Five hundred and fifty metric TONS of yellow cake uranium was secretly removed from Iraq to a “port in Canada” which will be processed for use in energy producing nuclear reactors. The point is though the yellow cake is of the quality used to initiate the creation of nuclear WMD.
HUH?!
My God the Left has been blasting the Bush Administration that no WMD was found in Iraq thus the liar’s motto “Bush lied, people died.”
Hello! The Yellow Cake is smoking gun evidence that Saddam Hussein was at the very least preparing to make nuclear WMD.
And what of Valerie Plame’s husband Joe Wilson saying there was no deal between Niger and Iraq for Yellow Cake? Hmm … Iraq does not have Uranium naturally in it nation. Could Wilson and Plame be part of a Leftist propaganda machine to darken President Bush’s credibility when Bush could not respond in total to the lies for National Security reasons?
The war in Iraq is legitimate.
Now Iran is even closer to nuclear weaponry than Iraq was. What are we going to do about it?
I know what the Left wants to do about it. NOTHING!

These are all AP wire stories picked up by Yahoo News, Fox News and CBC News. I have read that the AP itself may have taken the story down on its own website. If that is true what does that tell you of one of the largest Wire Services of the Mainstream Media? It tells you that a front page news story might make Bush a hero instead of a goat and that the MSM does not want that to happen to make Republicans look good during Election 2008.
What a bunch of Leftist hypocrites!
JRH (Hat tip to a language colorful post at the Military Brotherhood)
I have read the nuttiest decision President Bush is pursuing to offset the probable nuclear threat of Shi’ite Iran. Old GW is negotiating for America to build “peaceful” nuclear technology in Saudi Arabia.
To be realistic I do understand as to the “why” GW is pursuing the path of courting big oil Arabs with nuclear technology. I presume GW is looking at the realism that our so-called European allies have zero intention in supporting America and Israel in a military strike to eliminate or set back Iran’s nuclear ambitions to be THE Middle Eastern hegemon with the Twelver Shi’ite Messianic fervor to destroy Israel.
One would be a moron to think rogue nation Iran is not driven by Islamic fervor to spread Islam globally in the style of medieval prophet Mohammed. That style is using the brutal sword to convert, become a dhimmi (the so-called “protected” sub-human non-Mohammedan class) or die. Iran’s Twelver Shi’ite tentacles have reached to Syria’s Alawite Shi’ites (the minority yet governing class) and to the Hezbollah (Khomeini admiring) Shi’ites of Lebanon. Shi’ite Iran has incredulously even delivered military hardware to the Sunni terrorists Hamas. I say “incredulously” because the Hamas radical Islam is of the Sunni Wahhabi of Saudi Arabia and Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt. This kind of Sunni believes the Shi’ite Muslim are kafir (or kuffar or whatever variation that is translated to English) as much as Christian, Jews or any other non-Mohammedan.
Now here is the rub: Wahhabi and Muslim Brotherhood factions of Mohammedanism also believe in the spread of Islam by any violent means necessary. Of late the Muslim Brotherhood has diversified its tactics of spreading Mohammedanism by supporting the usual outward tactic of violent jihad (Hamas, al Qaeda and others) and infiltrating Western Society utilizing Western tools of Liberty and Democracy as silent weapons against America and the West.
Wahhabist doctrine specifically warns Muslims not to imitate, befriend or help “infidels” in any way. It instills hatred for United States because we are ruled by legislated constitutional law rather than by tyrannical Sharia law. Wahhabists are instructed by edict to, above all, work for the creation of an Islamic state where ever they may dwell.
It is because of the Wahhabist ideology’s cruel and unyielding fanaticism that we in the United States should be concerned with its prevalence within the mosques of our nation.
After the Iranian Islamic Revolution of 1979 – an unprecedented action by the fundamentalists of the Shi’ite sect, the Saudi Arabian government responded by coming to terms with the fundamentalist Wahhabist movement of the Sunni sect. The Saudis, in return for a declaration of non-aggression, began to finance the construction of mosques in countries around the world. An estimated $45 billion has been spent by the Saudis to finance the building and operational costs of mosques and Islamic schools in foreign countries, including in North America.
