Iran: Mahdi will defeat archenemy in Jerusalem (on Spring Equinox)

The hidden twelfth Imam is the Messianic Mahdi of Iranian Shi’ite Twelvers. Lately media has been allowing information for Iranian perusal that the Mahdi will return at the Spring Equinox to begin the battle to subjugate the enemies of Allah to Mohammedanism.

This sounds like a theological belief similar to oft wrong Christians that predict the return of Christ in recent years. They have been incorrect for the Word of God says that day will not be known by humanity until it happens.

The concern I have with Iran pushing the Spring Equinox date as a time the Mahdi will manifest in the world smacks of Iranian Ayatollahs and Ahmadinejad exploiting the timing by initiating some kind of global mischief using the Mahdi as justification. Personally I believe this is the reason for the existence of the Iranian nuclear enrichment program. That program will lead to WMD. The WMD will lead to the chaos that Twelvers believe will precede the emergence of the Hidden Imam, aka the Mahdi.

I wonder what Israeli citizens think of America pressuring Olmert not to respond continued Hamas rocket firing? Israel has the ability to direct pin point preemptive strikes on suspected rocket launching areas, yet Olmert calls for Israeli’s to have restraint.

America has also been sending rifles to the PA loyal to Mahmoud Abbas. I wonder what Israeli citizens think of America arming their enemy. At least Hamas is honest about their design to destroy Israel. The PA controlled by Mahmoud Abbas still intends such a confrontation; Abbas is merely biding his time while he is schmoozing support from America and the EU.

Much of Europe has made Holocaust Denial a criminal offense. Although I firmly believe that Denying that the Holocaust took place to be a glaring moral travesty, I do not believe it should be criminalized. That is a free speech issue.

To allow Holocaust Denial to occur in a public forum unanswered is also a moral travesty. Six million Jews were murdered in this genocide. I am uncertain of the figure but I know several million other races (e.g. Gypsies) and physically handicapped also were murdered in the Holocaust genocide.

Wherever a conference is held Denying the Holocaust, an equal and substantial expose’ should as well take place to confront the deluded revisionists. Here is a scandal that implicates the former President and wife Senator Hillary Clinton. The scandal relates to President Clinton selling commerce missions for campaign donations for the Clinton/Gore 1996 Presidential campaign. The Depart of Commerce has implicated in the destruction of documents to get Clinton off the hook. I don’t know the extent but wifey Hillary was also involved. The scandal also stretches to conspiracy for then Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown died in a plane crash in Bosnia under mysterious unanswered circumstances. The conspiracy is that Brown’s death was ordered to shut him up.

Clinton Administration Destroyed Documents Involving Illegal Scheme to Sell Taxpayer-Funded Trade Missions for Campaign Contributions

WASHINGTON, Dec. 27 /Standard Newswire/ -- Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C. upheld the vast majority of a lower court award to Judicial Watch of nearly $900,000 in attorney’s fees and costs in a lawsuit related to the Clinton fundraising scandals (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Commerce, Appeal No. 05-5366) The fees were awarded on December 1, 2006, after a nearly decade-long court battle between Judicial Watch and the U.S. Department of Commerce.

The scandal involved a scheme by Clinton administration officials to sell seats on taxpayer-funded trade missions in exchange for campaign contributions to the 1996 Clinton-Gore campaign. When Judicial Watch began investigating the scandal, Clinton administration officials deliberately concealed and destroyed records regarding the trade missions to avoid releasing them to Judicial Watch. In fact, Ms. Nolanda Hill, a business partner and confidante of then-Clinton Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, testified at a dramatic court hearing during the litigation that the Clinton White House “instructed” Brown "to delay the [Judicial Watch] case by withholding the production of documents prior to the 1996 elections, and to devise a way not to comply with the court’s orders."

Ms. Hill also testified that Brown, who was killed in a plane crash during a trade mission to Bosnia, admitted to her that Hillary Clinton conceived of the scheme to sell trade mission seats. Specifically, the court heard testimony on how Brown allegedly complained about being “Hillary’s [expletive] tour guide.”

