Supporters of Senator Inhofe,
You may have already heard the news. Seven minutes into their departure from Iraq, the C-130 airplane Senator Inhofe was flying on was shot at by three rocket propelled grenades. Evasive action was taken by the skilled flight crew and flares were deployed in the event the rockets were heat-seeking.
I know your reaction to hearing Senator Inhofe is safely back in the United States is like ours: relief.
But an elected leader within the Oklahoma Democrat Party had a different reaction this morning: disappointment.
In fact, two liberal Democrat websites posted the news with headlines such as:
"So close yet so far...Inhofe plane fired on in Iraq"
"We can't get rid of this crazy bastard"
Can you believe that? It doesn't matter what party you belong to or even if you're a U.S. Senator: any time an American citizen safely returns from Iraq is cause for celebration.
We often talk about how liberals will do anything to defeat our Senator next year, but this proves when they say they will do "anything," they really mean it.More than a year away from Election Day, the race hasn't even begun to heat up yet. But with hateful rhetoric already this intense, we must be fully prepared for the liberal Democrats to be unrelenting in their vile remarks.
Most importantly, we must never lower to their level. We must remain focused on the issues. Senator Inhofe has a tremendous record of service, and we can be proud of what he has accomplished for Oklahoma in Washington.
Onward,
Team Inhofe

Samuel G. Freedman writing for the NY Times defends Yemeni immigrant Debbie Almontaser who was to be the Principal of an opening Arabic culture Public School opening in Brooklyn, NY. Almontaser resigned her position as Principal before the Khalil Gibran International Academy (KGIA) even opened its doors.
Freedman goes through a list of anti-KGIA sources as if they were on a witch hunt to have Almontaser burnt at the stake. After comparing some of the anti-KGIA sources with Freedman’s article at the NY Times, I grudgingly agree that Almontaser was treated harsher than perhaps her actual character represents.
In addition to Daniel Pipes, Freedman lists these as anti-KGIA and anti-Almontaser blogs or media that provided editorials:
(I am a big fan of the last two as sources.)
On the other hand Almontaser is not a person that I would still favor as a Public School funded Principal of a school purported to have merely an Arabic culture curriculum. Here is the accreditation Freedman provides for Almontaser:
For anyone who bothered to look for it, Ms. Almontaser left a clear, public record of interfaith activism and outreach across the boundaries of race, ethnicity and religion. Her efforts, especially after the Sept. 11 attacks, earned her honors, grants and fellowships. She has collaborated so often with Jewish organizations that an Arab-American newspaper, Aramica, castigated her earlier this summer for being too close to a “Zionist organization,” meaning the Anti-Defamation League.
Ms. Almontaser has twice been profiled on Voice of America as an accomplished Muslim American. Her son, Yousif, spent several months on rescue efforts at ground zero as a member of the Army National Guard. Four of her nephews and cousins have served in the United States military in Iraq.
None of these details were exactly hidden under a rock. But her critics …
Freedman’s brief summation portrays a picture of the Arab-American Patriot. And you know what; it is difficult to argue with her accomplishments as portrayed by Freedman.
The thing is Almontaser’s critics went over the edge in demonizing her whereas Freedman may be a tad bit over the edge of glowing praise. Certainly from reading the comparisons Almontaser is a good American citizen due her rights of Freedom of Speech, Thought and Religion. The difficulty I have with Almontaser deals with the political polarity that has infected America opening a chasm of what is right and wrong in which an American should stand for their country.
For example Freedman fails to mention that some of those awards and civic relationships have been extended from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR has been linked to the Palestinian homicidal terrorist organization Hamas and recently has even been named as an unindicted co-conspirator with another American-Mohammedan organization for slush funding to Hamas. For CAIR that is the smoking gun that tarnishes its reputation as a moderate Mohammedan organization allegedly only concerned for the civil rights of Mohammedan-Americans. Anyone foolish enough to link themselves in anyway with CAIR thus supports CAIR’s Islamist agenda. Almontaser is one of many to have associated with CAIR.
Then there is the KGIA itself. The soon to open Academy has been very reluctant to make public it so-called Arabic Cultural curriculum. I suspect the reason for that is it is almost impossible to separate Arabic Culture from religious Islamic teachings. Thus really the public school with the appellation of Khalil Gibran International Academy would not so much be an Arabic cultural Public School as an Islamic Cultural Public School.
Hello! The Left, Secular Humanists and the ACLU have been fighting for more than half a century to keep any inklings to Christianity out of the Public School system erroneously proclaiming the government would be endorsing or establishing a particular religion with tax payer money.