Through the funding of mosques, Islamic Centers and their operations, Saudi Arabia is exporting the Wahhabist ideology. It is not unusual to find that the presiding cleric in any given mosque within the United States is a Wahhabist and that his teachings have been sanctioned and financed by the Saudi government and vetted by the Muslim Brotherhood. (Frank Salvato)
Can you see why it is just as crazy to proffer nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia as it is to allow Iran to lie about a peace nuclear program that everyone knows is a future factory for nuclear warheads?
If the Islamist nuts in Iran follow through with nuclear weapons and GW allows the Saudis to acquire nuclear technology which would lead to nuclear weapons, who would I blame? Surprisingly I would not blame GW for planting the seed for WMD proliferation. I would first blame the deluded Europeans that did not have the guts to back GW in the Global War on Terrorism followed closely by blaming America’s own Leftists.
The Appeasers may have tied the hands of GW to engage Islamist Arabs to counter Islamist Iranians to stall for time for the next President to develop a strategy for the West to WAKE-UP.
God Almighty let us pray the Prince of Appeasers in America is elected President. Barack Hussein Obama will go into the enemy’s camp like Prime Minister Chamberlain went to Germany just prior to WWII. Chamberlain proudly proclaimed his meeting with Hitler will bring peace for our time. Peace for our time meant agreeing to allow Hitler to annex Sudetenland in then Czechoslovakia which gave Hitler time to make a pact with Soviet Stalin to divide Poland. The Nazi blitzkrieg on Poland became the last straw in Europe and France and Britain FINALLY perceived no amount of appeasement would bring peace for our time. Hitler even turned on his buddy Stalin (which was not surprising because Stalin had his own delusions of grandeur and would have turned on Hitler). And so WWII began.
What would the Prince of Appeasers give up to proclaim peace for our time to the Islamists? Hmm … I am thinking that would be Israel. Then what? What would be the West’s modern Poland?
Here is the United American Committee email alert I received on May 17 which inspired my polemics:
ACTION ALERT: U.S. to help Saudis gain nuclear technology:
Today the United American Committee is alerting its members to an issue at hand that the UAC finds utterly disgusting, troubling, and gravely dangerous.
The United States government has agreed to help the radical kingdom called Saudi Arabia develop nuclear technology for power and other “peaceful” purposes. See the news article here.
The UAC wishes to remind everyone of an article from 2003 describing the Saudi kingdom's intense desire to develop a nuclear bomb.Due to overwhelming evidence and hard facts, the UAC firmly believes that the Saudi kingdom is the chief exporter of terrorism and extremism in the world. The kingdom spend billions of dollars on exporting their extremist ideology through the construction of radical mosques and madrassas throughout the world, as well as direct support to terror support in the form of money to the families of suicide bombers, as well as direct contributions to charities in the United States who believe in establishing Islamic law in America. The kingdom also spends billions of dollars supporting lobbying activities to influence our government officials.
We urge every United American Committee member and activist within the anti-jihad resistance to contact their congressman and senators to let your opinion be known.
Find your congressman by following this link.
Find your senator by following this link.
Barack Obama is whining in his cheese because Senator McCain and President Bush have labeled Obama an appeaser.
Yeah … Obama’s concept of winning a war is having multilateral talks with rogue nations and Islamist terrorists to give them what they want while the U.S. of A. skips town.
Sounds like appeasement to me!
Then Obama gets his back all hunched up and says if they want to debate about protecting America he is ready for that one because Bush’s policies have divided America and the President and his supporters – like McCain – have a lot to answer for.
What a load of Dem dung: It is the Dems and the Leftist MSM that have divided America with distorted reports while not verbally attacking America’s enemies for attacking America on our homeland and abroad.