Clinton administration misconduct was so egregious that the Commerce Department took the unprecedented step of asking that a judgment be entered against itself in order to end the lawsuit prematurely and stop further revelations. The court denied the Commerce Department’s request, ordered it to conduct a new search for trade mission records and authorized additional discovery into the illegal concealment and destruction of government records.

The lower court also noted that “…disclosures made as a result of this litigation spurred two Congressional committee investigations and a Federal Election Commission investigation into [the Commerce Department’s] alleged sale of foreign mission trade seats. Further, the DOC revised its trade mission participant selection policy to explicitly exclude consideration of past political contributions and activities.” In addition, a criminal inquiry was launched by the Justice Department and FBI.

“We’re pleased the appellate court upheld the award and held the government accountable for its Clinton-era misconduct. Frankly, the Clintons still have a lot to answer for in this scandal,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “This is a vindication of Judicial Watch’s persistence in prosecuting this long battle to let the sun shine in on government corruption.”

President Ford dies at 93

The 38^th President of the has passed away. I have watched platitudes galore on the Fox News channel. On hindsight the platitudes may have been deserved. Back in 1973 I was nut so gushy about President Ford.

I was an extreme liberal at age 17. In my view Nixon was a crook that was caught red handed in felonious dirty tricks against his opposition political party the Democrats. For my generation Nixon’s duplicity represented everything wrong about the “Establishment.” Not to mention that Nixon sent kids close to my age to fight a war my generation viewed as fruitless because was a corrupt government that most of its people hated. That was the view of a 17 year old liberal.

Then Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned due to Tax Evasion charges. This was followed closely by the resignation of President Nixon for tainting the office of President of the United States.

In between Agnew and Nixon resignations Gerald Ford was appointed Vice President and approved by the Senate. At Nixon’s resignation, Ford became the first President to hold the Office by appointment rather than election.

Then came the rub: This appointed President gave corruption tainted Nixon a full pardon even before any indictments could be handed down. This had all the appearance of Nixon selling the appointment of President for a future Presidential pardon from Ford.

This is the primary reason I voted for Jimmy Carter as President in 1976. Jimmy Carter’s Presidency is the primary reason I put the Left behind me and began my gravitation toward Conservativism.

Don't stop terror rockets, says Israeli prime minister

Prime Minister Olmert of Israel is an idiot that will sell Israel to oblivion by thinking a change of tactics will give Israel a chance for peace. Hamas and most Palestinian Arabs in general are dedicated to this proposition: Destroy Israel and drive all Jews into the sea.

Olmert has decided against retaliating to rockets continuously being fired into Israel from Gaza (probably Hamas). Olmert’s decision was taken without military consultation.

I suspect Olmert is complying from pressure from the Bush Administration. This makes Olmert a puppet that could either burn or transform Israel.

Are you curious as to why I say “transform?” I say transform Israel for I am certain Olmert is gambling on Abbas eradicating Hamas control in Gaza in the Palestine Authority. If I am correct, that is even a risky gamble.

I think Abbas plays the old Arafat game of telling the West what it wants to hear while operating to accomplish what Hamas proclaims publicly. Even if Abbas succeeds against Hamas (and that is far from certain), I believe Abbas will turn on Olmert and Israel given the opportunity. Thus Olmert’s gamble is actually a sell out for Israel even if it is done with blind hope.

Iraq's highest appeals court on Tuesday upheld the death sentence for Saddam Hussein in his first trial and said it must be carried out within 30 days. The sentence "must be implemented within 30 days," chief judge Aref Shahin. "From tomorrow, any day could be the day of implementation."

It looks like the Butcher of Iraq is going to be sent to realm of fire and brimstone where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The unrepentant Saddam Hussein will be executed anytime between now and thirty days. The only justification Hussein offers for his heinous crimes against humanity and his own citizens was that he IS still President and leader of unjustly removed by the .

The only thing IS and was certain, is that Hussein is a certifiable genocidal criminally insane nut case.
