I first heard on FOX News yesterday that Condi Rice may be looking to coax a VP nomination out of McCain. Then I ran into an April 6 post of an ABC blog called Political Radar which reports Secretary Rice is ACTIVELY seeking the Republican nomination for Vice President.
Here are my brief thoughts on that prospect.
The Condi Rice that was GW’s National Security Advisor was a person I saw with admiral skill and eloquence. I toyed with the concept of a Black Female Republican Presidential nomination of that Condi Rice. I even thought of it more when her National Security Advisor skills found her moving upward to Secretary of State.
Then there is the Secretary of State Condi Rice.
Since becoming head of the State Department Rice seems to have been overwhelmed by State Department bureaucrats that fought the Bush Doctrine from its inception as a concept to promote America’s National Interests.
If it was not for a strong Israel lobby these old dog bureaucrats view of America’s National Interests lay in placating Arab nations that are friendlier (not necessarily friendly) to America at the expense of the Middle East’s only successful Western Style Democratic Nation – Israel.
Since Rice has become Secretary of State the Global War on Terror only exists in Iraq and Afghanistan even though ALL of the PLO and Hamas in particular have committed acts of aggression against America.
Divorcing the Palestinian Terrorists from the Global War on Terror has moved the Bush Administration into forcing the issue of a Two-State solution of the existence to the Land of Israel and a sovereign nation of Palestine. This drive to force the existence of Palestine is occurring even though the concerted goal of Palestinian Terrorists is the elimination of Israel as a nation with the giddy dream of wiping Jews out in the Middle East.
Secretary Rice’s push for a Two-State solution indirectly aid’s the Palestinian goal of the destruction of Israel.
So do I think Condi Rice should be a VP consideration for McCain? NO.

The incompetence of Prime Minister Olmert to manage the government of Israel is appalling. Combine this with the Bush Administration intense pressure on Olmert to agree to create a Palestinian-Arab State managed by a gang of greedy turf minded terrorist thugs and you will have more violence not less.
There is only way for a Palestinian State to exist and that is for fellow Arabs to actually step in and do a Donald Trump to the fractured Islamist thugs and say, “YOU’RE FIRED!”
The only way for there to be Middle East peace is Arab nations like Jordan and Egypt to join Israel and cooperate in the front of the World’s eyes and remove the incendiary Palestinian murderous thugs.
Without major Arab cooperation the Bush Administration and Ehud Olmert are setting the Jews of Israel for a Wahhabi-Muslim Brotherhood-Syrian-Iranian dream come true: The eradication of the existence of the Land Israel.

Here is some blatant evidence of Bush Administration arm twisting to force Israel into a precarious situation that will further threaten the National Security of Israel against the wishes of over 60% Israeli citizens.
Secretary of State Rice claimed recently that a majority of Israelis wish to give up the West Bank to create a Palestinian State. The poll conducted by Israel Policy Center for Promoting Parliamentary Democracy and Jewish Values in Israeli Public Life also shows that 77% of Israelis believe the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas cannot deliver on preventing rockets being launched from the West Bank if it is converted to a Palestinian State.
That means Hamas from Gaza allowing rockets to terrorize civilian cities in southern Israel and rockets from the West Bank terrorizing civilian cities as far away as Tel Aviv through central Israel. Such an occurrence from a sovereign nation would be an act of war. So why create a Palestinian State if Israel has to defend itself by invading a sovereign Palestine to prevent harm to Israel’s citizens?
Secretary Rice is obviously utilizing propaganda to convince Jewish leaders to acquiesce to the existence of a mortal enemy known as Palestine.