Islamofascist terrorism has attacked American assets through Republican and Democratic Presidencies. Do you think America should lie down after invading Afghanistan just because al Qaeda and its closest regional ally the Taliban colluded on the final straw that awakened a President to not look the other way about the existence of Islamist rogue nations and terrorists?
No the Democrats (and Obama is one of them) saw an opportunity to bring down a Presidency that was reversing Left Wing social engineering by using a rough stretch in the GWOT as a center piece. That is not only appeasement it is treacherous politics as far as I am concerned.
The Dems are further using the Leftist MSM in quoting McCain to allude that sooner or later America will have to deal with Hamas, while claiming that Obama would never negotiate with the terrorist organization Hamas.
Hmm … Let’s think about that before people go off and agree with the Dhimmicrats that McCain is wading in hypocrisy. I suspect McCain’s view of negotiation would be completely different than a Dhimmicrat version of negotiation.
I suspect the Dhimmicrats would fall in line with the current Bush Administration of giving everything but the proverbial kitchen sink to Hamas and Fatah (both are equally terrorists) believing that would secure peace in the Middle East between Mohammedan nations and Israel.
When comes to the time to “deal” with Hamas it should be more like this: You will recognize Israel’s existence and quit trying to bring a second Jewish Holocaust or American and Israeli troops will march through Gaza to destroy Hamas and its so-called civilian supporters.
Now that is what I call negotiation. AND that is why Hamas has publicly endorsed Obama for President in America.
I am looking forward to that debate with between Obama and McCain so I can watch Obama squirm when McCain uses reality to slap Democratic Party half-truths down Obama’s throat.
Joel Himelfarb writes that President GW’s twilight months left in Office is beginning to mirror Slick Willie’s twilight months in Office.
Both are guilty of attempting last minute diplomacy to establish a memorable legacy.
Slick failed with North Korea and Palestinian terrorists.
GW is attempting to do the same thing while apparently leaving the problem of a nuclear Iran to the next President as Slick left Osama bin Laden for GW.

Daniel Pipes writes a brief summary of President Bush’s historical legacy followed by conclusions about the success or failure of the Bush Agenda. I agree with Pipes’ outline of President Bush’s outstanding beginning and half heartedly agree with Pipes’ conclusions.
The conclusions are wholly negative. I have to admit deservedly so.
For me President Bush’s two terms in office is like Bush my hero and Bush my disappointment. The Bush agenda is still valid except maybe the valiant effort to export Western Democracy to a people whose Theo-political belief system purely cannot grasp or agree with the concepts of individual liberty and civil freedoms.
The Bush Agenda would have to become a true imperialist (as were the early Mohammedan conquerors) to force a change in religiously held beliefs of submission to Allah which over the years has given incredible social power to Mohammedan clerics and the rulers that manage or support the clerics.
In the Western World 21st century that would be totally be politically incorrect and would probably start a coalition of Westerners to bring down American geopolitical hegemony even though concepts of American Liberty more than once saved Western Europe from Statist despotism.
The Bush political interference in military strategy in post Saddam Iraq has prevented an outright victory against terrorism there. If the initial strategy was comparable to the current “Surge” then the implementation of civil administration would probably be more assured today. It may have alienated both Sunni and Shia factions initially; however without terrorist enclaves the Mohammedan understanding of power would have pacified violent opposition to American occupation and allowed time to build a new Iraqi political infrastructure. Admittedly the new infrastructure would not resemble Western Democracy. It would probably resemble more a democratic republican oligarchy in which tribes and clerics managed a system based on Mohammedan culture (hopefully not a total reliance on Sharia Law).
President Bush the disappointment is the Bush that implemented a faulty post Saddam clean up fearing the wrath of the Arab supporting/oil dependant Western allies that combined could hamper American National Interests. The coalition of the willing were militarily weaker mostly Eastern European governments that have admired American Liberty and wished to court American favor in case the big bear of Russia tried to rebuild its empire realized under Soviet Communism.