Let us see: KGIA would be a school steeped in teaching its students Islamic culture; meaning teaching religion. Can anyone see the double standard?
There is a blog that Freedman would list as part of the witch hunt on Almontaser that everyone should read. It is called Stop the Madrassas. Go there and you will get detailed information on how the New York Mayor and Public School Officials have stonewalled in providing transparent information probably due to some Politically Correct sense of honor. If anyone has been following the War on Terror, Islamofascism and Islamists at home and abroad then you should be fully aware the defeatist and the appeasement mind of Politically Correctness is one of the hugest factors in gaining victories over terrorism globally.
Samuel G. Freedman should think of that and write a fair, balanced and realistic article about Almontaser and/or the KGIA.
I was unaware that there were some Evangelical organizations and Ministers that actually support the creation of a sovereign Palestinian State. I am aware many Mainline Christian denominations indeed support such a travesty and even malign Israel’s Jewish State to defend themselves from so-called Palestinian Arabs.
BUT Evangelicals supporting a two-State existence is astounding! I am particularly astounded because those that claim leadership of so-called Palestinian Arabs are blood thirsty terrorists with the end goal to destroy Israel and Jews from the land.
Do not be persuaded that President Abbas of the Palestine Authority (PA) and Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) has suddenly become a moderate Arab Mohammedan willing to negotiate for peaceful coexistence with Israel. The PA points of negotiation if accepted by Israel will be the demise of the nation and potentially lead to a 21st century holocaust; viz. the total fall back of Israel to pre-1967 borders (which includes part of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount) and the so-called right of return of Arabs that fled Israel when the Arab world surrounding Israel invaded with the intent of destroying the Israeli State.
Jerusalem and the Temple Mount are sacred to Judaism and have been so much longer than the existence of Mohammedanism. Flooding Israel with Arabs or more precisely, the descendants of Arabs that fled Israel in 1948 at the behest of expectant victory thirsty Arab invaders will terminate the Jewish State. Palestinian Arabs are fully aware of this!
Thus You MUST READ an open response letter to this minority of Evangelicals from the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), a Christian organization residing in Israel with chapters extending world wide. The ICEJ is more representative of the majority mindset of Evangelicals.

ICEJ Response to Evangelical Letter
Wednesday, 29 August 2007
International Christian Embassy Jerusalem
ICEJ Special Release
Recently, a group of 34 Evangelical Christian leaders in America wrote an open letter to U.S. President George W. Bush to register their support for his efforts to achieve a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and to clarify that not all Evangelicals oppose such a resolution of this long-running dispute. As a leading Christian Zionist ministry, we value the opportunity to graciously respond to these Christian brothers, particularly in regards to their handling of the Biblical "mystery" that is Israel.
We respect the right of American citizens to engage with their government on matters of such immense importance as the Israeli-Arab conflict. We cannot agree, however, with the historical and moral equivalence that these Christian leaders have drawn between Israel and the Palestinians, nor with their exegesis of Scripture.
The Jewish people have an ancient claim and attachment to the Land of Israel dating back 4000 years to the Hebrew Patriarch Abraham. There they became a nation that made universal contributions to all humankind, not least of which are the Bible and the Messiah that we Christians hold so dear. In modern times the Jews have returned to their ancient homeland many centuries after being violently uprooted from it not once, but twice. On repeated occasions, Israel has demonstrated its bona fide willingness to partition the land into separate Jewish and Arab states for the sake of peace with their Arab neighbours.
In contrast, though the Palestinian Arab presence in the Land of Israel dates back several generations, they never built an independent nation here and, with all due respect, have made no positive contributions of note to the world. Palestinian nationalism gained traction a mere 40 years ago and only then due to the movement’s adoption of terrorist tactics. It is an historic fact that at every point in which the Jewish people agreed to a two-state solution, the Palestinian Arabs have rejected such compromise in favour of violent 'resistance' to any expression of Jewish sovereignty in the land.
As a result, most Evangelical Christians distrust Palestinian intentions and therefore remain highly skeptical about the merits of a two-state solution at this time, as do a great many Israelis. We think Christians should be very cautious about urging our governments to push Israel prematurely into such risky and unworkable solutions.
At the same time, this does not mean we are "blocking" peace in the Middle East. The blame for that lies largely with the parties in the region themselves and primarily with militant Arab and Islamic elements that seek Israel's destruction.
It is our assessment that the Evangelicals writing to President Bush were nonetheless able to place Israel and the Palestinians on an equal footing because of two theological errors:
1) A failure to grasp the biblical paradox of 'free grace' versus 'divine election', and
2) Their adherence to the vestiges of a doctrine known as Replacement theology.
