The incompetence of Prime Minister Olmert to manage the government of Israel is appalling. Combine this with the Bush Administration intense pressure on Olmert to agree to create a Palestinian-Arab State managed by a gang of greedy turf minded terrorist thugs and you will have more violence not less.
There is only way for a Palestinian State to exist and that is for fellow Arabs to actually step in and do a Donald Trump to the fractured Islamist thugs and say, “YOU’RE FIRED!”
The only way for there to be Middle East peace is Arab nations like Jordan and Egypt to join Israel and cooperate in the front of the World’s eyes and remove the incendiary Palestinian murderous thugs.
Without major Arab cooperation the Bush Administration and Ehud Olmert are setting the Jews of Israel for a Wahhabi-Muslim Brotherhood-Syrian-Iranian dream come true: The eradication of the existence of the Land Israel.
Read Carolyn Glick’s insight on this related to Bush and Rice forcing the incompetent dolt Olmert to decease the Gaza Offensive even though CAIR’s pals the Hamas terrorists continuously sends rockets into Israeli civilian cities.

Jeff Jacoby writes of the disappointing Bush. With the Secretary of State as the voice piece, President Bush is abandoning a principle of the Bush Doctrine pertaining to terrorism.
Regardless of constant terrorism by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al Aksa Brigade and other Islamofascist terrorists that call themselves Palestinians; President Bush is determined to create a sovereign nation called Palestine.
National Interests drive domestic and foreign policies of all nations. What do you think a Palestinian State’s primary National Interest would be?
If you thought that National Interest was to live in perpetual peace with Israel cooperating with the Israeli economy to strengthen the infrastructure of a novice Palestinian State, you would be an idiot.
The National Interest of a Palestinian State will be the same as the prime directive of the Arab terrorists since the Arab League set up the refugees they created as a stateless people: none other than the complete and utter destruction of Israel and the Jews that live in the Land of Israel.
And guess what? Part of the Bush dhimmitude to Arab wishes is for Israel to recede to the vulnerable borders that existed between Israel’s creation in 1948 through 1967 prior to one of the Arab invasions to drive the Jews into the sea. The penalty for that Arab invasion was the complete union of Jerusalem under Israeli authority and the acquisition of land Biblically part of Israel and Judaism.
That border recession is like stamping a big sign on an Israeli map that says, “INVADE ME.”
Evidently the Bush Administration is willing to sacrifice Israeli security to drum up Arab friends to stand with him of the true threat of rogue Iranian militancy not to mention Iran being the biggest supporter of transnational terrorist organizations committed to a Jewish holocaust.
So you see President Bush is playing a brinksmanship game between Arabs and Iranians gambling on checking Iran and offering a Palestinian State as a gift for Arab help to check Iran. I am guessing the thinking is that Iran is the current threat to the flow of oil thus affecting our National Interests so President Bush is operating in the NOW of what is left of his term of Office and let the next President be responsible for the existence of Israel.
The problem with that thinking there is a huge chance that Appeasement minded Democrats may win the Presidency in 2008 and allow Israel to be dissolved by American inaction. Did I say “dissolved?” I meant butchered.
The butchering lay in that Bush has been selling weapons to Arabs that has nearly erased Israel’s qualitative military edge (QME) in superior weapons to potential hostile neighbors.
You can think of the QME in this way. Israel had such a difficult time in punishing Hezbollah for missile launches and soldier kidnapping, that many Middle Eastern nations perceived the first Arab victory and the first Israeli loss in battle since their 1948 Statehood. This was accomplished with better training thanks to Iran more than superior weapons.
Now check this out! America has been selling high tech weaponry to perceived American Arab friends Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt. The Saudi’s have never formerly recognized Israel as State. Although Jordan and Egypt have diplomatic relations with Israel they have been involved in every major invasion of Israel since 1948. These Arab nations have benefitted from American training and high tech weapons.
What do you think will happen if Bush succeeds in creating a Palestinian State with Arab allies that have American military training and American high tech weapons?
Has anyone noticed that President Bush has morphed on his support for Israel? For that matter Condoleezza Rice also seems to have morphed when she was elevated from National Security Advisor to Secretary of State? When Rice was in the National Security position I even considered her a potential Republican Presidential candidate.
The President and Rice seem to have swung their pendulum toward the Arabs as a means to reach an end of Israeli/Arab strife. Bush has gone from supporting Israel and relying on Israeli Intelligence to forcing Israel into a position of an existential crisis and ignoring Israeli Intelligence.
There is the appearance that the only Western style democracy in the Middle East is becoming expendable as an ally toward the old career State Department bureaucracy favoritism of cuddling with Arabs.
An extrapolation can be made that the Bush Administration has aligned foreign policy evaluation on the level of the EU which blames Israel for all the violence in the Middle East when all the little sliver of a nation is doing is surviving as a Land for Jews to come to where the government respects their Faith and/or Jewish background (amazingly innumerable Jews have abandoned their Faith in favor of Leftist utopian thinking yet still ascribe to their Jewishness).
