Barack Obama's disturbing leftist ties

Last week at RedState we uncovered the news that Barack Obama was endorsed by something called the New Party. Since then we have investigated what the New Party was.

It is abundantly clear that the New Party was a political party designed to push the Democratic Party to the far left. It's membership was an amalgamation of socialists, unrepentant communists, union activists, urban activists, and environmentalists.

You can read all about the New Party and Obama's rise to power here.

Its platform included such lovely ideas as government takeovers of all banking institutions, much higher taxes, and massive reductions in the military. To win the nomination of the New Party, a candidate would have to agree to sign a statement expressing loyalty to the party.

By the time Barack Obama sought the party's nomination for his first election in 1996, the New Party had well established itself as the major third party alternative for leftists who thought the Democratic Party had drifted too far to the right.

There is absolutely no doubt that Barack Obama knew what the New Party was. Barack Obama actively sought and received the endorsement of this far left group and, with it, was able to win his election. He was willing to express his loyalty to this far left party. The radical left Democratic Socialists of America praised the New Party's endorsement of Obama and itself promoted Obama.

None of us should buy into the notion that the man is somehow different because of his silver tongue. He is a political opportunist, a die-hard leftist, or both. It is clear, based on what the New Party was and Obama's connection to it, that he is the candidate of a repudiated past that we should not want to resurrect.

Interpol Ties Chavez to Marxist Terrorists FARC

Remember the incident in South America in which Columbian forces entered Venezuelan territory fought with a FARC drug lord and killed him? As part of the spoils of this minor victory over the global drug market eight laptops were seized and taken back to Columbia in their hasty exit from Venezuela.

Of course Marxist Hugo Chavez went postal and began some saber rattling against Columbia and old Hugo got his buddy Marxist Rafael Correa to also move troops to the Columbia/Ecuador border all in an effort of typical communist intimidation.

Now let’s talk about those eight laptops. Columbia had Interpol forensic experts examine them. Now Interpol is a police force NOT known for corruption. Interpol discovered potential evidence on the laptops linking FARC with Hugo Chavez’s Venezuelan Government. It should be of no surprise because FARC’s original purpose for existing is as a Communist movement (of the old Marxist/Leninist brand) to overthrow the Columbian government. It just happens that ideology is overshadowed by thuggery and international drug dealing (with a little kidnapping thrown in for good measure) as an illegal capitalist enterprise. How is that for the effectiveness of Marxist ideology?

Anyway if the loose ends can be attached to Uncle Hugo with Interpol’s forensic discoveries, then America has an outstanding case to force the rusty wheels of the U.N. Security Council to throw a monkey wrench in the agenda of Hugo Chavez.

He has enamored the youth of America with a slogan that sounds good but it is a slogan with little substance of the “Change” called for. The “Change” alludes to a regime change in America without divulging the specifics of “Change.”

Perhaps Obama’s associations can give America a clue to what “Change” is.

The person has to be a Lefty or a Muslim-America for the person broadcast the intellect of the low brow vulgar slang that is often used by the American Left. Obviously the person chose epithets rather than cogitative thinking to refute my opinion.

Here is my comment response:

There may indeed by a show down between America and China over oil. God forbid if China wins, then the Middle East would truly understand the brutality of an atheistic nation.
Mohammedans have their eye on Israel, USA and the West; however it is the largest persecutor of all religions that makes torture done by Mohammedans look like a picnic. Under Mao tse Tung (or which ever way you choose to write his name), China slaughtered over 35 MILLION people to re-educate and eradicate religion. A program still continued to this day against all religions and particularly focused on Christians, Buddhists (Tibet) and Mohammedans.
If you are a Mohammedan, you are a dumb ass to think China will not slaughter Mohammedans if they win such a confrontation with America. If you are a Communist, you are a dumb ass for supporting such a murderous government.
In fact look at list of genocides and note that America is not even on the list; however the rogue governments of the Middle East main suppliers of weapons are number one and two.
Oil is indeed an economic weapon used as an excuse for National Interests of Super Powers and imposing global intolerance by third rate Mohammedan nations that have oil under their ground.
You know the third rate power nations will not win an oil war. You had better hope America wins if such a war arises. We re-build those we defeat, not slaughter them.