It is clear from the Bible that God indeed loves all men the same, whether Israelis, Palestinians or others. Yet it is equally true that God in His sovereignty calls and elects certain vessels for His eternal purposes. "Jacob I loved, Esau I hated", affirms Romans 9:13. Thus we understand that God established a unique relationship with Israel for the purpose of world redemption, and that relationship is enduring and has no equivalent whatsoever on the Palestinian side.
Yet many Christians to this day deny that Israel still stands in a special covenant relationship with God. Because it was the source of so much evil and hostility against the Jewish people down through Church history, many who cling to such Replacement thinking prefer the term “Fulfillment” theology – meaning that the coming of Christ and birth of the Church fulfilled all the promises that God made to ancient Israel. In either case, the result is the same – Israel is seen as having already completed her redemptive mission, leaving the modern state of Israel with no theological significance and she should be treated accordingly.
It is our belief, however, that God's covenants with Israel are as valid today as when He first swore two irrevocable and unconditional oaths to Abraham:
1) To 'bless' or redeem the world through his seed (Genesis 12:1-3), and
2) To deliver the Land of Canaan to Abraham's natural descendants as an "everlasting possession" (Genesis 17:8).
Thus both the people and the land of Israel were chosen for the purpose of world redemption, and to remove either one from the equation undermines the Abrahamic covenant, and by extension even our own salvation as New Testament believers. Why? Because according to the Apostles' teaching it would render God a liar and absolutely untrustworthy (see Romans 3:1-4; Hebrews 6:13-20).
Yet many Christians ignore or demean the land component of the Abrahamic Covenant, even though the Bible lays emphasis on it throughout its pages. For instance, when the Psalmist describes the covenant with Abraham, he stresses the land promise and its validity for "a thousand generations" (Psalm 105:8-12). Nothing in the New Testament abrogates or nullifies this land promise (see Romans 3:3; II Timothy 2:13; Galatians 3:15-17).
Now it is true that in the Mosaic covenant, God then comes along and places conditions on Israel's right to enjoy possession of that which they already own (Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 28). Yet Israel's loss of domicile in the land has never meant her loss of underlying title to the land (Leviticus 26:44-46). Even the past 2000 years of exile is not a sign of Israel's ultimate rejection before God; rather God was simply keeping His side of the 'bargain' made at Sinai. Thus in Israel's exiles we see God's righteous and just character, but in Israel's returns we see His faithfulness and favour (Psalm 102:13).
In the end, Abraham was promised not only a ‘seed’ to bless the whole earth, but also the physical land of Israel as an ‘everlasting possession’. The Bible essentially tells us that the first coming of Messiah fulfilled the first promise (Galatians 3:16), while His Second Coming will ensure the latter.
In other words, Israel will one day finally enter into her promised rest and peace in the land. We believe this will have its ultimate fulfillment in the Messianic Age. Until then, we will not be advocating that an unredeemed Israel enter into her full land allotment. But neither will we be a part of any effort to force Israel to permanently divest herself from her land inheritance.

Youssef Ibrahim writes about Saudi Arabia from the perspective of former CIA Agent Robert Baer. The picture is not pretty. The picture painted of Saudi Arabia is that of an evil Mohammedan Kingdom bent on global subversion via Wahhabi fundamentalism coupled paradoxically with wealthy Saudis living the life of a Western hedonist.
Think of that! Next to Israel, Saudi Arabia is considered by many (especially pro-Arabists) to be central as an American ally in the Middle East as well as a source of political stability. Indeed the fact is Saudi Arabia via the dissemination of evil propaganda and the duplicity of the most corrupt versions of Western hedonism is emerging as an enigmatic source of political instability in the Middle East.
This polarity of Wahhabism and hedonism could topple the Saudi Monarchy or the entire royal family much as the Shah of Iran was deposed. It just takes one moronic President in the image of Jimmah Carter for that to happen.

Saudi Arabia: The Islamist Cage
BY YOUSSEF IBRAHIM
August 27, 2007
The New York Sun (Print Version)
A former prime minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, recently declared he was returning home to try to regain power after six years of exile — in Saudi Arabia. The day that the monster of Uganda, Idi Amin, was removed from power in 1979, he flew to a country where sanctuary as a Muslim African leader would be guaranteed upon his arrival — Saudi Arabia.
And in 1970, immediately following the death of an Egyptian dictator, Gamal Abdel Nasser, the leadership of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood movement returned home in droves to try to Islamize their native land — after two decades in Saudi Arabia.
