Huckabee’s defense of his Merry Christmas ads in a Church Sermon is the kind of thing that will endear him to the Christian Right.
It is a huge step for a politician to do something so Politically Incorrect in this election’s atmosphere. Huckabee has a dump truck load political dirt from his past to overcome; however putting the Christ back into Christmas is a blinder that devout Christian voters might look askew to the dirt and see a social Conservative light that has been dimming over the years.
It is a smart move by Huckabee. Romney could not dare to inject such Christian symbolism into his campaign for it would re-awaken Mormon theological doubts by Christian big dog supporters who lined up behind him.
For my man Fred to get his poll numbers up, he will have to roll some dice on some sensitive political issues.
Let’s face it, although the Paleocons in the Republican may deplore the actual influence of mobilized Christian Right voters, they are still the king makers in the Republican Party. For a GOP nominee to win, he is going to have to sway a chunk of those Christian Right voters to their side. Now it might be a little different in the big dog November 2008 election in which the Christian becomes a faction of American voters, but even then the Christian Right’s ability to get people out to vote is remarkable if the Christian Right operates on inspiration rather than disappointment.
Rasmussen has published the numbers within the GOP about which candidate is viewed as the most conservative to date.
My Thompson has lost ground and is at a 40% perception as a Conservative. You Thompson supporters had better start reading and sharing why Thompson would make a good President. Have an answer for a couple of black marks:
1. Thompson supported McCain/Feingold, which was a bi-partisan attempt at campaign reform. Unfortunately the reform favored Leftists more than the Slanted Right because the Right dominates grass roots campaigning via Blogs and Talk Radio. The Left controls the Mainstream Media. McCain/Feingold was not good legislation and might even be unconstitutional.
2. When Thompson revamped his staff in preparation for bigger scale Administration and planning for his campaign, he had image problems. At first he hired Spencer Abraham as the Campaign Manager. Oops Abraham is known as Jihad Spence among the Slanted Right anti-Jihadist pundits in America for his support of Arabs in his lobbying days. Thompson moved quickly to diffuse the backlash and Abraham was demoted to third on his Campaign leadership with Bill Lacy becoming the new Campaign Manager.
3. Another campaign “oops” was having friend Phil Martin involved in the campaign. Martin is a guy that has changed his life around and has become a respected businessman; however Martin has a past with drugs and a felony conviction. Once the good ole’ Mainstream Media pointed out that Thompson’s friend was a felon; Martin resigned to prevent mudslinging toward Thompson.
Amazingly Mitt Romney has a 46% rating as a perceived Conservative. Certainly Romney is a Conservative; however from a Christian Right perspective Romney’s faith as a Mormon comes into play. Most on the Christian Right view Mormonism as a cult based on Christianity yet not part of Christianity as say Roman Catholics or Eastern Orthodox are viewed as Christians.
Mormonism itself has all the moral values of Christianity (except the rogue spin-off Mormons that push polygamy); however the theology is definitely different placing more emphasis on the Book of Mormon rather than the Bible as the Word of God.
Romney as a former Governor of Massachusetts has social Conservative issues that he supported in the past but has changed his line in the present to boost a potential attraction to the Christian Right. The attraction seems to be scoring points for some on the Christian Right are beginning to endorse Romney, most significantly Weyrich and Jones.
Robertson is endorsing Giuliani to win the GOP nomination. Robertson’s endorsement could split the cohesion of the Christian Right because Giuliani is openly pro-abortion, pro-homosexual rights and made New York City a sanctuary city for illegal aliens. Zero of those aspects are amenable to the Christian Right. In fact there are those on the Christian Right which feel vehemently that Robertson and Weyrich are playing the role of Judas in the Republican Candidate selection.
My man Thompson is receiving a Christian Right organization’s endorsement allegedly in the very near future. Unnamed Republican sources are claiming the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) will announce their endorsement for Thompson tomorrow. We will see if that pans out. If indeed that happens that will be nearly as huge an endorsement for a Candidate as Robertson’s endorsement for Giuliani.
The GOP selection process is splintering the group that is responsible for electing President Bush to two terms of Office. My wonder is this: can the Christian Right re-unite when the GOP candidate is crowned as the Republican nominee for the Office of President of the United States? A disunited Christian Right could give a PR election advantage to the evil moral relativism of the Democratic Party which definitely stands for everything the Christian Right despises.
