull and say defeat when the American Military is nearing the edge of victory in Iraq.
Wake up cut-n-run Americans!
Daniel Pipes writes a brief summary of President Bush’s historical legacy followed by conclusions about the success or failure of the Bush Agenda. I agree with Pipes’ outline of President Bush’s outstanding beginning and half heartedly agree with Pipes’ conclusions.
The conclusions are wholly negative. I have to admit deservedly so.
For me President Bush’s two terms in office is like Bush my hero and Bush my disappointment. The Bush agenda is still valid except maybe the valiant effort to export Western Democracy to a people whose Theo-political belief system purely cannot grasp or agree with the concepts of individual liberty and civil freedoms.
The Bush Agenda would have to become a true imperialist (as were the early Mohammedan conquerors) to force a change in religiously held beliefs of submission to Allah which over the years has given incredible social power to Mohammedan clerics and the rulers that manage or support the clerics.
In the Western World 21st century that would be totally be politically incorrect and would probably start a coalition of Westerners to bring down American geopolitical hegemony even though concepts of American Liberty more than once saved Western Europe from Statist despotism.
The Bush political interference in military strategy in post Saddam Iraq has prevented an outright victory against terrorism there. If the initial strategy was comparable to the current “Surge” then the implementation of civil administration would probably be more assured today. It may have alienated both Sunni and Shia factions initially; however without terrorist enclaves the Mohammedan understanding of power would have pacified violent opposition to American occupation and allowed time to build a new Iraqi political infrastructure. Admittedly the new infrastructure would not resemble Western Democracy. It would probably resemble more a democratic republican oligarchy in which tribes and clerics managed a system based on Mohammedan culture (hopefully not a total reliance on Sharia Law).
President Bush the disappointment is the Bush that implemented a faulty post Saddam clean up fearing the wrath of the Arab supporting/oil dependant Western allies that combined could hamper American National Interests. The coalition of the willing were militarily weaker mostly Eastern European governments that have admired American Liberty and wished to court American favor in case the big bear of Russia tried to rebuild its empire realized under Soviet Communism.
The Bush failure to date in the War on Terror was not the agenda but the failure of West Europeans controlling the European Union to comprehend the danger to Western Culture presented by Islamofascist transnational terrorists and Islamist rogue nations and individual Islamist billionaires (Mostly Saudi) who support the concept of a Global Jihad.
The EU failure to join the Bush Agenda could potentially weaken the Western Culture of the future to withstand Islamist attacks. And I am not necessarily writing of military or terrorist attacks, but the allowance of a Mohammedan Trojan Horse to infiltrate our culture and weaken our resolve to retain Liberty, Freedom and Democratic Institutions.
The Bush disappointment is a failure of realization of European Union peoples to comprehend the threat.
John Loftus of IntelligenceSummit.org is one of probably who has had an opportunity to sift the secret and Intelligence files of butcher Saddam Hussein. Loftus has come to a conclusion concerning the Weapons of Mass Destruction that the US Military never discovered which the Bush Administration was certain were in Iraq.
It has been the hangman’s noose of the Left discrediting the Bush Administration with sayings such as “Bush lied, people died”. And as Loftus pointed out, Neocon diehards (such as myself) still believe WMD is somewhere in the Iraqi desert (or in my belief, transported out of Iraq).
Loftus’ analysis apparently embarrasses everybody thus it is not likely to be admitted by the American Left or the American Right.
Apparently there is not only an Anbar Awakening among Sunni Iraqis who cooperating with the US Military to route out foreign insurgents (such as al Qaeda Iraq – AQI) but Shi’ites are becoming fed up with the thuggery of the Mahdi Army.
Evidently Muqtada al-Sadr’s Mahdi Army is not enforcing a rule of law among Shi’ites to make them feel safe. It is bad news for the Shi’ites but it is good news for the US Military. Why, you might ask? Because al-Sadr is tied to the psycho Ayatollahs of Iran and it is a good thing to drive a wedge between Twelver Shi’ites of Iran and Iraqi Shi’ites.
Anyway, go check it out at Small Wars Journal. It means we are winning in Iraq not losing as the Dems would have Americans believe.

It demonstrates how the Democrats are in denial about an Anbar Awakening that foreign insurgents (al Qaeda in particular) are crazy psycho radical that are evil and mean to do evil to those who disagree with them: Christians, Jews, other religions, Atheists and even fellow Mohammedans.