The Bush failure to date in the War on Terror was not the agenda but the failure of West Europeans controlling the European Union to comprehend the danger to Western Culture presented by Islamofascist transnational terrorists and Islamist rogue nations and individual Islamist billionaires (Mostly Saudi) who support the concept of a Global Jihad.
The EU failure to join the Bush Agenda could potentially weaken the Western Culture of the future to withstand Islamist attacks. And I am not necessarily writing of military or terrorist attacks, but the allowance of a Mohammedan Trojan Horse to infiltrate our culture and weaken our resolve to retain Liberty, Freedom and Democratic Institutions.
The Bush disappointment is a failure of realization of European Union peoples to comprehend the threat.
Here are some Annapolis insights from Joel C. Rosenberg.

AFTER ANNAPOLIS: President Bush should visit Israel and speak in Jerusalem
Joel C. Rosenberg
November 28, 2007-11-28
How should we assess the Annapolis conference?
First, the good news:
* President Bush, to his great credit, is doing everything he possibly can to keep another horrible war from breaking out in the epicenter. I don't think in the end he will be successful, but I strongly applaud him for trying. He is following the words of Jesus, "Blessed are the peacemakers." With great difficulty, he brought together senior leaders from almost 50 countries -- including Syria, including the head of the Arab League, and including the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference -- in the hopes of jump-starting a new dialogue for peace. I, for one, am grateful for his efforts.
* The U.S. emerged once again as a global agenda-setter, working hard to build a global alliance of moderate, peaceful, reformer Muslim leaders against the radical Islamic jihadist leaders that Iran is trying to pull together into an alliance against Israel and the West.
* Syria's participation in the Annapolis conference, which infuriated Iran, was particularly welcome. Tensions along the Golan Heights are running high. War clouds between Damascus and Jerusalem are clearly building. The fact that Syria was willing to meet in a diplomatic setting like this is good news. It may not ultimately be enough to prevent a war, but it is still a welcome development.
* The Israelis and the Palestinians are going to begin regular peace talks beginning December 12. This, too, is good -- though Prime Minister Olmert must strongly and firmly insist from the outset that talks absolutely cannot continue if southern Israeli towns like Sderot continue to be hit by rockets and mortars. The shelling must stop immediately. The first provision of the "Road Map to Peace" was Israeli security. Nothing else should be discussed until the border is quiet.
* President Bush did not publicly pressure Olmert to divide Jerusalem, and Olmert did not publicly immediately put Jerusalem on the table. This, too, is good, though I suspect it's only temporary. Still, let's take one day at a time.
Now, the bad news:
* A process is now in place that will, in fact, steadily and dramatically increase international pressure on Israel to give up something tangible (land, sovereignty) for something historically elusive, at best ("recognition" by the Islamic world and, of course, "peace"). If Israel is not careful, she could end up feeling forced to give away the store.
* We know by his previous statements and those of his advisors that Prime Minister Olmert is already disposed to give away nearly all of the Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria, commonly known as the West Bank, as well as up to half of Jerusalem. He is going to have plenty of opportunities to thus "respond" to this growing international pressure in the weeks and months ahead. This is a serious concern.
* It is not clear that Mr. Olmert has learned the lessons of Israel's withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000 or her withdrawal from Gaza in 2005. Rather than Israel receiving "recognition" and "peace" in return for such land giveaways, the radical jihadist group Hamas took over Gaza and is steadily consolidating its power in the West Bank. What's more, Israel was attacked by some 4,000 rockets and missiles from Lebanon in 2006 and by more than 2,500 rockets and mortars from Gaza over the past two years. "Land for peace" worked with Egypt in 1979. Israel did not have to give up land for peace with Jordan in 1994, and that peace treaty has held. Is there evidence that giving up land will bring about true and lasting peace with the Palestinians in 2007 or 2008? Sadly, no.