Matt Sanchez is an embedded reporter for World Net Daily in Iraq. He provides a perspective that the Mainstream Media (MSM) has little courage to report honestly because of President Bush hatred. Any smacking of success stories from the troop surge undermines Leftist Democrats and Leftist MSM from their agenda of bringing down the influence of the Christian Right Conservatives and neoconservatives. Currently the former and latter groups I have mentioned are the victims of a relatively successful epithet propaganda campaign. In other words the Left is trying to convince the voting public that the war is the result of the Christian Right and neocon influence and they are correct. The conclusion the Left wishes to impose on the voting public is that the War on Terrorism in Iraq is an abject failure. Thus vote Leftist Democrat even though they have no viable solutions (other than abandoning the mission) to win the war initiated by President Bush supporters.
That solution is mere hate propaganda by the Left to regain political control of America to continue the eradication of Biblical morality and the transformation of America into a Secular Humanist value system that normalizes disgusting lifestyles and denigrates the Christian foundations of America’s heritage.
The ruthless Democrats will use any tool to win voters for their ultimate goals even if it means proclaiming the War on Terrorism and the coming clash with radical Islam a loss and something to flee. That plays well with voters that have become impatient with the war not ending microwave style, i.e. the quick zap and leave.
Since the MSM controls most of the dissemination of information to the public, the microwave generation listens. These are voters that care more about what happens to provide their comfort zone and family life in the now rather than the consequences of bad choices for the future. For the most part this chunk of voters listening to MSM propaganda is not political. If they vote at all it is because of unhappiness that the government is blamed for.
So we have the politically Slanted Right via alternate modes of media (Blogs and the few Slanted Right news outlets) vying with information dissemination of the Slanted Left MSM which supports Slanted Left Democrats. The non-political Joe American that merely wishes to live and pursue happiness votes on the scale that perpetuates their life goals. For these voters (again if they vote) the vote is cast for the person they believe will maintain their pursuit of happiness regardless of political affiliation. These are the voters that were enraged with righteous indignation at the occurrence of 9/11. And these are the voters that the Slanted Left have been working to erase the memory of the attack on American soil on 9/11.
Whew! That felt good.
Anyway back to WND embedded reporter Matt Sanchez.
Sanchez writes how Sunni’s are beginning to reach out to American Troops of the Surge because of the murderous rampage of al-Qaeda-Iraq (AQI). Read it and allow it to influence your thought patterns. Remember 9/11!
Jerry Falwell died May 15, 2007. That is a little over a month as of this writing. He was a man that evoked little middle ground: He was honored or despised on a huge polarized scale. Most might believe that that those that carried great disdain for Rev. Falwell were all Slanted Left individual; however I can vouch that some Conservative of the Right disliked him as well. My own son he tends to be a Slanted Right Libertarian (almost an oxymoron these days) had words characterizing Falwell’s death in the same hate terminology I have heard from the Slanted Left which despise the Christian Right like hungry piranhas in a feeding frenzy.
I myself have had mixed feelings toward Rev. Falwell over the years but never on the scale of hatred espoused by way too many people. My disagreements tended to be over theological issues more than politics (He a Baptist, I a Charismatic Pentecostal – oil and water). Yes, Rev. Falwell too often inserted his foot in his mouth politically; however we all have. The arm chair politician is not famous, Rev. Falwell was famous. Thus when Falwell allowed his personal feeling to move his lips before his brain the Slanted Left media was there to make sure all America heard about it.
I am on a Richard Viguerie email list. Viguerie is a paleoconservative that is gaining momentum among the Conservative Right because of President Bush’s bad decisions. Needless to say Viguerie is not a Bush fan, yet he is a staunch Conservative. Here are some belated words about Reverend Jerry Falwell sent via email on a June 19th delivery.

The Enduring Legacy of Jerry Falwell
by Richard A. Viguerie
9625 Surveyor Court, Suite 400
Manassas, Virginia 20110
FOR RELEASE June 19, 2007
What was it about Jerry Falwell that, even after his death, drives liberals crazy?
Journalist Christopher Hitchens called the minister "a little toad" with "chubby little flanks" and called his ministry a "get rich quick scheme,” adding that Falwell may not have read the Bible: "I would doubt that be could actually read any long book…at all.” Said Hitchens: “I think it’s a pity there isn’t a Hell for him to go to.”
Alan Wolfe of Salon.com wrote: "One never wants to speak ill of the dead, but in the case of Jerry Falwell, how can one not?"