Thus, Saudi Arabia ever expands its fundamentalist cage.
Robert Baer, a 20-year veteran of the CIA and the author of "Sleeping With the Devil: How Washington Sold Our Soul for Saudi Crude," has often described the Saudis as the world's primary financiers of terrorism, the source of much of Al Qaeda's leadership, and an incubating station for radical Islam.
Though such activities have come back to haunt the Saudis and their allies in America — Islamist terror struck home in 1995, 1996, and 1998 bombings, two American embassies were attacked in Africa, and the USS Cole was bombed in Yemen in the leadup to the attacks of September 11, 2001 — the Saudi system continues to perpetuate the model.
The reason, according to Mr. Baer and other Middle East analysts, is that Saudi Arabia runs on two currencies: the riyal and Islam.
Neither Saudi society nor its ruling establishment can escape: All of its constituent elements — from business and charity to religious instruction, law enforcement, and foreign relations — rattle inside the cage of the country's fundamentalist obsessions: The Saudi flag contains a Koranic verse. The Saudi monarch wraps his authority in Islam as "the custodian of Mecca and Medina." Saudi foreign aid is based on building fundamentalist madrassas and mosques, supporting such fundamentalist groups as Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, and spreading Koranic instruction worldwide.
Arab and Muslim expatriate workers who have lived and worked in Saudi Arabia — easily numbering 50 million over the last three decades — return imbued with a model of militancy that duplicates an Osama bin Laden-style path toward jihad against their home societies.
This vicious cycle mattered little when oil was cheap and the Saudis were a mere curiosity. But Saudi Arabia's power grew as it was transformed into a prime energy source in the 1970s, a huge financial influence in the 1980s, and an immense lobbying presence in the 1990s.
By the late '90s, there were full-size mirror images of Saudi Arabia's stilted brand of Islam in Egypt, Pakistan, Somalia, the Philippines, Chechnya, Bosnia, and Kosovo, as well as among Muslim communities in Europe, Australia, and America. More mirror images are in the making.
In one of his many interviews since leaving the CIA, Mr. Baer gave an interesting analysis of the elements that make for the creation and exportation of this model, describing Saudi Arabia as both hapless and evil.
"They feel humiliated by colonialism, by the United States, by Israel — call it what you want. They feel they are citizens or subjects of a country that has never fought a war, and yet spends so much money on defense. They're humiliated that they don't take the Israelis on, because their army is worthless. They sit around and they read the Koran. And they get on these Islamic Web sites, and they watch Al-Jazeera. And they go to the mosque."
In other words, the Saudis do little except rattle around within the cage of their own fundamentalism. This deep confusion is reflected throughout the ruling family, which contains both princes who are Westernized — in such vulgar aspects as drinking, womanizing, gambling, and wearing diamond-studded Rolex watches — and others who leave a mosque only to enter a charity that nurtures madrassas turning out little bin Ladens.
Their schizophrenia is exemplified in such global personalities as Prince Al-Walid bin Talal, a multibillionaire businessman who simultaneously invests his billions in America while funding both the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which is the American chapter of the jihadist Muslim Brotherhood.
In the end, the Saudis are just rattling around in their cage. A society with no social project except to produce more Muslims, deeper Muslims, better Muslims, ends up as one that produces Muslim fanatics and terrorists.
Now, with oil prices having moved north of $70 dollar a barrel, a lot more trouble will be coming our way out of the Saudi cage.

David Barton is an influential person in Evangelical circles in getting out the Christian view of American History. His mission is to energize Christians to reestablish a Christian political influence in America based on a history of “its constitutional, moral, and religious foundations.” The base of Barton’s mission in life is delivered through the organization known as Wall Builders.
The Wall Builders “about” page is huge in defining its purpose and goals. Here is the Overview paragraph on the “about” page:
WallBuilders is an organization dedicated to presenting America's forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built-a foundation which, in recent years, has been seriously attacked and undermined. In accord with what was so accurately stated by George Washington, we believe that "the propitious [favorable] smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation which disregards the eternal rules of order and right which heaven itself has ordained."
Slanted Left critics of Barton disdain his credentials because his earned academic degree is a Bachelor Degree from a private Christian university – Oral Roberts University. The intimidated Left spew criticism indicating only a PhD can only be considered an expert. You know like the Professor (no PhD) wacko Ward Churchill who has been academically discredited and fired.
Leftists hold plagiarist Churchill in high regard yet disdain Barton who backs his conclusions with documents. Indeed Leftist watch dog People for the American Way heap academic weakness on Barton citing Barton’s own website and Slanted Right organization as resource proof of historical ineptitude yet not providing one iota of substantial citation to disprove Barton’s assertions. The fact is the Left revise history to punch a square peg into a round hole of secular humanistic relativism while the people like Barton back up history with documentation.