As you can tell, I can be totally irritated at people that use profanity to delusionally make a point. The only point that is made that way is proof the Conservative-Christian path is the way to go for morality and National Defense of the American way of life.

UPDATE: I probably won’t continue to follow up anymore; however the commenter has left a similar comment this time under the name “anonymous.” I was not sure previously whether the person was a Marxist/Leftist or a Mohammedan. I now convinced the person is a Mohammedan.

[Not in the original comment: It is true the Native Americans were mistreated horribly in history by the American Government as it expanded from the East Coast to the West Coast; however the Native Americans not only have full citizenship, freedom and liberty today but the Federal American Government provides extra perks and in some cases allow laws to occur that supersedes State and Local Government (revenue via the gambling industry as one example).

How many Church Bells ring in Mohammedan dominated land? What kind of equal rights under the law do Christian, Jews and non-Muslims have under the Mohammedan rule of law (in many cases where Medieval Sharia Law is the dominant foundation)?

Bolivia on the Brink

Chavez, Castro & Morales

Evo Morales – the President of Bolivia – is described as the mini-me of Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. Morales is utilizing the Chavez playbook to convert Bolivia into a Communist regime as Chavez has done in Venezuela.

There is on big difference though. Morales’ efforts though roughshod are not going smoothly in duping the Bolivian opposition as Chavez has done in Venezuela.

Ergo Morales faces a potential of removal at the hands of an increasingly angrier Bolivian people and political opposition. There are implications that Morales might survive the opposition if he is a bit more deceptive. Hopefully Bolivian are smarter than Venezuelans and put a stop to Morales before his power base becomes autocratically dictatorial.

Communist Regimes Support FARC

The Columbia military entered Ecuador and killed a high echelon leader of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia (Hispanic anagram: FARC).

FARC is a Communist terrorist group whose political goal is to bring repressive Communism to Columbia; however its operations are drug trafficking, kidnapping for ransom, extortion and the general use of terrorist tactics to control the local people FARC has infiltrated and to strike fear in the people of Columbian controlled areas.

Ecuador has cajones in allowing FARC to hide within their national borders. If Columbia has the power to back up threats to their National Security, they have every right to chase terrorists across foreign borders. Ecuador should be condemned for harboring FARC. Indeed harboring FARC could be almost considered an act of war against Columbia.

Venezuela’s reaction was hostile to Columbia. Chavez the President of Venezuela has slowly eroded Democratic institutions since coming to power as an overt Communist striking up an anti-American friendship with Cuba.

Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa describes himself as Socialist and a Roman Catholic and a personal friend of Communist Hugo Chavez.

Thus when Columbia decided to take action against FARC on Ecuadorean soil, it is not surprising that both Venezuela and Ecuador mobilized there military to their borders with Columbia.

This mobilization of military elements in essence validates the Venezuelan and Ecuadorean governments’ support of drug dealing terrorists that operate under the umbrella of Communism.

If Venezuela and Ecuador actually do more than rattle their sabers at Columbia, America should support the Columbian government with a military strike that reminds Chavez and Correa that they can still be spanked even without an American invasion.

The Redemption of Joe McCarthy

Senator Joseph McCarthy has been labeled a relentless witch-hunter of Communists. McCarthy believed Soviet (Russian) spies were conducting at will espionage on all levels of American society from high level government down to the everyday citizen of the USA.

Indeed the term named after Senator McCarthy – McCarthyism – probably squelched or stepped on First Amendment rights of Freedom of Speech which by inference means the freedom of the choice of ideology as long as it does not physically harm another citizen.