In the Calgary Sun, Kathleen Parker wrote: "Jerry Falwell's prosaic death has elevated speaking ill of the dead to the level of sacrament.”
Bill Maher, on his HBO program, remarked, regarding Falwell, that "Death is not always sad.”
Amanda Marcotte, John Edwards's former campaign blogger, wrote: "The gates of Hell swing open and Satan welcomes his beloved son.”
In the New York Times, columnist Frank Rich wrote, "Mr. Falwell was always on the wrong, intolerant side of history...Mr. Falwell had long been an embarrassment and laughingstock to many, including a new generation of Christian leaders."
Cathleen Faisani, religion writer for the Chicago Sun Times, wrote that "my initial reaction to the Rev. Falwell’s death was, and remains a relief…The Rev. Falwell was a spiritual bully. He was Tony Soprano."
During one report, CNN lingered for 15 seconds on a protester's sign that placed Falwell's face next to Hitler’s.
Beyond these gratuitous insults were statements in the mainstream media about Dr. Falwell’s legacy that showed a lack of understanding of Falwell, his followers, and the broader world of Christian conservatives.
One reporter or commentator after, another suggested that Dr. Falwell's power waned in the last 20 years. In fact, he simply changed his focus--from a short-term emphasis on direct political activity to a long-term emphasis or producing new leaders for America and the world.
The Falwell legacy includes:
· Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, which Dr. Falwell founded in 1965. In 40 years, his 35-member congregation grew to 22,000.
· "The Old Time Gospel Hour," the longest-continuously-running religious program on television
· Liberty Channel, a satellite-cable network offering inspirational, family-friendly programming;
· Liberty Godparent Foundation, helping unwed pregnant teenagers, babies, and adoptive families through a maternity home and an adoption agency.
· Elim Home, providing a place of protection and care for men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
· Liberty Counsel, with affiliate attorneys in all 50 states, providing free legal assistance on matters related to religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and the traditional family.
· Liberty Christian Academy, an accredited institution with 1,000 students in pre-school through the 12th grade.
· Liberty University, which is creating a new generation of religious-conservative leaders, with a current enrollment of 9,600 on-campus students and over 18,000 in off-campus distance learning programs. The Liberty University debate team has won national championships in all three intercollegiate debating associates for two consecutive years. The first class just graduated from Liberty University's law school.
Since Liberty University was founded in 1971, it has produced more than 190,000 graduates, including about 11,000 who have become pastors and are carrying on the ideas they learned from Dr. Falwell.
Over the next 10 years, Liberty University is on schedule to graduate over 200,000 conservative Christians who will be future leaders in ministries, the law, public policy, and politics. A school of engineering will start in the Fall and a medical school is in the works as well.
Before Jerry Falwell, most evangelical Protestants--if they were involved in politics at all--were Democrats. They made up Jimmy Carter’s base, without which he could never have been elected president.
But after Carter’s IRS falsely attacked Christian schools as segregation academies, and after Carter supported items on the left-wing agenda such as the so-called Equal Rights Amendment, Jerry Falwell helped bring millions of social and religious conservatives into politics on the side of Ronald Reagan and other political conservatives.
The Republican Party owed its 1994-2006 majority in Congress to the tens of millions of former Democrats who followed Jerry Falwell into the GOP.
At the same time, Dr. Falwell broke down ages-old barriers between conservative Protestants and Catholics, Mormons, Jews, and others.
Peter Applebome wrote in the New York Times that Falwell “helped pull off what had once seemed an impossible task: uniting religious conservatives from many faiths and doctrines by emphasizing what they had in common.”
NBC’s Tim Russert acknowledged that Falwell was able to “suggest that religious people, whether they be Protestant, Catholic, or Jewish, could come together on conservative issues and have real political influence.”
Zev Chafets, who has written extensively about the relationship between evangelicals and Jews, wrote in the Los Angeles Times that “American Jews who now take evangelical friendship for granted need to know that it is, to a large extent, a grant from Jerry Falwell.”
A man, beloved by almost everyone who knew him, overcame ages-old divisions and brought millions together in a cause that changed the course of history. Dr. Falwell’s legacy will continue to be felt in our nation for decades to come.

Joseph Mattera may not have his facts totally accurate, but he 100% accurate as to Nazism/Fascism is closer to socialism than to the Conservative principles of the Christian Right which is far closer to Capitalism. Capitalism in the Christian sense is a good work ethic not for personal gain (secular view) but rather to prosper in order to further the on Earth and humanity.