* The very fact that the Israelis are talking about giving up land and dividing Jerusalem is a sign of blood in the water to her enemies, not a good thing when you're surrounded by sharks. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is already organizing a conference of terrorists as an "alternative" to Annapolis. He and his genocidal cronies will do everything they can to sabotage any prospect for peace, however slim, and then say, "See, we told you so! Now it's time for war." Ahmadinejad sees Olmert and his government as weak, exhausted, and doomed to collapsed. He said as much yesterday after a cabinet meeting in Tehran. "It is impossible that the Zionist regime will survive," Ahmadinejad insisted. "Collapse is in the nature of this regime because it has been created on aggression, lying, oppression and crime." Moreover, Ahmadinejad believes the winds of history are at his back. He believes he is doing Allah's will to obliterate Israel and annihilate Judeo-Christian civilization as we know it. Annapolis will very likely serve as a catalyst to him to get his nuclear weapons program complete, take care of Israel once and for all, to bring about the global carnage and chaos necessary to usher in the coming of the Mahdi.
* Russia has announced that it is going to host a post-Annapolis summit soon. President Vladimir Putin can't stand the notion that President Bush has emerged in recent years as the game-changer in the Middle East. Putin wants that role for himself. The difference is Bush wants to support the Reformers, while Putin is siding with the Radicals. We must watch carefully to see how Putin reacts to Annapolis and what new initiatives he might try to put on the table. One possibility: "a Middle East nuclear weapons-free zone" that would seek to turn the world's attention away from Iran and put the spotlight on disarming Israel.
Where do we go from here?
* Let me start by saying I believe the Israeli public sincerely wants peace with the Palestinians. They sincerely want the Palestinian people to run their own affairs, govern their own lives, raise their children in peace and safety, and have a growing economy that can bless and benefit everyone in the region. I wholeheartedly share this desire.
* That said, we must be clear: Hamas does not want peace with Israel. Hamas wants what Iran wants: the annihilation of Israel. And Hamas is calling the shots in the West Bank and Gaza. Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (aka, Abu Mazen) is a weak figurehead right now. His Fatah/PLO organization is withering beneath him. It may not be long before it completely collapses and Hamas takes full control in the West Bank as it has in Gaza. Should Israel really be negotiating with terrorists? Should we really risk putting the Christian holy sites of Jerusalem under the control of radical Islamic jihadists. Look what's happening to Christians in Gaza. They are being attacked, harassed, persecuted and even martyred. Muslims who don't subscribe to the full Hamas agenda have been slaughtered on the streets of Gaza. Journalists are being kidnapped there. Under no circumstances should such a fanatical group of people be allowed to control the West Bank or any piece of Jerusalem. It is insane to think otherwise.
* President Bush should, therefore, take an historic trip to Israel soon and address the Israeli Knesset (parliament) in Jerusalem. He should make clear to the Islamic world that the U.S. stands with Israel and that we will do nothing to compromise her safety or security.
* The President and Congress should also make it clear that the U.S. considers Jerusalem the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish State of Israel. We should move our Embassy there immediately. This would send a clear and powerful message to Israel's enemies that Jerusalem is not a Thanksgiving turkey to be carved up, slice by slice.
* We should recruit more people to sign Natan Sharansky's online petition to protect Jerusalem and keep it unified. See below to visit www.onejerusalem.org.
* Evangelical Christians must obey Psalm 122:6 to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem." Such prayers are needed as much as ever. The Joshua Fund is seeking to mobilize 100,000 partners around the globe to pray knowledgeably and consistently for peace in the region and to get our Flash Traffic geopolitical updates. We've gone from 3,000 to 39,000 such partners in the last year. If you know someone who would like to sign up for Flash Traffic, please email this to them and encourage them to get onboard.
* We also need to mobilize evangelical Christians to provide even more humanitarian relief supplies to poor and needy Israelis, Palestinians, and Lebanese, and to preposition more supplies in the region ahead of coming wars. This year, we've sent nearly $2 million worth of relief supplies into the region to care for needy Jews and Arabs, but so much more needs to be done. That's what The Joshua Fund's "Operation Epicenter" is all about. Find out more and consider getting involved at www.joshuafund.net.