Now I have stated my reasons for validating David Barton to set up a must read essay of his I found at a Christian Ministry website known as Visionary Advancement Strategies at an InJesus Group. The essay presents the foundation as to why Christians should engage in politics because politics has removed the Biblical foundations that have made America strong.
Oklahoma has passed a State Law that mandates stiffer measures against illegal aliens, meaning seeking and deporting. A Hispanic businessman estimates that 25,000 Mexicans have fled Tulsa, OK alone.
Pro-Latino groups decry the new Law as fostering racial hate. Anti-illegal alien groups disagree, the Law targets people who break the Law regardless of race, religion or creed.
In the WorldNetDaily article where I read this information you can sense the Leftist victimization guilt trip that restaurants and menial jobs will be affected thus hurting the economy of Tulsa.
There is a hint that the Oklahoma Law will be taken to the Judicial System because of claims it oversteps Federal authority, i.e. the (ineffective lame Federal) Federal Law is easier on illegal aliens. What!? It is against the Federal Law for illegal aliens to be in America, just because a State proceeds with stiffer guidelines to enforce the Federal Law does not the State Law is overstepping its boundaries.
As for the economy taking a hit because of an exodus of Mexicans: Is the implication that breaking the law aids economy? Is it the implication that illegal immigrants receiving the privileges of a free public education and government entitlements are an aid to the economy and tax payers of Oklahoma or America for that matter?
Now I am fully aware that the majority of illegal alien Mexicans are hard working people trying to improve their quality of life or the quality of life of family back in Mexico with American money; however with the immigration of honest hard working illegal aliens is also a conduit to illicit felonious drug and gang businesses. That definitely does not help the economy of Oklahoma or America.
I offer no solutions for there are not any easy solutions which are beneficial to the hard working the Mexicans and the American citizens. Mass deportation is not an answer nor is mass amnesty. The former is to expensive enmasse and the latter will permit the criminals to stay in America along with the hard working Mexicans.
In the process of finding a solution it should not be the American citizens that take the hit in taxes or becoming the potential victims of drugs, career criminals or gangs. If a hit should be taken it should err toward the ones already breaking the law, not the law abiding.
ColdHeartedTruth Blog offers an evaluation of the National Intelligence Estimate report. The blogs assumes the Left will cherry pick what it wants to see and not see and stick to their position of “cut-n-run.”
ColdHeartedTruth Blog also reiterates the NIE report pretty much rephrases the agenda of the Surge Strategy signed off on by President Bush and executed by General Patraeus.
If you visited this website in the past you are fully aware that I believe the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to be a fifth columnist organization that has duped the Mainstream Media (MSM) and public American officials alike that CAIR is a peaceful civil rights organization which is the standard bearer for Mohammedan-Americans in the United States of America.
CAIR is fifth columnist in that its public representation is a lie; in fact CAIR closely associates with Mohammedan terrorist organizations. The most recent exposé on that matter is CAIR association with Hamas; however even the founding of the Islamist group has deep roots with Palestinian terrorism.
Now CAIR is harassing American non-Mohammedans at their homes voicing their displeasure with private citizen opinions of Mohammedanism. One recent event involves a Marine veteran that has fought in Somalia and Iraq with a bumper sticker on his vehicle that read, “Jesus loves you, and Allah wants you dead.” Apparently a Mohammedan neighbor of this Marine reported his displeasure to CAIR. CAIR came to the door to “dialogue” about the bumper sticker. The local media supported the CAIR action as some sort of multicultural engagement of an overture for peaceful discussion.
Patrick Poole points out a different scenario: What if Poole, Robert Spencer and Andrew Whitehead (noted vocal anti-Islamists) came to a Mohammedan’s door or better yet, a CAIR member’s door, and dialogued about why American Mohammedan organizations do not denounce Islamofascist terrorist or why do the distribute anti-American and “destroy” Israel (Jews) literature? What do you think CAIR and the politically correct MSM would do if such a visit was publicized for all to read?
I will tell what would happen. There would be such a venomous display of fireworks verbiage accusing the trio of racist Islamophobia and how dare the trio use KKK tactics on the Mohammedans.
Think about the agenda and the actual motives of a Mohammedan organization before you believe the schmooze you read and hear. Thoughtful consideration will lead a normal person to understand Mohammedan-American organizations (for the most part) are convoluted and are not the friends of Liberty and Justice for all.