Therein lay the grey area of McCarthyism. The existence of McCarthyism was due to the well known abuse of Soviet citizens who did not believe in Communist ideology or that the State is supreme and citizens must submit to the will of the State or suffer horrendous consequences that included imprisonment, prison labor camps in freezing Siberia, torture (the kind that makes waterboarding appear like a picnic), feigned psychological treatment and executions.

The old Soviet Union was an enemy of America after WWII because to the Soviet and Maoist agenda to force the globe to live under Marxist/Leninist/Stalinist/Maoist Communism. The Soviets being the premier cult of global Communist power, the Soviet Union bullied independent nations to either join the Union of Soviet Socialists Republics (USSR) or institute State Communism under the management of the Soviet Communist Party (this would be the Eastern side of the imaginary Iron Curtain known as Eastern Europe).

Coupling the Soviet agenda with their acquisition of nuclear Weapons of Mass Destruction instilled true fear in American culture. In the 1950’s and ‘60’s “Fall Out Shelters” had been built theoretically supplied to allow people to escape and wait for the Fall Out of a nuclear attack to subside. Grade School Children had Nuclear Attack drills which equated to meaningless hiding under their desks. I guess doing something comforted fearful little minds because hiding under a desk within the Fall Out or direct hit of Thermo-Nuclear explosion would not have protected anyone’s life.

American Ballistic Warheads were incredibly accurate however less powerful than Soviet Ballistic Warheads.

Ergo try to imagine the state of mind of American citizens during the Cold War in the 1950’s. Just after WWII which was quickly followed by the Korean War in which General Douglas MacArthur insisted on ending that war with nuclear strikes in China. President Truman fired MacArthur so that no button pushing would happen without Presidential authority. MacArthur was the hero of the Pacific Theater of WWII. It was General versus President on starting a nuclear World War. Although China had nukes their capability was like a fly to America’s fly swatter. Truman’s fear was that the Soviets would be compelled to launch their Ballistic Warheads if America attacked North Korea’s only salvation – Red China.

All this was happening then Joseph McCarthy emerged with evidence of Soviet Agents at the highest level of American government. Of course if the government was infiltrated American Communist sympathizers that supported Left Wing Marxism (some not of the Soviet-kind and some of the Soviet-kind) became the victims of national hysteria.

Some very important and notable people lost their jobs and those that could afford to do so moved abroad outside of the USA. Charlie Chaplin comes to mind in this exodus. And some people lost their jobs for flirting with Marxism in their youth. After all America and the Soviet Union were allies in bringing down Nazi Germany in WWII.

When became evident that the Soviets did not represent Freedom, many a casual flirter with Marxism gave that up and became Democrats and became hard working citizens.

McCarthy began running into trouble, he was stepping on some very powerful toes in government. Eisenhower was definitely an anti-Communist, but to suggest that Soviet Agents operated freely under his Administration did not set well with the elder war hero of WWII.

McCarthy’s sources began to dry up. I don’t know how that happened or who was responsible; however McCarthy knew the Soviets were in a position to greatly damage America’s National Security. So he made a bad choice and began making accusations with the smoking gun proof to back him up.

The enemies of McCarthyism then proceeded to publicly humiliate the Senator as a paranoid witch-hunter of people who did not exist. McCarthy was exonerated of ALL illegal allegations against him; however the US Senate wanted McCarthy blood; thus they censored him rendering McCarthy to the history books as an evil man when indeed he was an American Patriot.

There has been abundant evidence that has proven the McCarthy was not a crack pot. Ironically most of the exonerating evidence has come from old documents of the former Soviet Union.

Here is the thing, you and I were probably raised on large unhealthy dose of history staining Senator Joseph McCarthy as an evil man that ruined peoples lives (especially if you are a baby boomer like me). I even recall seeing old films in Middle School and High School demonizing Joseph McCarthy equating his last name with the practice of smearing a person’s reputation unjustly – McCarthyism. In fact I did a little Googling and discovered this vilification is still occurring as fact in schools and the Slanted Left MSM.