In Europe the plague of anti-Semitism seems to be growing as Mohammedan immigrants seem to grow larger inciting indigenous Europeans back toward an anti-Semitic mind-set.
I suspect the War on Terrorism is not concluding as Bush envisioned it would in his pro-active days; thus in his last days of President he trying to forge an Arab inclusion to join America on the War on Terrorism (transnational terrorists). To do that, I suspect Bush has decided concessions have to be made to Arabs concerning creating a Palestinian Sovereign Terrorist State even if it is a future threat to Israeli existence.
Read Bill Mehlman’s The Bush Metamorphosis which captured my thoughts of the Bush Administration's political swing. Mehlman is not as specific in his thoughts probably because he is a journalist and I am a blogger; however Mehlman inspire one to think of the long haul transformation of Bush toward Israel.
It is doing interviews on anti-American Mohammedan media and saying things like “whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, prays to the same God” that makes old GW an enigma to people who dearly wish to support him and validates the views of his enemies.
I myself wish to believe GW is a man of faith, but ultimately the above statement proves he is an American politician. GW has accomplished and acted on things that I believe another leader such as Gore or Kerry would not have had the cajones to put into action; however it has become apparent the motive was viable but the execution was a debacle.
As a politician his public erudition will be skewed to gain the approval the audience which is listening to him. Does GW truly believe that ALL religions pray to the same God? Due to being a politician he may never find out until history can scrap together the snippets of private conversations, private correspondences and actual witnesses to the practice of his personal faith.
I pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that Judeo/Christianity represents that it is the GW-politician making those deluded statements and not the actual personal faith of GW in Jesus’ Name (and here is a point of belief separation Judaism and Christianity – Name of Jesus).
The politician GW is screwing some things up (my perspective) and fixing others. It is all about the politician’s maxim to formulate a political agenda and attempt to accomplish it by building a political power base and compromise (give and take) with the political enemy.
GW’s current problem current problem is alienating his political base and negotiating with an intransient enemy that senses it has the current political upper hand.
Shortly after reading the Evans-Novak Political Report I received via email I stumbled upon this brilliant article that exposes the duplicity of the Democratic Party. As you know the Democrats (especially the fringe Dem haters of President Bush) are expressing public outrage of the President’s Commutation of Libby’s sentence. Keep in mind it is a Commutation and not a Pardon.
Hmmm … Let us read of Clinton’s outright Pardon’s of political cronies before he departed office.
There seemed to be a round of agreement that the Senate legislation on immigration was dead last week. I have come to find out from Newt Gingrich that is not the case. Apparently President George W. Bush in an ever increasing bolt from those who elected him is going to utilize political strong arm tactics in an attempt to push the outrageous immigration bill through the Senate.
It is mobilize the Conservative Forces time and do what I thought would be unthinkable: Oppose the Presidential wishes toward the Senate!
Apparently Newt Gingrich gave a dismal assessment of the GOP if voter association remains with George W. Bush during the 2008 elections. The meaning of course that the Republicans will not only have lost both Houses of Congress but would lose the White House as well.
Gingrich has accused Bush of screwing the Republican Conservative revolution initiated by President Ronald Reagan.
I agree with Gingrich on the Bush debacle. The early years of his Administration the agenda (at least in the First Administration) had spot on goals. The problem became dismal choices in the decisions to find a path to the goals. Once it became apparent that the execution of Executive decisions was faulty, the Bush Administration kept looking for paths leading away from the debilitating quick sand it always seemed to step into. Anti-Bush bureaucrats in government (Democratic and Republican appointees past and present) and fringe Leftist Democrats made sure the Bush Administration kept finding the quick sand via lies and half-truths and rarely (if ever) the whole truth.
After Congress left the Executive Branch/Legislative Branch alliance by the defeat of the Republican majority, the Bush Administration became an absolute lame duck. The only political leverage the Bush Administration retained was the “veto” and negotiated comprise with Leftists.
Thus early bad decisions on how to reach goals has led to a disastrous Presidency.
Gingrich is correct partly in his assessment of distancing Republicans from George W. Bush, yet not totally. The early aim of fighting terrorism on wherever it may lead is a good thing. The War on Terror must not be given up, rather the War has to be fought smarter and with the aggressive means to discover the path to victory. A few civilians may die but that is the casualty of a war that Middle Eastern Muslims and global Islamist civilians support (America is viewed as Christian Crusaders). The victory over Nazi Germany and Imperialist Japan in WWII was won with huge enemy civilian causalities. These civilians absolutely supported their government's war goals. Why would anyone expect a difference in the War on Terror? The terrorists (Palestinian and global Islamists) certainly expect that the death of civilians will force Western oriented nations to offer defeat, and the West should respond in kind.
Anyway that is my passionate belief about the current War. Newt Gingrich addresses other political issues in his GOP assessment.