Nazism, Fascism, Communism and Socialism are all ideologies in which the State controls and manipulates the standards of individual lives as the State perceives it.

Why Hitler’s Beliefs Resonate Today

One of the things that agitates me most when I read the newspaper is when someone equates Nazism with Conservatism and so-called right-wing Christianity.
The liberal media elites have successfully brainwashed the American public in such a way that they have constructed a view of Hitler that is quite the opposite of reality!
First of all, we need to understand that the term Nazism means National Socialism. (For example, the USSR stood for the Union of Soviet Socialists Republics).
If anything, Hitler, Nazism, and Fascism more closely resemble present day left-wing liberals than those who espouse a conservative political view.
Furthermore, when you read the writings of Karl Marx and his book The Communist Manifesto, you find that the modern day liberal intellects in universities and our liberal elected officials are more dedicated to the ideals of Communism and Karl Marx than to the ideals that made our nation great!
First of all, let’s paint a true picture of Fascism.
The socialistic ideals of Fascism are harder to detect, because within its system the state allows private ownership, but with many burdensome rules, regulations and laws that essentially control every aspect of the decision making process of the alleged private owners.
I tell folks all the time that the is more closely related to both Socialism and Fascism than to Capitalism because the immense size of our state, city and federal governments interferes, intervenes and regulates every aspect of life. This contradicts the vision the Founding Fathers had of a small government that was by the people and for the people, whose main objective was to ensure every citizen the unalienable rights given to us by our Creator (note the Declaration of Independence).
If you don’t believe what I am saying, just refuse to pay your property taxes. Then you will find out who really owns your house. (Property taxes are so high in some regions, it is akin to paying another mortgage–only this time we are paying rent to the state!)
Involved with Hitler’s Fascism were:
-Strict gun control laws. German citizens, especially every politically incorrect German citizen, had their guns confiscated.
-Legalized euthanasia and abortion.
-State controlled education and indoctrination of children, including the rewriting of German history.
-Acceptance of homosexuality as part of their manhood. Some believe this was one reason why they killed Bible-believing Christians and Jews; their tenets contradicted the homosexual lifestyle, though effeminate homosexuals were also executed because it belittled their Arian manhood.
-Rules, regulations and high taxes interwoven with private property and business.
-A progressive income tax.
Does this all sound familiar?
Are these ideals more closely related to Communism and its kissing cousin Socialism or to moral and political conservatives?
One of the biggest tragedies in the past 150 years has been the “dumbing down” of Christianity and of our young.
Marx, Lenin, Hitler and others had to rewrite history and deemphasize the Christian influence as part of their plan to control the masses.
Our nation has been in moral decline primarily because we as Christians have been taught to throw our brains out the window and only think about the next life!
Instead of starting schools like Harvard, Yale, Columbia and Princeton (which all originally existed for the express purpose of training Christians to lead in every realm of society with a biblical world and life view), we tend to isolate and separate our spiritual meeting place from the marketplace, and speak of doctrine, theology and anything intellectual as if it were unspiritual and anti-Christian. This is the very opposite of what is necessary to disciple the nations and be salt and light to the world!
I believe churches need to start having altar calls in our services for young people to become educators, economists, lawyers, doctors, judges, community and civic leaders, not just missionaries and preachers!
We need to teach the truth about ’s Christian history, and Christianity’s influence on our nation’s founding documents, such as the Mayflower Compact, the Declaration of Independence, and even the U.S. Constitution.
If all we are concerned about as Christian leaders is having an anointed Sunday service, and do nothing to raise up the next generation to engage the culture in the battle of ideas, then one day we won’t even have the right to have our anointed services!
As Hitler continued to increase in power until he controlled every aspect of life for every citizen, we are presently witnessing the liberal elite change the history books, do away with biblical law, attempt to remove every vestige of Christianity from public view, and transition our nation from a republic (the people electing representatives to rule for them) to an oligarchy (the government is made up of a handful of ruling elite; e.g. how the Supreme Court and the judiciary presently function in this country).
Ignorance is not a blessing; it is not bliss, nor benign. It is a curse and its passivity has been responsible for the shed blood of millions, born and unborn!
A few years ago the Lord showed me that it is time for me to come out of hiding and to impact both the church and society with the Gospel of the .
Thousands of other saints are hearing the same call!
Join this powerful movement and as we proactively move forward, the gates of hell will not prevail against the church!
Together, we are unstoppable!