Ann Coulter included the Leftist history revisionism in her book Treason: Liberal Treachery From the Cold War to the War on Terrorism. Coulter defended McCarthy; however she relates that academia vilified her book because of a lack of supposed scholarship in her book. Evidently stuffed shirt Liberals equate biting wit combined with data as unscholarly work.

More recently Coulter has written a column again praising Senator McCarthy; however this time she uses the academic credentials of M. Stanton Evans who has written a 600 page plus book that includes the irrefutable documentation that Leftists could only denounce by what they do best – LIE.

The book Evans wrote is entitled, “Blacklisted by History: The Untold Story of Senator Joe McCarthy and His Fight Against America's Enemies.” (Dad/Grandpa is having a birthday soon … hint.)

I highly encourage you to read Ann Coulter’s November 7, 2007 column titled McCarthyism: The Rosetta Stone of Liberal Lies to get a feel for the byzantine US government threat of Communism from the 1930’s through the era of McCarthy in the 1950’s.

US/India Partnership in Trouble

It would have been awesome to have India (the largest Western style democracy globally) in America’s camp. America even went out on a limb to strike a nuclear technology deal with India subject to approval of Congress and India’s Parliament.

There were critics on the Left in America of sharing nuclear technology with India in light of our denunciation of North Korea and Iran going nuclear. There were traditional slanted right critics (paleocons) who felt such a deal would alienate the much needed support of nuclear armed Mohammedan Pakistan on the War on Terror.

President Bush had managed to swing Congressional approval of the nuclear deal with India. Unfortunately the irony of ironies is occurring in the Indian Parliament. The Left block (Marxist/Communist associated Parties) which make up part of the ruling Parliamentary coalition of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are working to strike down the deal. That is an irony because the Left in America tentatively seems to have signed on to the deal. The reason: traditional Marxist aversion to a Capitalist America as a global hegemon and the Marxist Indian’s fear of America manipulating India’s foreign policy.

Prime Minister Singh has been lobbying hard with the Indian Parliament however it appears headed to defeat.

I suspect the Marxists in India’s Parliament wish to continue an affinity with former Communist Russia (though apparently becoming hostile toward America) and Communist China.

This is an indication to me that has its own version of polarizing politics: The old politicians of India wish to stay connected to past associations with Russia and it’s off and on again relationship with China. A new guard of Indian politicians needs to assert themselves because on paper it would seem an America/India partnership would benefit both nations in National Security and the economics of prosperity as a counter weight to Chinese ambitions to be a global military and economic hegemon at India’s expense.

I believe the ruling Indian elites are missing the big picture for the future growth and security, especially since Islamofascism is attacking India nearly as much as America. The American Media fails to report the significance of radical Islamists committing acts of terrorism against the Hindi majority of India’s population.

Let us hope President Bush and Prime Minister Singh can pull out a twelfth hour turn around for both nations’ sake.

The New American Fifth Column

Fifth Column

Many of the people in America (say) under thirty years of age would have known the idea of what a Fifth Column is. Indeed, I speculate the younger side of the spectrum of the Baby Boomers may have only heard bits and pieces of a Fifth Column from their parents (in seriousness or mocking depending on their political demeanor).

So I am guessing a good chunk of my readers are thinking, “What is he blathering about – a Fifth Column?”

Here is the origin of the term “Fifth Column” from askYahoo.com:

According to Britannica.com, a fifth column refers to any clandestine group or faction of subversive agents who attempt to undermine a nation's solidarity.
Who came up with the phrase, and what's with the columns? Emilio Mola Vidal, a Nationalist general during the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), originally coined the term. As four of his army columns moved on Madrid, the general referred to his militant supporters within the capital as his "fifth column," intent on undermining the loyalist government from within.
So the fifth column is a group of secret sympathizers or supporters of an enemy that engage in espionage or sabotage within defense lines or national borders.
Although it is fascinating to know who coined the term “Fifth Column” it is important to understand two words in this definition: “clandestine” and “subversive.”

Those two words are explained as “a group of secret sympathizers or supporters of an enemy that engage in espionage or sabotage within defensive lines or national borders.”

The Fifth Column group bent on transforming the USA in 1930’s through early 1960’s was American Communist Party members or Communist sympathizers. Communism from within America was a true Fifth Column threat that only really became neutralized in the early Sixty’s. This is where the political demeanor of your parents and grandparents come in.

As a side bar to what I am leading up to let me explain. The Administration of President FDR was infiltrated by Soviet Communists. High level Fifth Columnists were influential of the decisions of FDR, particularly as the “New Deal” progressed to end The Depression of the 1930’s in America. That highest place Soviet Agent was FDR’s personal Advisor Harry Hopkins.

Thus by the end of WWII there were a number of Soviet American sympathizers that the Secular Humanism of a Communist Utopia would solve global poverty and the inequalities of a Class society. These sympathizers had no idea that Stalin was murdering millions more than Hitler simply to maintain his personal Utopia of personal power.

Well anyway then came Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin. He began a campaign to root out Communists from the government. McCarthy’s goals were worth but his means became more and more dubious. McCarthy began to intrude into Freedom of thought and choice of people who were not even part of the government. The classic example is the 1940’s Black List of Hollywood. Hollywood actors and actresses that had even a whiff of Communist sympathy (even if it was a college fling) became Black Listed from working. Thus Charlie Chaplin (one of the world’s greatest comedic actors and a Communist sympathizer) left America and finished his days in Switzerland.

The term McCarthyism became synonymous for a political witch hunt syndrome. Thus McCarthy became discredited in his day. If only McCarthy had used professional investigative methods to disclose actual subversives, he might have gone down in history as a hero. McCarthy died a broken man alcoholic man as the man that “cried wolf” too often. Ironically even today many American history books will portray Harry Hopkins as the architect of the New Deal associated with FDR to get America out of the Depression, painting Hopkins as an American hero.

Communism was an actual Fifth Column working to transform America from a Capitalist land of freedom to a Communist land State monitored despotism.

Is there a Fifth Column in America today? YES!

America’s new Fifth Column threat is Radical Islam.

In mid-June David Gaubatz published a report in InsightMag.com that there were 400 to 500 mosques in America promoting Islamist ideology (meaning death to America and the instituting of Sharia Law at any cost). These Islamofascists have convinced Leftists that in America there is freedom of religion and thus it would be Unconstitutional (ergo politically incorrect) to go after these Mosques and organizations for Conspiracy to subvert the American Government and the peace of non-Muslim (fakir) American, i.e. mostly Christians and those that stand by the Bill of Rights.

Even now Britain is experiencing the errors of accommodating their huge Mohammedan population as they are experiencing multiple al Qaeda terrorist attacks. This experience of the multiplicity of attacks is due to come to America with the huge amount of radical Islamists that get their marching orders from Wahhabists in Saudi Arabia and Islamofascist terrorist organizations like Hamas, al Qaeda and Hezbollah.

Friends this is America’s new Fifth Column. America definitely needs to change its paradigm to force this Fifth Column to disengage its potential threat to the Land of Free and Home of the Brave. Appeasement is not part of paradigm. Political Correctness is not part of that paradigm. The Left will have to choose between egalitarian Liberty and American Liberty.

Egalitarian Liberty is the problem that Europe has gotten itself hooked into; i.e. humanity is basically good and deserving of equality even if it hurts the security and freedom of others. American Liberty is a privilege that has been earned by standing up against foreign aggression including all the reasons that led to the Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Islamofascists, listen up! America does not want to be enslaved to Mohammedan Sharia Law in which an Allah does not view all men are created equal. Most Americans still uphold their Christian traditions and do not want to be told how believe at the penalty of death (by beheading or stoning). Americans desire Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness and to have a government that exists as the result of the people’s consent not a fatwa from a deranged medieval Theo-political Mullah.
